I have been getting waxed for YEARS, so I am very familiar with the process and what to expect. I originally came in for a full-body wax with Maria. She cleaned my skin with rubbing alcohol, applied wax to my right underarm, and then left the wax sitting there while she moved on to start my Brazilian. The wax was being left on my skin for several minutes at a time and STILL was not setting properly. Removal was extremely painful. Maria repeatedly apologized throughout the service and seemed unprepared. She also did not have a fan available to help the wax set. At that point, I could already tell that the service was going horribly, so I told her I no longer wanted to proceed with the full-body wax and would only do my underarms and Brazilian. Even after limiting the service, I left with hair still remaining on my Brazilian. Then, after everything that happened, she attempted to charge me $80. I was honestly shocked. The service was painful, the wax was not setting properly, I had to change my original service because I no longer felt comfortable proceeding with a full-body wax, and my Brazilian still was not completed properly. I really wanted to find a waxing location closer to home since I recently moved to Duluth, but this experience made that decision for me. I will gladly make the drive back into Atlanta for my full-body waxes. First and last visit.

I found my name and appointment time but it still asked me to pick my services. I picked both things I needed. The two women in front of me were ushered to their spots. I waited to the side. A few minutes later, a nail tech in the middle of the floor in the waaaay back waived in my direction. I looked around before pointing to my chest and asking if she meant me. She nodded and waived for me to come over. She asked if I didn't remember her from last time, and I replied "It's my first time here.. Nobody really explained to me who I was going to work with. They only asked me to check in and I waited for further instructions." She apologized. Super kind, social, and funny nail tech. Love love love that she can hold a conversation down cause I can be a yapper. She for sure uplifted my mood after being confused. Halfway through my set, she asked what I had planned for the rest of the day. I told her "To get my toes done, too." She immediately spoke with someone and asked if I wanted to get em done at the same time. I told her I did and she reminded me that I had a lot of power in decided to do both at the same time. I appreciated it, but let her know that in general, as a new customer I felt lost because the front desk didn't help clarify who I'd be working with or confirm what I wanted done despite that I told them what I needed verbally and I selected the same things on the tablet. I could only assume that they did they separately because nobody really talked to me to specify. --- QUALITY & VIBE --- Both the set and pedi completed was amazing, the staff is really nice, and the space is clean, professional and spacious. However, as someone who has worked the front desk, I recommend that the front really communicates the process with their NEW customers because that: sets the first impression, clarity helps makes things efficient for the staff and client, and less confusion won't make the client feel uncomfortable from the start.

Also, the environment is clean, warm, and welcoming, and Candy is super bubbly and friendly. Candy finished my Brazilian and underarms in a pain free 20 minutes and left no hairs. My aesthetician was standing there and told me that she would not be able to take me because she'd already taken her next appointment back. I went with the 3rd tier pedicure which including a hot towel, scrub, etc. etc. No corners were cut, I was so relaxed! I opted for a pretty bubblegumish pink for my toes and she really made my feet look fabulous and renewed. After my pedicure package, gel removal and tip, I walked out paying under $100 and in this economy and with the level of service and class, I took that as a deal.
