Food is good but is not cheap as advertised. Fairly expensive considering portion size and that it is breakfast food. Overall quality is very good, I was forced to come along with the idea of it being a cheap spot. Was really wanting Chinese buffet and the whole time the only thing I could think about was eating a big plate of noodles while I was waiting for a table. The wait wasn't bad, seated pretty quickly considering how busy it was. It's a fantastic place if you're willing to pay 10 to 12 dollars for brunch. Overall a really great place, coffee bar is nice. After a long day of swimming I wanted a mid afternoon protein snack. Just something quick to get me through until dinner. I figured I would hit this breakfast spot for some eggs and be on my way. Came in to really welcoming service (kids got to pick their plastic silverware color and color all over the paper table covering). I start looking at the menu and there is no breakfast. They recently started a dinner and it was late enough to be dinner time (my guess is they weren't even open before at this time) So, now I have dinnertime prices on my hands and the kids are now picking the food and I am in it. I call my husband for early dinner. My Tacos came and although they were tiny-they were delicious. I mean delicious. This place isn't Mexican but could have fooled me. I haven't enjoyed a taco this much since Tampa. Kids loved their food. Husbands Ruben was fantastic. Kids are begging to go back. We had the apple pie and the strawberry cheesecake (specials) while we were there and they were fantastic. I took home scones and they were good, but maybe a little too sweet for me. All in all, I loved this whole experience. read more

Just tried Rad's for the first time. SO GOOD! Def a new fav brunch spot! Omelet was fresh and wonderful! Greens and hash were amazing. My Dad tried the Ruben sandwich. My Mom stole a bite. They both rated it one of the best they have had. Decor and everything was cozy. Great service. We learned they serve dinner on Friday nights and everything sounded amazing. The avocado toast was a failed attempt to appease to "millennials", though the dinning crowd was much older. I don't know what went wrong, but biscuit and gravy was sweet, not savory. Hash brown was cooked into a spilled bucket shape, so it's basically a giant tater tot. Nothing tasted like anything. The club is THEE BEST sandwich around. The staff is so nice and friendly. He went out of his way to brew me a fresh cup of my favorite snickerdoodle coffee since it was out, then told me to take an extra cup home! I was debating on giving this place three or four stars, but I decided on four. I came here for a post-Christmas brunch with a friend from high school and enjoyed myself for the most part. The self serve coffee station was nice; I loved the snickerdoodle coffee! My friend enjoyed the dark roast with minimal cream and sugar (New Yorkers, man) and liked it as well. Food wise, she got some avocado toast and liked it. I got their smoothie bowl which was pretty good, but a little lukewarm. I was hoping for it to be chilled, but it almost seemed like soup. It was yummy and fresh, I just think it had been sitting out for a bit. Atmosphere was decent, and prices were pretty typical for a brunch joint in Carmel. This is a small thing, but I didn't like the paper table clothes. That wouldn't stop me from going back, though. Rad's is a great local staple for the east side of Carmel. Give it a visit! read more

Excellent service and food. First visit today - I had the corned beef hash and eggs. All made onsite and cooked perfectly to my request. Kinda of an upscale diner look inside. Bright, clean, and wonderful coffee served in mugs that really hold the heat. Will definitely return. read more

I have been to Rad's twice now, and am a huge fan! The avocado toast is a blend of wonderful flavors. I substituted the chorizo for crispy bacon and it was delicious. It is one of the few places where scones are offered. Try the cranberry orange. Friendly staff and as mentioned by others, super clean. If you love breakfast, you need to check out Rad's. read more

Absolutely incredible! My wife, son and I have been there a handful of times. It has become a "must visit" place for us when we are visiting my family in Carmel. The servers are extremely knowledgeable of the menu and will never lead you wrong if you ask for suggestions! The pork belly sausage and gravy biscuits is my personal favorite or the avocado toast a close second. Always check the chalkboard too for the days special! Going back to the servers and managers... All of them are incredible! Everyone is extremely friendly and nice! One thing I forgot to mention, they are kid friendly! Tables have white paper on them and they provide really cool crayons that expand and retract into a plastic grip. Our son loves the fact the server will always try to play a quick game of tic-tac-toe with him. We do have to remind him we aren't the only people in the restaurant though, or he would hijack the sever! I give them 5 out of 5 without hesitation!!! read more

Yummers! Had the Street Tacos made with Adobo braised beef. Tender, flavorful shredded beef topped with Pico and Avocado, served on corn tortilla. Perfect bites, accompanied by the Ham & Bean soup... which needs to be called something WAY better than "just" Ham & Bean. It is more like a cross between Ranchero Beans and Boraccho Beans. The chef uses his own secret spice blend that lends a wonderful under current of flavor that I dare you to try and figure out what it is. They are so good they could seriously become addictive. Hi I am 9 years old I thought that RADS was the best restaurant I have ever tasted. I got Mac & cheese it was the best Mac & cheese in the world. One time I got confetti pancakes and that were awesome RADS deserts are also really good. The kids meals are a good amount that will fill you up. I think that everyone could enjoy this restaurant. I would give this restaurant more stars if I could. read more

Happy to have breakfast in my boyfriend's neighborhood again, as we used to frequent the Patachou that occupied Rad's before. Staff was attentive and could tell something wasn't right as I cut into my omelette. I like my omelettes well done, and this was a tad runny; however, my boyfriend loves runny omelettes/eggs, and he said it looked perfect (he told me to clarify, as he thinks most people do love runny eggs). I explained to our server, and without hesitation, he quickly offered to take it back and cook it longer for me-just the way I like it! It was tasty; however, I realized it was not what I ordered. I ordered an omelette w/peppers, tomato, & bacon. I was eating an omelette w/peppers and sausage. My boyfriend was laughing bc he knows I despise brkfst sausage. At this point, I was so hungry I ate it anyways, and it was smaller sausage chunks, so I didn't mind too much. I was sad tho bc I do love bacon! I will have to try again next time. This was partially why I couldn't leave a 5 star review. My other suggestion would be to acknowledge everyone as they walk in, or have a sign that says "please seat yourself"...we were a little confused when we walked in as all servers were busy, so we patiently waited for a server to offer us a seat. Overall, we will be back, as I would like to try an omelette with peppers, tomato, & bacon. My boyfriend wanted me to mention that he really enjoyed their biscuits & gravy. read more
