    Donna was absolutely fabulous! She treated me with such respect and efficient communicated with me throughout the entire appointment. She created a very warm and welcoming environment. She is very meticulous and precise, you can tell she takes great pride in her work. She is truly an artist and beyond amazing hair stylist

    I've always bypassed the shops in this plaza b/c I'm usually heading towards the outlets on a mission but having recently moved to the area, I thought I'd check them out since I don't like traveling too far for services if I don't have to. Flo did my hair, I only asked for a partial bayalage (hair was dark brown)and for root touch up to hide grays. I was fortunate enough to get in the same day and it was worth it. She is talented and very meticulous with her craft and knows what she is doing. Amanda is the owner and she is friendly and warm. They use high quality paraben/sulfate/cruelty free products and they're planning to extend their services to permanent makeups, lashes, facials etc. I have a feeling this salon will flourish here in Ellenton very soon.

    Where to start. I booked my appointment on their website. The price for cut and color was $95. I figured add about another $20 for medium length hair, between my shoulder and chin. All the years I have had my hair highlighted, they colored it and then they cut. I showed Tara a photo of how I wanted it. She asked a few times to see it. She then proceeded to cut and shave. A little red flag went up, why is she cutting first, but I let it go. As she was doing my hair she asked to see the photo again. Then again she asked and said she was going to have her boss look at it. She looked and told her what to do. The back of my head felt very light in weight. She then highlighted. After she was done, I put my glasses on but could not see that good, I had my wrong glasses. The color I could see was good but the cut did not feel right, felt to short. Not what I wanted. It should have been longer. I go to pay and she tells me that will be $185.00. I am saying to myself, that is crazy! The most I have ever paid was about 125.00. I pay and leave. I get in the car and get a real close up look and just about balled my eyes out. I was butchered!! I got home and my husband could not believe what he saw. I went in bathroom and started crying. I was butchered and not in a good way. This was the worst haircut I have ever had. I had someone ask me if a toddler cut my hair. I then got an email that had my receipt. It stated I was charged a cut and color which was $95 twice. I emailed back and asked if I was over charged. I got a reply back from Amanda the owner and was told that was the correct price. I told her I was way over charged, never paid more than 125 and that my hair was butchered, nothing like the photo I showed. I then got a text from Amanda asking me to call her, I could not when she texted because I was out eating... with a baseball cap hiding my embarrassing hair. She then text me again and told me she was going to refund my money she wanted to fix this and make it right could I please come in on Tuesday or Wednesday. I text her back and told her I could come in on Tuesday. I go in on Tuesday at 4 o'clock she looks at it starts cutting the back to fix it a little and then she said she had another customer coming so she had Claudia fix my hair they both said that yes she did not cut it right the cut was terrible and that the highlighting should have gone down further in the back of my head she stopped it so abruptly it was horrible. Claudia recolored it to bring it down and re-cut it correctly and Claudia even told me she saw Tera cutting my hair when I was there and was a bit worried by what she was doing but she got busy and did not see the final product. Claudia did a nice job considering what she had to work with. I'm all done and I walk up to the desk to give them I credit card to get my money back and Amanda says oh there's no charge, no kidding there's no charge I wasn't going to pay you again. I just want my money. She ends up giving me $45 refund. I left and when I got home text her back to let her know that I was not very happy she told me she was going to refund all of my money The reply I got was what you were happy with the color it was just the cut that wasn't good. Are you kidding me! You tell a client you are going to refund them all of it, you should do that . And if you tell someone YOU are going to fix it, you don't pawn them off, YOU correct the mistake!! This is not the way to do business!!! I will make sure all the ladies in my community are aware of this disaster! The first photo is what I showed Tara I wanted and the rest of the photos are what I got!!! The last picture is the length of my hair before Tara started cutting. When Amanda was trying to fix the back, she made a comment that maybe my hair was not long enough for me to get the cut I wanted, Ummmm, YES it was and Claudia was there the day I came in and saw how long it was. She was standing next to me when Amanda was cutting and I said NO, my hair was more then long enough for this cut and Claudia said yes it was. You can go onto Facebook and go to their page I posted my review on there with some follow ups. Amanda had texted me that she would be so happy to issue my full refund and she even put it on my review however, two months later and I'm still waiting for my refund. She doesn't need my credit card to do it. And yesterday June 2 I went to another salon so that as it's growing out I can get it fixed I've been concerned because my hair is a frizzy mess and I have big pieces that have fallen and broken off and fallen off. According to the new salon I go to my hair was over processed and all the blonde strands have broken off because it was over processed and I now have to go and get B3 treatments.

    Had appointments for a haircut ! But the stylist took a walk-in for a hair color and expected me to wait!!!!! Very unprofessional.

I realized after changing climates, this was actually what I needed. Kellie was wonderful as always, completely attentive to my skin's needs, and I couldn't be happier with my freshly tightened and moisturized face. It was also extremely relaxing.

First of all, with so much scamming and breach of security in some of the world's top companies (including banks), how can you possible think that it's ok to demand clients leave their credit cards "on file" in order to simply book an appointment??? I get it that your time is money, and you feel the need to charge a client if they are a no show no cancellation but if your services are really that great, you're cliental should be established and cancellations should be minimal. And if a client DOES have to cancel for whatever reason, are you then at liberty to simply charge their credit card for a no show?? Sometimes that just goes with being a business owner. As for the staff, well, the experience I encountered from the owner was rude and impersonal. Instead of making a client feel like you're about to have this amazing experience, it was more cold, fake, rude (almost like an imposition) from the beginning of procedure to simple conversation. When you're clearly annoyed by someone asking about pricing, perhaps you should educate yourself on client etiquette. An eye roll response is NOT very professional!! This is a very personal experience. As an owner, you of all people, should be as equally invested in your clients as they are in your services. If you're not really interested in your clients, don't ask personal questions but more importantly, when the individual is in the middle of replying to your question (thinking you were genuinely interested), don't then greet another client and begin having a conversation with that person! RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!! Unfortunately, the fake vibes are very present.
