First time mani/pedis with the BF to celebrate Valentine's Day. I made an appointment, which was fairly simple. You can do it by calling in or booking online. We got there around 5:30pm and there was already another couple there, but a third lady was available to start on us. I didn't know what to expect but I enjoyed the 1.5 hours of relaxation sitting on a massage chair while my soles were getting smoothed out. Picked out 2 colors before sitting down. Pedis were first, then she moved onto the mani. My BF's first time too and he enjoyed the experience! His hands were super soft after. The ladies were super detailed, friendly, and good at what they do. They closed at 7 but they were definitely not rushing to get us out and made sure my toes and nails were fully dried before letting me get up. Would definitely come again! $40/person for a regular mani/pedi. Facility is clean, they always clean in between clients, their supplies are all one-time use. I have no complaints and thought the service was reasonably priced (but again, first time so I don't have anything to compare it to). read more

Scheduled an appointment and on time for my visit: Unfortunately, given the task of a classic manicure, the technician did a poor job. I had remnants of CLEAR gel left on the tips of fingers from last mani, still there by the end of this current mani. Technician was rushing, conversing with a regular who strolled in. A basic mani and I didn't even request a color, session should have been simple and easy. Disappointed with the service today. **3.5 stars** I found this place on Yelp. I made a reservation, although I'm not sure I needed one. They had a decent nail polish selection. They disinfect their tools. They were nice. They were quite busy and had a steady flow of customers. I got a regular mani/pedi three weeks ago and I had no complaints. I have since removed the polish off my nails, but the polish on my toes are still in pretty good condition. I think the reason why I am giving this place 3.5 vs. 4+ stars is because I thought the person that did my pedi was a bit odd. She obviously did the job, but she didn't seem confident with her work. She also dropped all the tools on the floor when she opened the bag. She soaked them with alcohol, but kept staring at one of the tools. She eventually got up to get a new set of tools, but this whole process seemed to take her a while to do. She didn't say anything to me, but she just seemed confused and would glance up at me once in a while in an odd way. Her facial expression seemed like she was thinking in her head, "I hope she didn't notice.." So that left me feeling a bit odd during my whole time there. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place because I love how clean and modern it looks - it seems like they take great care in sterilizing their tools and putting plastic bags in their foot spas for pedicures. However when it came to service I had mixed feelings. The woman who did my manicure didn't even say hi - she just proceeded on working on my hands. I guess she was nice enough. But then she nicked my cuticle (which happens, but it's really annoying given that I've had tons of manicures and this doesn't usually happen) and she was a bit messy on my gels. Also I'm not sure if this counts but the thumbnail she used to clean up my nails looked really caked with nail polish and just downright dirty. But at the least she said thank you when she was finished. The woman who did my toes actually was much more pleasant and did an excellent job on them. Was gentle, was a bit more welcoming. She seemed more with it. So I guess it depends on who you get. I didn't get either of their names unfortunately. And this is just a weird thing that may have been me but the lotion they used to massage my hands and feet left me with a weird reaction - my forearms and calves ended up getting really red and irritated. So I may skip that next time. But if you're sensitive to products, you may ask to do a spot test or skip the lotion massage altogether. read more

Lady was nice and gentle with my daughter. I watched her closely while staying next to my daughter the entire time which they allow. Took tons of videos and pictures and they didn't mind that as well. She took her time on my daughters manicure and pedicure which I appreciate SO much! They were professional and understanding. I would recommend this place to any little girl going for their first mani and pedi. They do offer party birthday packages so I've heard, but I haven't looked into that. I took my daughter to get mani/pedis for her birthday. The shop is super cute. They have smaller chairs for kids and lots of stations. The store is super clean and well maintained. Most places do ok working on little nails, which is understandable, but the work was seriously great. I loved the hot stone pedi and gel manicure. We went early on a Saturday and got in before it got busy so it was very relaxing. They have a Keurig and Madelines for their customers which I though was awesome. My girls love coming here to get a mani/pedi. They have these really cute chairs for the kids to sit in and get an actual pedicure. The nail techs does the whole treatment. From cutting their nails, filing it and coloring it. They even scrub their feet for dead skins and put lotion and massage their legs. My girls love it since they feel like a grown up. Hannah (aka Kim) has been doing my nails for about a year now, but it feels like we go way back. She is genuinely so nice and always makes me laugh. Whenever she does my nails, time passes pretty quickly cause we just chat and catch up on each other's lives. It's always a good time. I'm so happy for her and this new business. She's very humble about it, but she deserves more recognition. What I appreciate most about Hannah is her honesty while dealing with prospective and/or regular customers. She will always give you her best estimation of time - if you're a walk in, she'll let you know what time she can see you. Most places will lie and say their running late or just to wait "a couple minutes"... then suddenly it's been an hour and you're still waiting for a nail tech. That's happened to me numerous times even when I've booked appointments in advance. In addition, Hannah has even recommended other nail salons when they've asked for something that she knows is beyond her skill set. I mean who does that? I've heard horror stories from family where an inexperienced nail tech who never works with acrylics ruined her nails because the salon tried to fit her appointment in with any tech available. Honesty in customer service is hard to come by, but Hannah is doing something right. I definitely recommend this place. I cannot speak on acrylics or pedicures cause I'm solely a gel mani girl, but I always come back. Ps. My mom refuses to have anyone else except Hannah touch her nails so that's a plus hahha. Pps. I wanted to try out a new nail salon, and I'm glad I came across Radiant! Parking isn't horrible depending on the time you come in. I came in on a Thursday at 4:30pm, and it wasn't too busy. But probably an hour later, it started to get busy, and the phones started ringing constantly (good for them!). I believe Kim was the lovely woman who did my nails. I went with gel acrylics, and I told her not to file down my nails too much, and she definitely honored that, which I really appreciate. First time getting a mani and pedi since Covid started. I felt very welcomed and safe coming here. Nice big and open clean space. When you walk in, you'll see hand sanitizers everywhere. The staff is very sweet and efficient. They would take your temperature right when you walk in. They wear masks and use gloves. They take time to wipe down every chair after each use. I bookmarked this place forever and finally got in to see them. Somehow I always need my nails done when they are closed. I took advantage that my son had a school event and decided to pamper myself. I got the gel mani and pedi combo. Pedicure was ok. I would have liked it if they got all the old polish off and used a brush to clean off the paint on my skin. Now on to the gel mani. My normal places usually last anywhere between 3.5 to 5 weeks without lifting or chipping. I'm on day 14 and around day 10 already had some lifting. Prior to leaving the shop I had some rough edges and needed some clean up filing after my gel mani was always finished. If I was ever in a bind to get a pedi I would come back again but for my gel mani I will stick with my two spots in SF. read more
