I've been coming to this nail salon for awhile and they never disappoint! Service is always comfortable, good, quick and most importantly affordable! I came in today hoping they'd be able to make this vision for a nail design come to life and AS MY NAIL TECH'S FIRST TIME ATTEMPTING THIS - she did great! I love how they turned out! I got my nails done last week Thursday July 20, 2023. It's been 1 week and my toenail look like this. It's painful and it's my 2nd time to come to this nails salon. After my nails got clean and done I feel a little pain on my right toenail and I thought it will heal right away but not. I didn't know it will become worst like this!

Had a great experience getting a gel mani here. I walked in around 10:30 on a Saturday and they had a couple customers already. I wasn't sure if they'd be able to squeeze me in since they looked busy, but they asked me to pick a color and then sit at one of the stations. Within minutes, someone came over (I didn't get her name unfortunately) and started working on my nails. I don't get manis very often, and especially not gel, but I was impressed at the efficiency and quality of her work. I left around 11:30 as a happy customer! Unfortunately they don't have a list of their services and prices, but I asked about some basic ones. Most gel manis cost $25 (though some premium colors are $30). It's $5 to remove the gel mani, unless you get another one, in which case it's free. A regular mani/pedi costs $28. Very affordable!

The salon does not use chemicals that irritate the respiratory system. Drop in appointment for gel manicure & was so happy with the work! Will definitely return

Came in as an emergency, needed a fill before a work trip and my regular tech (at another shop) was overbooked. Staying at my I laws for personal reasons, I chose a place close to their home. Called earlier in the day and scheduled an appointment. Got there on time, I waited about 5 min, not bad. The nail tech was nice in greeting me, didn't catch her name but one of the older ladies there. Made small talk and then she started my fill. It took forever! She was so slow and spent the first half of my appointment looking over to the lady next to her and seeing what she was doing. It also hurt when she would hold my fingers due to her long nails, they kept digging into me! When she filed my nails she kept filing my skin and it hurt. I didn't complain because I was already in the middle of the procedure and already took the loss in my head. The cherry on top was the horrible gel polish job she did. Messy and poorly done. Not planning on ever coming back. Enter at your own risk!

Jasmine did my acrylic full set 2 and half weeks ago and my nails still look good! She took her time filing each nail and asked me multiple times if I liked the shape, or if I wanted them filed more. I'm really particular about my nails, I hate thick and wide nails. I'll be going here as long as Jasmine is here for sure! Two pics attached, first one is day of, second pic is almost 3 weeks later and they still look good.

A little disappointed that each coat was not allowed to dry enough which caused some air bubbles and bumps in the nail polish making it one thick layer. However, the lady there was thorough with cleaning my cuticles which is why I'm still giving 3 stars.

One of the younger mail techs did my full set acrylics and it's the best manicure I've had in the Bay Area so far. I live in the east bay and was here with my partner so he could go to the casino(not my cup o tea) so got my nails done on a whim! Absolutely great service and a beautiful manicure

I came in at about 4:30 on a Tuesday and it was pretty empty. There was only one person getting a pedicure. They attended me right away and sat me down. My gel manicure was $30 it was a really fair price. I loved how it came out , the nail tech named Jasmine was so kind and she did such a great job. She also fixed a broken nail I had at no charge, that was so nice of her. I will definitely be coming back. Tip: if you can't find parking in front, there is a parking lot in the back, behind Bank of America!

Came here yesterday. Nice place. Fast friendly service. Multi racial clientele. It was nice to hear so many different languages and everybody seemed to have a neighborly connection going back a generation or two. Customers knew each other from years ago and like a reunion seeing children now full paying adults to support this place. Nice feeling of a tight community here. Easy parking and reasonable. read more

Came here Saturday morning with my boyfriend. We got here when they openI got a gel fill and my boyfriend got a pedi. The lady who did my nails was fast however she was a little rough with the buffer on the nails. One of my nails came out crooked when she was filing but I asked if she could fix it and did it without a problem. It's a very small salon but they seem to work fast. Prices are decent. read more

Went in for a fill, they finished in 25min, very fast. Should've known it was too good to be true. My nails are lifting 3 days later just from the part where the new acrylic was placed. One nail already popped off completely. read more

It's not located in the best area and the shop itself is a hole in the wall but clean. Kim is the best when it comes to pedicures. She works fast makes sure to get all the extra dead skin and ingrown nails out. If she was closer I'd definitely see her monthly. Pedicure with shellac is $40 read more

Called them on tuesday to ask them if they open on thanksgiving. They said yes, they open 10am-7pm. When i went there no one's there, the door is locked and they werent answering their phone. Outside their window says its open and on their website it says that they're open also. read more

I'm new to the area and am very picky when it comes to my mani/pedi (as one should be), so I put off going somewhere just to end up disappointed. However, my nails were crying for help. My boyfriends mom randomly decided to go here with no idea what we were in for. We popped in at 630, they close at 7. You would think they would be rushing to get us out, but nope! I ended up getting one of the best mani/pedi's! The price was beyond reasonable and the icing on the cake! $40 for shellac mani AND regular pedi? Sign me up! Sophia did my mani to perfection. She took her time and I'm beyond happy. They were also low on staff because it was near closing time after all. They ended up calling in Jennie and she did my boyfriends moms nails. Perfection as well! Mindy did both of our pedicures and took her time to ensure we got the full pedi experience with a relaxing massage. Considering they stayed until 830 to take care of us, if I could give them 10 stars I would. I would love to keep this gem my own little secret, but good service deserves to be recognized! I came in this place 2 years ago to get my eyebrows waxed. And I also asked if they also do the eyelash perm. They said yes. I told them that I want to do that too. The b!tch lady who's does the permanent eyelashes said "ok, and then when the other lady done waxing my brows, I told her that I'm also ready for next one. She said "okie okie, just sit and wait for her" with bitch face!! I've waited for almost two hours, I followed them up. They said "The lady left already!!" I was so mad, I paid the eyebrow wax with $2 tip. The lady gave me a nasty look and looked down on the receipt. I think she got mad or upset because of $2 Tip!! Well girls, you don't deserve a big amount of tips because of your nasty attitudes!!!! read more

Never coming here again they over charged me even when prices were posted . They charged me more because they cut my finger and had to put Neosporin and salt this was the most horrible experience I've ever had at a nail shop . I've never worried much about prices because I'm fully aware of each charge when getting my nails done but the lady told me there was an extra charge for "repairing " my finger that she was at fault in cutting ! Pros- affordable place (gel mani and regular pedi $40), decently nice ladies, good selection of gel polishes.....that's about where it ends. Cons- so my personal experience- of the place was that it was pretty busy, kinda dirty, long wait, service takes long, not a great application of product and removed a lot of skin from my toes to the point where it really hurt :( It actually wasn't the worst nail experience if you can believe it and I'd maybe even come back for the gel mani, but to say this place is a 5 star joint wouldn't be honest at all. Just be knowledgable of what you're paying for if you decide to come. read more

I made an appointment shortly after they reopened. The staff is friendly and have made changes to ensure safety. The nice lady manning appointments at the desk let me know I can park behind the building since I didn't have any quarters for the meter. This was after she offered me quarters herself! read more

This was my first time going here and I ended up being unsatisfied. Overall experience, I felt rushed and not taken care. Whoever did my manicure and pedicure sure did an awful job. My nails were not the same length when they finished. I had to even my nails out when I got home. Plus the lady didn't cut my toe nails right as you can see in the pic. read more

Beat salon in DC!!! sweetest ladies there but miss Jazmin is the bomb diggity and the to go lady if you are interested in acrylic nails. Absolutely amazing every time you go. Have never been disappointed with her once. She pulls some amazing magic off in such a short time! So sweet too.. love you Jazmin and thank you for your service. Has been amazing from the first time and I will never switch to anyone else. I went first time to this place with a bad expirence of waxing and manicure. Whoever done my eyebrows wax she peeled my skin . I had to go to the party after two days but I was so embarrassed with all those crusts on my eyelids. When I went to show them they were no sorry and they didn't tell me the name of the owner. The lady who did my manicure she had a full attention on a Chinese tv series. But the one who did my pedicure. She did a good job. I will suggest the owner of that place to check your employees. read more

Run, don't walk to a different nail shop. They don't clean their instruments between clients. Older lady did my nails. ..tools she used change from a box labeled "clean", buy they were obviously used! !! A week later nail started lifting. ..i went back when she trying to fix. ..turns outs....nasty green fungus on one nail. Lady tries to blame last shop I went to..... That would have worked, if i hadn't been going to other shop for over 4 yrs with no problem.!!!! Even what she tried to fix. ...had to be fixed by different shop. This lady should not have a licence. ...when it is all said and done. ..They will put medicine, but fungus not gone till nail votes out. Nightmare! !!!!!!!! read more

Mai is the best person I've ever got a pedicure from. I been looking for someone the longest and I was tired of settling for less at the previous shop I went to. She took her time like legit took her time, made sure everything was perfect and she massaged for a good amount of time. Usually the people who do my pedicure rush through it, they don't clean it good, and the massage lasts for like 3 second lol. Mai took her time, and she's the sweetest ever. Always had a smile on her face and she didn't complain when I asked her to put another coat. So happy I found her here! Go see Mai for a pedicure!!! You won't regret it read more

This is a GREAT place to get a pedicure there deluxe is $26 with French tip n design it came out to $35. The Delux includes Paraffin wax which is my favorite because my feet get soooo dried out. They really took there time with me really caring for the appearance of my toenails like trimming the cuticles n what not. There all really friendly and I personally like to come in, put my headphones on and zone out and they respected that. It's in a strip mall and there is metered parking out front and a free parking lot out back but be sure not to park in the BofA spots. Even excluding the BofA spots there appears to be plenty of parking available on a Saturday afternoon. They do waxing and it is priced reasonably $8 eyebrow and lip $6. This is a small shop so the wax is up front in front of the window. I didn't partake but from the pedicure chairs u can see everyone going in n out. The lady who was waxing was kicking ass! Some of the best eyebrow shaping I've seen I'll def be braving the window next time to get my eyebrows done! They are also really good at accommodating there walk in even when there pretty busy so an appointment is advised but if you like me and nails have to be a spontaneous undertaking this is a great place to go without an appointment. read more

Sloppy rushed job. Why pay $28 when you can do it better yourself at home? Workers are tired, polish and nail length were uneven at the end of the whole process. Polish bubbled before I even got out and got all over the edges of cuticle. It was painful to get my cuticles trimmed because they were jabbing at my fingers and scratching my nail surface with tool. There was hardly and effort for the massage and the scrub didn't even get dead calluses off. I was rushed out the door before my nails dried. Messy job overall and I would never go back again. read more

I found this amazing and busy place on yelp! Today was my first time here and it was packed! I was willing to wait.. The staff was polite and very friendly! The prices are reasonable for the quality of work that they provide! I also am giving them kudos because they pay very close attention to detail & not once did I have to ask them to fix anything! The Manager was great, but there was a another lady who was very rude. If I could give no stars for the experience and how she treated me for speaking up about how she painted my nails, I would give zero. The lady snatched my finger twice ! So rude and unprofessional. I recommend not to spend your money with an ungrateful shop. I go to Golden Nails in DC now. read more

LOVE the massage chair, LOVE the price, love the work- but 3 stars because there's no sense of customer service here. You'd walk in and no one would acknowledge your presences, they are all busy working on the nails. Workers could be a little rude. English is definitely their second language, so don't expect that they would understand you completely. read more

A place that cuts corners…read more Came for a gel manicure, then came to remove it. Nothing went wrong with the application of the gel nails, but weeks later, I realized the gel removal was done completely wrong... I'm not someone who gets their nails done; at best, I maybe get them done once a year or two. When I came for the gel removal, the technician used a type of electric grinder to grind away the layers of the gel coating. That was it, grinding only. Like I said, I'm a nail newbie, so I thought this was maybe a new way to remove a gel set (instead of using an acetone wrap or something). When the grinding was done, the top color of the gel set was gone, but there were still patchy areas of a clear base coat (or something of the sort). I thought it was no big deal since the color that was left was clear and I figure I'd just cut my nails once they grew out. Totally wrong. After about two weeks, the remaining clear coat has now turned an ugly brown color that literally looks like my nails have been stained by shit. The kicker? I can't even paint over the ugly nails because my nails are now super brittle, frail, and sensitive; just putting a little extra pressure against my nails actually hurts. Again, I'm not someone who gets their nails done often at all, and never had any issues with brittle nails, so I think this nail damage was caused by the removal process. I don't even want to come back and ask them to remove it more thoroughly because I simply don't trust them. A quick google search enlightened me: you can use a grinder to remove the gel coating, but only so you can then apply acetone for an easier removal of the remaining gel to protect the nail quality. So based on the way the technician here removed the gel, I feel like they cut corners just to save time and didn't care about harming my nails. The only reason I didn't give this place flat out 1 star is because the gel manicure itself did last a long time (over four weeks). If you're coming here, BEWARE and call them out if you notice they're doing something wrong! Don't end up like me!

TLDR: Avoid this place!…read more I came to Sunny twice - once to get my nails done and then weeks later to get the hard gel removed. Both times I had a negative experience. I only returned the 2nd time because Sunny made a big fuss about how other nail techs don't know how to take off products carefully but she does....boy was she WRONG. Sunny is unfriendly, rude, judgemental, and likes to argue. She has been late both times to my appointments as well. I got tip extensions because I wanted a little length. She expected me to have my nails super long but I asked her to cut a lot shorter and she got mad and proceeded to argue with me. I asked her to remove the tips so I can leave, because I don't want her doing what she's not comfortable with and I don't want to get something I didn't ask for. She refused and kept arguing and then ultimately said she would do what I asked for (I sent pictures beforehand, asked questions, and she accepted my request and scheduled me). She assumed I wanted an almond shape but I told her I wanted square, and she got annoyed and mentioned most of her clients prefer almond. She's pretty rough on the hands and nails, and doesn't carefully file the nails. She charges extra for a manicure, but she literally spent a couple minutes "cleaning" my cuticles. When it came to the design, she complained about how she doesn't do "American style" and only does Asian style...and how she usually doesn't do custom nails for first-time clients. Why book me knowing what I asked for and then proceed to complain the entire time? This was the sh*ttiest nail experience. She painted my nails pretty sloppily and then complained how it took her so long to do my nails. In the end, she started rushing because she was running behind and her next appt was already waiting (she yelled at them to wait outside and stop knocking). I returned to Sunny to remove the hard gel because she knows what products she uses and repeatedly has stated in the past that she knows how to do this carefully. My natural nails had grown longer and I wanted to keep the length but they were so brittle by the end she just cut it off and then shaped it round...barely asking and confirming. She doesn't use clean or sanitized tools...and she reuses the same nail filer with all clients. She did such an awful job filing off the hard gel and got too much of my natural nails ans even left scratches and dents in my nailbed. My nails were SO sensitive and are still sensitive (writing this weeks later). When she got down to the tips, she just flicked them off with her fingers and it ended up ripping off and further damaging my nailbeds. I had to trim my nails when I got home because the new growth was so flimsy and weak. I continue to trim my nails bc my entire nail bed is overfilrd amd messed up. This is the worst state my nails have been in and I can't believe I paid $30 for someone to damage my nails. Avoid this place and give business to nail techs who actually have customer service and care about a clients' nails.
