This is like the back bar area of the Social Restaurant, which has like bowling, adult games etc. This would be a great place for large groups, loud families etc. Not so much a kids place but during the day there were kids with their family not just in the adults "play area" Waitress was great and they had Lamarca Prosecco which was perfect! We came to visit agave on a Friday night after doing a little bit of shopping at Victoria Gardens. It's located across the street from the theater. For starters, we loved the service & the ambience of the place. It's a great place to chill & socialize w one another. My husband had tacos de chorizo which he rated 10/10 I had tostadas de tinga which were 10/10 best tostada de tinga I've had. I also tried the mushroom mole tostadas, which I was very curious about, I feel they would have been great if they weren't so salty. I took 1 bite & could not finish the rest. I did mention to the person attending us & they were kind enough not charge us for that order. This place is inside of the Punch bowl so your GPS is not wrong when it tells you that you have arrived and you don't visualize it. Its located in the very back past the punch bowls check in area. If your looking to come eat here like I was, there is not a lot of food selections. I believe this is mostly a lounge type of place with small bites, and a good selection of flights and cocktails. None the less, The atmosphere was very aesthetically pleasing. definitely Instagram foto worthy. They also have some really interesting flights. I decided to try the Patron flight and I wish I didn't lol. It was way too much for me. Such a cute and aesthetic restaurant! It's connected to Punch Bowl Social. We ordered the ahi tuna, the pollo tostada, and the cheese dip dish with tortillas (I forget the actual name of the dish, but the server recommended it). I loved everything we ordered, except the tostada. It just wasn't anything special and it was messy to eat. The ahi tuna definitely had a small kick of spice, but it was delicious. It has its own entrance if you want to feel like you've entered a stand-alone bar but you can walk over to the main punch bowl restaurant area once inside. This mezcal and tequila bar is a little haven behind Punch Bowl Social and ever since discovering it I can never go back to PBS. The staff are super friendly and remember you when you come back. I love their espresso martinis and their mezcal flights. The lobster tostadas and the fideos were incredible! The staff were also super accommodating to my fiancé's onion allergy and made sure we had access to the full menu, which is HUGE for us. The Chicano vibe made it perfect for family and friends alike. Plus they do tequila and mezcal tasting events every few weeks so I get to try alcohol in a whole new way at each event. This is our new go to bar! read more

New place in the back of Punch Bowl social. Came here on a Saturday night with reservations. Most of the tables are high top, but there are a few booths- cute bar area. And the music here is quite loud, probably not a good place for a first date, but better for a girls night out or for a group of friends. Service started off great, but we got less and less attention as the night went on. It took almost 30 minutes if not a little more to get the drinks we ordered, but the food came out even before the drinks. My friend and I ordered the prickly pear margarita, and a Michelada. Michelada was all right. It definitely was better because the waitress suggested that I make it a bit spicier since the main complaint is that it has a tomato soup taste. Finally after 30 minutes, we followed up on our drinks just for the waitress to tell me there was no more Modelo Which was a bit irritating that I had to follow up for her to tell me that. Food here is mostly all appetizers or shareable plates so don't expect to get a heavy dinner. There's probably 10 different appetizers on the menu and we tried about six of them. The best one probably was the lobster tostada, but it wasn't super memorable. All in all it was nice to try it but I don't think this will become one of my go to spots. read more

This review is based on a monetary disappointment, based mostly on the final bill of the night. 1. I was Meeting up for a first date. And surprisingly, the location was quaint and part of a larger restaurant complex. 2. The small complaint would be that it was a cold night, and the staff decided to open the large window's, as refreshing as that sounds, it got cold quickly. 3. The food, the ambiance, the drinks, the people and the staff were all fantastic. 4. The entire night, the location provided a great sense of liveliness and fun. 5. My complaint. My bill was 70 ish dollars. And i leave a 10% to 15% tip in almost all occasions, unless the service is bad. My card wasn't fully charged until 3 day later and the bill came to 110$. Even my credit card company said it was out of tune... being I have never offered a 38% percent tip??? can't find my receipt in which I wrote a copy of the figures. * lesson, always take a picture of your receipt, I don't like to blame the staff for any mathematical errors, but I don't recall giving a waitress a 40$ dollar tip. Beware, and check you receipts. read more

5 star service from Maggie. She was amazing! The menu is TINY in regard to food but wow they play to Their strengths! The lobster tostada was so well seasoned! The flavors and the lobster was cooked to perfection. The portion is tricky because it looks small but is FILLING. We both had a hard time finishing all of the food (3 tostadas each). The chicken tinga has a nice kick to it as well as great flavoring. The guac was solid and the chips are heavy duty. I personally didn't like the queso but it wasn't "bad". For dessert we had the chocolate truffles and they are indeed dense and decadent. The pineapple fizz was good as well as the strawberry agua Fresca. The prickly pear margarita was GROSS. There was supposed to be an "almond milk foam" on top but the bartender made the foam into a "milky pudding" and it was disgusting. Maggie made it right for me!
