Garlic Cheese Bread with Marinara and Garlic butter

Rico's is a smaller restaurant with a diner kind of vibe and has about 20-30 tables/booths. They also have a bar with food service. For those of you who pick your restaurants based on pop, they serve Coke and Northwoods. The menu is expansive ranging from appetizers, boasted chicken, a salad bar, Mexican, burgers/sandwiches and pizza. I did not upload pics of the menu bc their entire menu is available on their website. The staff is friendly and attentive. We arrived and every table in the place was full but was still seated within 15 mins. The food came out quickly after ordering. We got the garlic cheese bread as an appetizer, and the Broasted Chicken and a Small Pepperoni Pan Pizza as entrees. Everything was delicious and incredibly reasonably priced for the portions. Ambience inside is a little dated and while the tables/floors are clean, the decor on the walls could use some attention. Otherwise, Rico's is a great local place and I'd recommend it if you're in the area.

We were in traverse city for a few days and we were able to eat there twice! First trip was pizza and beer! Great food and the beer was served in a cold mug 25oz. The second trip was the white fish served on a plank. Delicious The other dish was b roasted chicken dinner, salad bar, tortilla soup (homemade), and cobbler for dessert! Wait staff is terrific and very friendly. We have found our place to eat when we visit this area again.

Bloody Mary-- I've tried them at many other places, expecting them to taste like Rico's, but none ever does

I hesitate to explain how much we love Rico's, because it's already a well-known and well-loved restaurant. Their food is fantastic, their servers bustle with smiles and courtesy through the crowded dining room, and they serve breakfast late enough that we can go after church and be assured that their unforgettable stuffed hash browns are still on the menu! Although it's rare to see an empty table, the atmosphere is peaceful, with good jams going in the background. Rico's values veterans, good food for a great price, and no shortcuts taken on the menu items or cocktails. There might be a wait, but you'll be glad you were patient!

Very nice atmosphere. Quaint. Staff is super nice super friendly. Very helpful!! The menu is a lot of choices. They are open for breakfast lunch and dinner. Food is amazing. All kinds of great tastes and flavors. Something for everyone. Can't wait to bring my friends here. They do have a weekly specials another words every day of the week is some special entrée. And then they have a monthly specials. They host all kinds of different ethnic groups. Polish Italian Mexican German and so forth. Homemade soups, along with the menu. Full bar, casual dining. They also have local wines siders and beer. They have a very nice extensive beverage list. !!! Yummy coming in enjoy I promise you will enjoy the experience. Unless you're just a cranky person.

Located right off US 31, Rico's is a small restaurant that has a great small town feel. Walking in, the entire place is small but full of delicious smells from the kitchen. Servers & staff are friendly & I was greeted warmly when I walked up to the bar for our pick up order. Our pizza was flavorful, the red sauce just right & we loved the option of adding broccoli that added a slightly charred flavor to go well with the cheese. The crust was the right amount of crisp & chewy too. Overall a really nice place to stop for lunch & dinner that's not part of the main drag of Traverse City. Just the type of place we enjoy when traveling!

Not a fan. Service was good but food reminded me of Stuckys on route 40 back in the 80s. Felt like an old bar in the 1970s.

This is a pretty common stop when in the area never had a bad meal with decent portions of food. Service has always been above par.

Got the broasted chicken special. It was possibly the worst chicken I've ever had. Very overcooked and dry as sawdust.

Great burger and fries, at a great price. Friendly service. A bit of a dive, but don't let that stop you .

Great food. Pizza ingredients are fresh. When I stay at our cottage on Duck Lake, many of my meals have come from here!

The stuffed hash browns are terrific and worth going by themselves. Had a great omelet as well. Nice service.

Got pizza here last week after swimming with my family. Workers were friendly and the pizza was the best I've had in Traverse City.
