I had a great shopping experience here in the summer of 2022. I was looking for a new dress for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The sales associate asked me what I was looking for and he pulled out some dresses from the back that weren't on the floor yet. He was also able to guess my size! H paired the dress with a set of heels and I was in business. The dress fit perfectly and is perfect for the occasion. I was able to be in and out quickly without trying on a bunch of clothes. I also later on had a spaghetti strap stitching come undone. I sent it in for repair which can take up to 6 weeks. It took only three. In a lot of the reviews customers aren't asking for what they need. All you need to do is ask and you'll have a great experience! read more

This store: 1 star Corporate: 5 stars I bought a pair of their jeans from Bloomingdale's and they developed a small hole. I thought it wouldn't be a big deal at all to take them into the store for repair since Bloomingdale's closed. The guy who waited on me with complete disdain told me that he couldn't get them repaired because they were "too old" after I handed him a copy of my receipt. I said that I had reviewed their website and there was no time limit. The jeans were about 2.5 years old. He refused to take them and said I'd have to contact corporate for assistance because those were the "guidelines received from corporate." Honestly, how big of a deal is it to repair a hole that is the size of a dime? These jeans are not cheap. He was just being obstinate. I did contact corporate, send them photos as per their request, and they promptly gave me a store credit equaling the price I paid. I sent the jeans back to them. I wasted so much time and effort trying to get the store to assist me. Never again. My brand new jeans arrived from corporate and they are perfect. read more

My friend and I were doing a little shopping on Fillmore on Monday and decided to stop into Rag & Bone. I've always liked their style--it's so similar with a lot of the other shops in Pacific Heights, but Monday was really disappointing. The moment we walked in, a salesperson immediately asked if we were looking for something specific. Fair enough, but then he proceeded to shadow us through the store, commenting on nearly everything we glanced at--"Oh, the Miramar collection is to die for," and so on. It felt less like helpful attention and more like being watched. As we were about to leave, yet another salesperson asked if we needed anything. There were about five employees in this relatively small space on a quiet Monday, and the overly intense presence honestly made us uncomfortable. It felt like overkill. I love their jeans! The jean recycling program is great and eco-friendly. What is not friendly was their staff. In the past, the service was okay, lukewarm at best. The last couple of times(went 2 weekends in a row because I was scouting to see if they have any sales), and the sales associates just couldn't be bothered. Why should they get sales commission for doing absolutely nothing? I found the wash I wanted, I found my size, and I had to look for a sales associate to get a fitting room. Unfortunately, this has been the level of service at this location (and other clothing stores on the same block). If not the for the recycling program, I would not be back. read more

Honestly, after reading many of the reviews here on Yelp, I was pretty afraid to go into the store with a return of an item I had purchased online. After reading the reviews, I expected the worst and hoped for the best. It was busy Saturday night in early January 2026. I walked in and smiled and admired how beautiful the store was two of the staff smiled and said hello. I went right up to a the woman who was smiling. Her name happened to be Mel. Mel was incredibly helpful with me. She did not give me any trouble with the return (I had all paperwork, tags and original packaging) and she was very accommodating with a finding a replacement, bringing me multiple sizes and consulting with me as I asked her about other lines. I had a fantastic & efficient experience at Rag And Bone on Fillmore. Mel was busy, but she didn't make me feel like I was i I interrupting her. She made my experience a priority and it was clear that she did that even though she had a lot of demands at the same time. Thank you Mel for your hard work & your fantastic customer service! There was some of the worst sales associates I have ever witnessed. Two men were literally lying all over the couches complaining about their lives for almost the entire visit. They truly acted like couldn't be LESS interested in working. I didn't even know they worked there! Luckily, there was one associate that helped us out and was actually working. Of all the customer experiences I've had, shopping at the San Francisco Rag & Bone was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, the visit was unpleasant, unfriendly, and unproductive. When my friend and I walked into the store, the three "sales?" persons were too busy talking at the cash register to greet us. After I handed 2 pair of jeans to one of them to put in a fitting room for me, I told her exactly what I was looking for. The jeans didn't work. Once again, all three were too busy talking and laughing at the cash register to even offer to put the jeans away for me. Frustrated, I pulled up the website and brought up a pair and looked for the jeans in the store. Eventually(after rummaging through the jeans for 5 min), the "sales?" woman asked me if I needed help. I showed her the jeans and she said, "Oh, those are in the back." I WAS ABOUT TO WALK OUT OF THE STORE. The jeans were just what I described from the beginning. They fit perfectly. I then spent 5min looking for ANY other store that carried the jeans. The idea of giving this "sales?" woman or the Rag & Bone SF Fillmore store my money was sickening. No department store had the wash I wanted, so I bought the jeans. As she wiped my card, she then asked me what I was looking for. She then CRAMMED the jeans into the SMALLEST T-shirt bag they had. (Please see photo.) I love the brand. That day I was wearing new Rag & Bone jeans and a t-shirt. No one who works in the Fillmore store is interested in selling anything. I'm not sure whether they are paid a high hourly rate and don't care to sell, or if they're just hungover. I'm very tempted to return the jeans and buy them online Rag-Bone.com. We walked 27 min to be mistreated and spend $200. Store: 216 Cashier: 679 in her defense, she was no more terrible or apathetic than the others in the store. Beautiful store. It's a bit intimidating to be honest walking in this particular store as it seems more like you're walking into a showroom versus a place where you can actually buy items. The employees here seem a bit frosty, not one person said hello to us as we browsed. We ended up not buying anything during this trip. Was so excited to see that this store opened since it's only 3 blocks from my place. I've always wanted to try Rag and Bone jeans and boots since a lot of celebrities are wearing this stuff. Now, I understand why....comfy and stylish. It was my first time trying anything. Leo was the BEST. He spent almost 2 hours with me finding the perfect boot and jeans (style and fit). The boots are to die for. They are so comfortable and stylish. They are pricey but worth it. Also got a pair of the mesh boot/sandals too. They really didn't look like much on the shelf but were very edgy and stylish....even a girl shopping in the store was nodding her head that I had to buy them. Seriously, I must have tried on at least 20 pair of jeans. Leo was extremely knowledgeable about the proper fit on my body and all the styles they carried and how they break in. He also made suggestions on what to wear with and how to wear each style of jean. The jeans fit like a glove, made me look lean, and my butt looks pretty good (a friend told me this). I purchased 2 pairs of jeans but loved about 5 of them. I'll buy more boots and jeans later since I need to pace myself or I'll be broke. If you stop by, def ask for Leo. He said people also made appointments with him too. Highly recommend making an appointment with Leo. Finding the perfect pair of jeans is always challenging. If you are spending $200 for a pair a jeans, def best to have the expert find you the perfect fit. read more

The store has a nice feeling when you walk in (inviting). It is nice to see that they have their own shop on the west coast. It is well designed and on a wonderful street filled with many desireable shops and a few cool eateries. It's nice to blend some Rag & Bone into your wardrobe. They have classic clothes and the not so classic showing the R & B design influence, but all are beautiful; you.re either an R&B fan or not. Their accessories definately deserve a look-see as well; hats, scarves, jewelry, purses, sunglasses..etc. Whether you will buy or not, it's worth a peek. Yeah! When I heard Rag & Bone was finally opening a store in San Francisco I couldn't wait to come in and experience it in person, instead of my usual online purchases, or in upscale department stores like Nordstom & Saks Fifth Avenue. A nice modern look to it, with concrete walls & exposed wood, beautiful glass store front with the simple black "Rag & Bone" signage. Also, complimentary mini waters with their name on it as well. I love everything Rag & Bone, so everything was perfect to me. The service was wonderful as well, Leo helped me pick out a pair of jeans I wouldn't have picked for myself, he helped me "style" them several different ways with their "booties". In addition, he brought out a few sleeveless tops from the back that were on sale and not out front. I ended up purchasing the jeans & three tops. He also included his business card, along with an email, should I need further assistance with anything Rag & Bone. Love this store, love the brand, and happy with their excellent customer service. I purchased a denim jacket and later accidentally created a small tear in a seam (truly my own fault, the jacket was excellent quality). I brought it back to the store to see if it could be repaired. One of the sales associates arranged to have it sent to their tailor. A few days later, I received a call from the store offering to give me an entirely new denim jacket, free of charge. I can't believe I didn't know/realize a rag and bone store was opening in the city, let alone NORTHERN CALIFORNIA! I was waking down Fillmore when I spotted the oh-so-familiar rag and bone lettering and almost stopped my sister dead in our tracks. "WHAT?!" I excitedly gasped. My heartbeat quickened as we approached. YES, it was real! Coming into this store was literally the highlight of my weekend. Maybe that's sad to some, but if you came looking for information on the new rag and bone store in SF by reading this review, you can relate. Rag and bone is hands down, one of my favorite clothing lines. I only wish my income allowed me to buy everything. Purchasing rag and bone online is one thing, but actually visiting the store and seeing the pieces delicately laid out and perfectly draped on wooden hangers is a whole other experience. This location is no exception. It's not as big as other rag and bone stores, but it has a little bit of everything. The dressing rooms are perfection, huge spaces that even include iPhone chargers! The service is outstanding. Every single person was cheerful, knowledgeable (shout out to Jenee! you are awesome, thank you!), and incredibly patient and helpful. You don't get a pretentious vibe from anyone. I happily skipped away with a new fedora hat and already planning my next return trip (post payday of course)! :) Do yourself (and wardrobe) a favor and stop by! read more
