Olivia is a kind teacher, a great explainer, and an all-around nice person who made me and my friends feel very welcomed and supported--especially important when you're trying something you've never done before. Having taken several of these sorts of intro classes elsewhere, I'm always a bit disappointed: most classes have you make an object that feels pretty unimpressive or uninteresting. Not so here: the really cute stained-glass star ornament is now a permanent fixture on my window. Amazingly, after one session I also genuinely think that I could make some rudimentary pieces on my own (again, very rare for this sort of class), and that's a testament to how good an explainer Olivia is. Took my kiddos to Celtic Axe Throwers. We arrived a bit early, per their instructions, so there was…read morea wait. In the meantime, we ordered food, which we were able to order and pay using our phones. The food was then delivered to us from the restaurant upstairs. Once it was our turn for Axe Throwing, the employee explained the rules and for four people we had two lanes. My kiddos of varying ages all had so much fun. Afterward, the employee offered to take pictures of us, which I appreciated. We had a great experience and found them on Groupon, so we will eventually be going again and I can't wait!
