I have always gone to the chain stores, I never had a doctor take the time to walk me through the results of my exam. I felt as if the doctor had nothing but time for me. He carefully explained the results he found from the exam. He talked about the type of glasses that would work the best for me. The staff was exceptional as well, kind, receptive, knowledgeable. I highly recommend this office if you need an eye exam. The best level of service I have ever received when getting glasses.

Because I am diabetic, over 65, and had cataract surgery a year ago, he covered a lot with me. Never felt rushed or pressured to hurry through. I also had my exam done at the one in Streamwood just to try a different location but honestly I always end up going back to this place to purchase my contacts and glasses. The parking lot is small but I never had an issue with finding a spot. If it's your first time here, use the doors in the back that's closest to the parking lot. I've never used the front but I've read a reviewer mentioned it was closed for them. You're asked to check in and at this time now, they do take temperatures. Everyone there is friendly and I'm always asked if I've been helped or need help. Seeing the doctor seems to be at a timely manner to me. I understand people may have more questions or have more to discuss. The doctors there are nice and professional. They always seem to remember me lol The lady who does the eye air machine that blows out air lol She is super sweet and I never feel pressured to do the extra machines that cost extra. But she does tell me the importance of it. I do it every other year or so. My contacts always needs to be ordered and I'll usually have it shipped to me. They're nice enough to still give me trials too :-) The last time I was there which was in December of 2020, Yadira and Flor helped me out so much! I wanted to take advantage of my benefits before the end of the year and they figured out what would get me the most and best deal as if it was for them. I honestly appreciate that. They went above and beyond customer service for me. I will continue to keep going here. They have a great system and team.

My first eye appointment a few years ago was extremely brief and I was not satisfied with the quality of service (at another location), but didn't really know any better, it being my first exam. This appointment with Dr. Williams was the complete opposite. She was thorough, patient, very clear in what she was asking of me, and very understanding in letting me express what I was seeing. She explained everything in detail as we went along with the appointment, including what she was testing and how. She was awesome and made a great experience! I also was surprised at the frames Target Optical offered, including popular, luxury brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, along with Coach, Ray-Ban, and Armani Exchange. They also had a Tweed something line exclusively for Target. Many of the frames they offered were on-trend, along with classics, but I was pleasantly surprised with the array of offerings. I will continue to schedule my appointments here with Dr. Williams and would highly recommend her to anyone else in need of an eye exam!

A few days before the appointment, I was sent an email stating that they were sorry I cancelled. I never cancelled. I called and was told that they do not have the doctor in on Wednesdays, which is why I chose them in the first place (again, as per the DV website). I was able to reschedule the appointment for a couple days later. Problems arose the day of the appointment. There was tons of traffic, and so I was running a little bit late (my Waze said 11 minutes) for my appointment. I called just to let them know, and they told me that I would have to cancel if I was more than 10 minutes late. I couldn't continue driving and chance it. Like, I get that they have a policy, but things happen..Still, not a pleasant experience. No matter.. one quick Google search and call, and I'll be at another optometrist in a few days. Thanks anyway.
