When I called to set up the appointment, this was the soonest they could get me in - a week out. I called every day that week to see if there were any cancellations for me to get in sooner. No luck, but totally fine. The morning of my appointment, I received a voicemail at 8:04 from Laurie saying the tech did a "call out" and they wouldn't be able to see me. I called back immediately. The guy on the phone said there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to Laurie directly... he denied having a "Laurie" work at the office at all. At this point, I was very frustrated - I had already waited a week (in pain) and called every day to get in sooner. The man offered to reschedule me at the San Clemente location for the following Friday. I would have to wait another full week to get my MRI done. From a customer service standpoint, I have a few issues with the San Clemente Memorial Care Imaging Center. 1) Why do you only have one tech working to service MRI's? When people are injured or sick, they need prompt attention. To cancel a whole day's worth of MRI's because a tech called out sick isn't a smart (or ethical) business practice. 2) If I am getting notified of a cancellation 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment, I expect your front desk staff to reschedule me as soon as possible. Having to wait a full week due to an error on your part is ridiculous. As it is, I am having to drive 45 minutes from my home to visit the imaging center in Newport Beach as they were the only clinic that could get me in sooner. The San Clemente location should be doing everything in their power to get me in and make this right. I am beyond frustrated with the San Clemente Memorial Care Imaging Center.

I was repeatedly assured that I could have my MRI done in a sitting or standing position instead of lying down because of my severe vertigo and dizziness. However, when I arrived for my appointment with my sister, who came to assist me due to my condition, we waited for over an hour. During that time, we checked in several times to ask about the delay, but nothing happened. It wasn't until I told the front desk that we had been waiting for more than an hour that someone finally went to the back to investigate. Only then did the MRI technician rush out, making it clear that my appointment had been overlooked. The entire experience was disorganized, frustrating, and completely unacceptable. I ultimately scheduled an appointment with Expert MRI which has the seated MRI scanner. Based on my experience, I would not recommend scheduling with SimonMed. It appears their scheduling process relies on a third-party call center, and there seemed to be a lack of communication and understanding regarding the equipment available at different locations. I was also told by a front desk employee that the Beverly Hills location had a standing MRI scanner, but they couldn't perform the specific scan I required. That response was unhelpful, especially after everything I had already gone through. Overall, my experience with the Simon Med in San Clemente was extremely disappointing. Because of the poor communication, scheduling issues, and lack of coordination, I would not recommend this location to others.

He was able to answer all my questions and ease anxiety. The front desk team was equally impressive and efficient. Check in was a breeze. Upon arrival, show ID, provide insurance information, fill out intake paperwork, and wait for your name. Pretty standard. Inside was clean and welcoming with a big screen tv for those who are accompanying the patients. One thing to note is that if patients want to grab a cd there is a $10 charge per cd. Just fill out appropriate papers, sign some Hippa releases and the CD with imaging will be printed and the report printed for you separately after the radiologist has seen the images and made the report. Reports usually take about a week to be ready. My advice: wait out the report, come back and pay the $10 to have everything done and printed at the same time. Hot tip 2: parking is free, easy, and super accessible. The location of CVI is first floor and depending on where you park, right smack in the front of the building if parking from Los Altos/Plaza side.

When I arrived, I began removing my jacket, watch, and jewelry simply to be cooperative. Derrick immediately became confrontational and started raising his voice, saying, "I already told you that you don't need to take off your watch and ring." This was not someone being direct or having a bad day. His tone, body language, and overall demeanor were aggressive enough that the interaction felt genuinely and completely inappropriate for a healthcare setting. I walked in calm, respectful, and friendly as I always do and was treated with open hostility from the start. Patients should never be spoken to or treated this way. Professionalism and basic respect cost nothing. Update: Upon the unbelievable interaction with the tech on Friday, I spoke with Shari the patient coordinator at Crown Valley Imaging and ask for a copy of my report once it became available and it arrived today Monday. UMD has radiology facilities in Temecula and Murrieta. I had a MRI and X-ray done at their Temecula location. It was for an appointment with an orthopedic doctor I was seeing there. Staff was friendly, helpful, organized, no hassles--what a breath of fresh air compared to Radnet! They have recently opened up for outside referrals. So, I scheduled an appointment with them for an annual preventative CT scan at this location in Murrieta. This location has been opened since November. It's brand spanking new with a state of the art CT machine. They are working to build up a clientele. Please check them out!

I usually do a different one, a 3T machine that is more detailed or an option of an open MRI . Those go to Irvine . For here, if you need a straightforward MRI machine and you can do a closed one then this is your place . It's a good location if you want to do something quick. Easy , free parking. Look for the sign , its building A, so you have to walk around a bit to find it. This location Has been here a few years according to the front desk and from the looks of it , not very busy.
