This is such a fun and clean, family oriented place. The atmosphere and Nicole are a delight. This is a place for anyone or any group to go and have a fun and active time. Children are welcome.

    What a combination!

Although my axe throwing skills are one star this place rates a five stars! This was the perfect recreational activity for our family as we were out of town guests and turned on to a new activity--axe throwing. Ages 10-58 enjoyed the hour of axe throwing. Our competitive sides were in full swing. Jeremy was our encouraging coach and although I never got the hang of it, he worked with us and everyone did hit the target. It's totally up to you how you want to spend your time. We practiced for a bit, then kept score, toward the end of our time we were even invited to use two lanes instead of one. There were five of us. It seems safe enough, with solid rules in place. All ages are welcome. You will need to sign a waiver prior to participating. There is a full bar available. A draft Miller Lite was $4. Cans of craft beer were $5. Soda $2. I am pleased to support a locally owned business, especially when a US veteran owns it.

Went with my boyfriend on a Sunday and it was empty (which was a surprise!). The customer service and checking on us during our hour of throwing was 10/10! Nicole, I believe, was so sweet and happy to give us tips on throwing and even let me use her lucky axe ! The drinks were also really good!

Only picture I got this time because we were too busy having fun to worry with our phones!

Absolutely love this place! The staff is so nice and helpful. They teach you how to throw and give you pointers on how to make it spin different. The people at the Bar is always super helpful and if they have never made your drink before instead of saying sorry we don't have that they offer to try and make it and let you tell them the ingredients and if they have the supplies they will whipped it right up for you!

At the other one I've been to, we got protective boots to wear, a jumpsuit, hard hat, gloves and a full face mask. Here we got those things except a full face mask and boots. They have regular goggles and you wore your own shoes. I wore tennis shoes because I thought we would be switching out shoes for protective boots. I was wrong. I had to watch everywhere I stepped to make sure I didn't step on shards of glass and a few times, small fragments of glass flew in my face. I left with a small scratch on my forehead and small shards in my hairline. It's like they went under the hard hat. We spent five plus minutes in the parking lot afterwards, trying to remove glass from our shoes and hairlines. We got a private room, which was nice versus sharing with strangers. The room came with a Bluetooth compatible speaker for your personal playlist but it sounded very staticy and the connection kept dropping. While I appreciated this option over them playing whatever songs they wanted overhead, this made me made and I couldn't release my anger and frustrations properly out of fear of stepping on glass or getting hit in my face with it. I had to stop raging every five minutes to turn back on the Bluetooth speaker and to recalibrate it. I don't think I'll come back to this one.

Ambiance: 5/5 Very light and bright enjoyable ambiance. Cool commercial space with plenty of lanes. They also have several other parlor games set up that we had a lot of fun with. They also have local craft beers available for purchase. They do not have food here, however there are several food places in the immediate area. Games: 5/5 They have different spots on the targets and cards on the tables with various instructions for different games you can play in your axe lane. They also have leagues you can sign up for if you want to play competitively on a regular basis. Price: 5/5 The prices seemed pretty reasonable for an experience like this. I'm not sure how it compares to similar venues. The beers were $6-8, and we paid $17.50 per person/hour to throw axes. We went on a Thursday afternoon. Overall we had a great time and this is a great idea for a party, hangout or team building event. If you Lee in the area, come check it out!

We got 2 buckets of breakable/shatterable items which was definitely the most satisfying part of the experience. However, there aren't too many items after the shatterables that have the same satisfaction -- many already broken appliances (i.e. rice cooker, TV, keyboards). Service: The woman who helped us was very nice and efficient in explaining the standards, our time, and helping us set up our music on the speaker! We called ahead to reserve a spot, and when we arrived, the guy working acted like he had no idea who we were or why we were there. The guy working was also cleaning multiple guns when we walked in, which was very weird and unprofessional. Not to mention it was a riffle- right in the middle of the business?!?! He then gave us lackluster instructions about "safety" and the room. The "safety briefing" was rushed and careless, like they couldn't be bothered. The room itself was tiny and could barely fit two people, let alone 5-6 people. All that you are given is a bucket full of glass that you go through in about 15 min (as two people). For the price, I expected a lot more variety and quantity.

Boys' night out, so we thought that we'd try some manly stuff and throw a few deadly weapons…read moreagainst the wall. What better place to unleash the mayhem than at Faxons. They sanction the controlled chaos, and on top of that, they serve beer! Putting axes in the hands of beer guzzling lumberjack wannabes sounds like a recipe for disaster. But to their credit, Faxons keep a close eye on their patrons. They'll even help with your technique. That's throwing technique. You're on your own with how you tip your glasses. You'll have your choice on who or what to chop up. You can toss a blade into the skull of a zombie or something more woodsy like a duck. You won't even need a hunting license. Just have your significant other fill out the permission slip (aka the waiver) so that you can participate in the carnage. If an axe is a little too extreme, you can try your hand at tossing a different dangerous projectile. They have a couple of dart boards just waiting for you to pierce their numbers. They come complete with chalkboard so that you can keep tally of how many holes you make. I'm guessing they'd prefer the holes in the boards rather than the wall. It's a family-friendly place for all you 12 and olders. That is if your family doesn't lean pacifist. Quick Tip: I wouldn't recommend wearing open toed shoes. There's always the chance of the beer that's lubricating your inside, finding its way onto the axe handle and making it as loose as you. But as I mentioned earlier, Faxons keeps a close eye on the proceedings. You should be able to make your way out with all your appendages still intact. And maybe even a few extra if you're seeing double after swilling down a few.
