Valeria was my masseuse; she was very comforting and knowledgable. The Buccal Face Lift Massage is a massage technique for face lifting that targets areas of the lymphatic system, encouraging fluid drainage and in turn reduce puffiness, reduces appearance of wrinkles, improves facial contouring and decreases dark under-eye circles. It also assists with decreasing tension in the jaw and headaches as a result of tension & stress. After the massage, Valeria did a Mini-Collagen Facial to cleanse, purify, and hydrate the skin with ClarityRx Anti-Aging Facial and Collagen Masque. Overall, my face felt less tense and my skin was soft and glowing! I did like the products they use and throughout my session, Valeria was communicating with me to ensure she was using adequate pressure when needed. I'm getting Botox to help prevent further lines while still looking like myself, and I love that they really listen to what you're looking for and make recommendations based on what you actually need. Now, I'll be honest, living in Florida, it's definitely not ideal to have to fly back to New Jersey for Botox every 3-4 months! Haha I've tried a few places in Florida, including ones with fantastic reviews, but I have yet to find anyone who compares to these women. So I guess I'll just have to plan my NJ trips around visiting family AND getting my Botox done! The office itself is gorgeous and beautifully decorated, the staff is incredibly friendly, and they always take the time to check whether you have points or savings available through programs like Aspire, Allē, etc. They also offer great packages for treating different areas as needed. But what I appreciate most is how real and honest everyone is. They don't try to sell you things you don't need. Not only did the treatments not work after a year of routinely coming in, when I called to discuss my concerns again (which I had raised in person numerous times) about how I felt misled with seeing no progress and feeling continual pressure to purchase more packages because "it works for everyone", Johnna told me I was "horrible and disgusting" and went on a rant about the level of hairiness of women by ethnicity. I'm speechless. Johnna will tell you how her laser is state of the art, amazing, and it costs more than a house, but there is nothing magical about this laser. Demi is very inviting and has a warm personality which makes the experience at DemiStudio even more pleasant. Initially, I told her what lip color I was interested in, and she suggested a different color based on my skin tone-- something more coral/orange-hued which I would've never thought to have. I'm so glad she suggested it because it came out beautiful! During the entire process she constantly checked her work and it did not feel rushed compared the last person I went to in 2023. I have to say out of the few who have done my brows in the past, Demi is the only one who suggested NOT to use a numbing agent and explained the reasons why. Apparently going without numbing allows the pigment to be absorbed more into the skin, reduces bruising/swelling, and has better overall color accuracy. I have a pretty high threshold for pain so I took her suggestion to forgo numbing. The pain was bearable and worth it, which I compare to bad sunburn. Before leaving I already had it on my mind that I wanted to come in for a touchup and when I told her, she said it may not be necessary though if I insisted, I could always reach out in 5 weeks for a touchup appointment. I greatly appreciate her honesty to not push more work on me than what I needed. Granted I still contacted her for a touchup and she was very accommodating with her schedule. Almost exactly 1 year later and the color on both brows & lips are still pretty vivid! The coral/orange lip color is especially still going strong with little-to-no fading. Additionally, she works alone in her beautifully aesthetic and serene studio so you are not interrupted by sounds of other people. I always paid for my treatments in advance and trusted the staff enough to have charges placed on my CareCredit account and simply receive my receipt afterward. Unfortunately, my experience has changed significantly. I was first contacted about a $5 charge for a treatment box that no one had informed me needed to be returned. Had I been told there was a return policy, I would have gladly brought it back. Instead, I felt like I was being blamed for something that was never explained. I also experienced confusion regarding my prepaid weight-loss injections. Before picking up my injection, I confirmed with Amy that I was receiving my last prepaid dose and that I would need to pay only if I decided to continue the following week. However, when I arrived, the front desk insisted that I needed to pay again. Even after I explained that I had already prepaid and that this had been confirmed, I continued to be questioned. As a loyal customer, I found this frustrating and unnecessary. The final disappointment came when the owner called me and said the front desk staff felt uncomfortable with what I had said. I explained that I was the one who felt uncomfortable because I had repeatedly been put in situations where I had to defend myself over issues involving communication and payments. Rather than acknowledging my concerns, I was told that my remaining laser session would simply be refunded. The issue has never been about $5 or paying for services. I have always paid for my treatments. The issue is the lack of communication, inconsistent information, and the way I was treated as a long-term customer. I expected a luxury med spa to provide professionalism, respect, and excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have not reflected those standards.

My skin was dry, lacked volume, moisture, etc. I made an appointment to get a hydrafacial with Kristen and immediately fell in love. The spa is gorgeous. It has a nice warm feel to it as you walk in. Everyone is super nice and friendly. Kristen is literally beautiful inside and out. She makes sure you are comfortable and ensures you have the most amazing spa experience. The table is soooooo comfortable and warm. The room is so peaceful and relaxing. Not only did I leave there super relaxed, but my skin was glowing! Kristen doesn't try to push anything on you. She's honest and that is the most amazing feeling in the world! Kristen followed up that evening by checking on me. I mean, talk about great customer service! Needless to say, I went back for my second appointment and she was just as wonderful. In less than a month's time, my skin did a total 180. My skin is flowing and feels so smooth. Definitely has some more work to do but I'm confident my skin will look it's absolute best with Kristen's help! I am definitely going to be a regular at the Montville Medspa.
