When I arrived for my appointment, Sandra greeted me at the door, introduced me to Abby behind the counter and said that I needed to provide some personal information before I could have my treatment. I sat in the front reception area and filled out the paperwork which was very simple and easy, and then Sandra took me to treatment room #1. Everything was very clean, pristine and very fresh smelling. No heavy bleach, detergents, or strong aromatics at all; I guess I was expecting there to be a notable compensation in that area because of the nature of the business but surprisingly there wasn't. JUST FRESH AND CLEAN. Sandra then worked her magic with reflexology massage therapy on my feet and then massaging my abdomen to help promote the process. I was thoroughly impressed with her efficiency and how seemless her approach was, it was a great experience! I initially came in for one treatment, but ended up buying a series of four treatments... If I could give a zero I would. Dr Matzinger is not what she portrays herself to be. She tells you…read morethat she is going to " get to the root cause " of why you are not feeling well. Get ready to pay thousands of dollars to feel worse! She put me on a wellness plan that I followed exactly only to start to feel extremely sick. We did have check in calls every few weeks in which I told her I did not feel well at all. She only adjusted a couple of prescriptions and then said let's talk in two weeks. Every time we spoke I told her that I feel worse. She never asked about my diet or took a look at the supplements she put me on. This went on for six months until she finally said that I was due for more bloodwork. When part of it came in I asked the front desk to email it to me. They sent it to me and my results were worse than when I started with her. I decided then that I was not going back to her and will seek another doctor for help. When I asked for the second part of my bloodwork to be sent to me (paid $100 for this), the front desk said that they cannot send it to me and that I have to come in to have the doctor review it with me for an hour. I told them that I paid $100 for this and that I have the right to receive my results. They said this is Dr Matzinger's policy. Dr. Matzinger called me the next day and told me because I got upset with her front desk over this, she would part ways with me. I then told her I had no intention of coming back because she did absolutely nothing for me except make me feel worse! I told her that I never was given anything to sign stating this policy of refusing to give customers their records and it was unethical. I tried to give her feedback but she kept interrupting me and acted like she didn't care. I literally had ask her to let me speak. Finally in the end of our conversation, she contradicted herself my saying that she always gives patients their records and that she just wants to be able to explain the results to them before they see them. This is not what her front desk told me the day before. I told her I just wanted my records and did not want to come in to see her. In the end she said she would email me my records which she did. Maybe she should think about her patients health first instead of thinking about how much she can make off them.

Things I didn't like: The way he talked about issues and treatment sounds as if he is teaching but it's done in a condescending way. Have seen Dr. Hsiung 3 times now and he has been late every time. After numbing injections were finished and right before the scalpel, Dr said "don't yell." And then I felt EVERYTHING, as if I had no numbing medicine at all. It took a lot of restraint not to scream. When I asked questions to understand how to take care during the healing process, doctor became irritated and asked where am I getting these questions. When I stepped into her office, I was greeted by Eve, herself, very personable. The session went well, especially since I just completed a liver/gallbladder flush. She has this pretty cool massaging device to massage the abdominal area if there's any "resistance" during the session. She also knows her pressure points, applied to specific areas in the abdomen, it will encourage elimination. We also had a good conversation about food, nutrition, health and she is knowledgeable. She's an honest therapist, not pushy, no sales type attitude trying to push colonics or products. As she said, let's get to the source of the problem, not just using colonics as a temporary relief. Overall, a very good experience. My only disappointment, no chlorophyll implants. I think the laws are different in each state. Did I mention the prices are very reasonable! $70 for a closed system session is amazing. If you purchase a multi-pack, which I did, the price per session decreases to about $60.
