This food definitely satisfied our spicy soup craving we had one day. NOT AYCE but we had a good meal. Definitely a worthy spot if you're craving soup on a long drive.

As always!! An excellent meal! I love soup! They have an amazing variety of soup options and their Pho Soup is bomb! Amazing flavors! And I always throw in the sides-bean sprouts, basil and jalapeno! Also I opt for the rice noodles in my soup! Services is ALWAYS excellent! Hannah was our server and she was so sweet and attentive throughout our meal! Thanks so much!! And...We never have to wait too long for our food.

    Spicy Edamame . Delicious!

First time at Ragin Pot! The ramen was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of broth and noodles. The edamame was fresh and seasoned just right. Good service and a cozy atmosphere.

Wow this was so good! We have picked it up twice and both times we enjoyed it very much. I like the mixture of vegetables for the vegetarian course option. The are so friendly while placing phone orders and when we have gone in for pick up.

I had been wanting to try this place for a long time. I don't have anything to compare it to since it was my first time trying hot pot. It was super delicious. We also got some Ragin fries as an appetizer with their spicy sauce. They were crispy and fresh. I liked using the spicy sauce with the hot pot, it added extra flavor and spice. We also got the soju capri mixers, so good! I would definitely come here again!

We visited with friends at this restaurant because it has been a few years since I'd visited. The food was so good! Everyone was happy with their food and we got try to Dubai chocolate made by the owner, too! The restaurant is nice inside and fun to visit and we also got entertained by the owner's daughter.

I have ate at ragin crawfish and had drinks at ragin boba. All great. First time at ragin pot and I was so excited as I have had great experiences at other locations. Service is slow here, but it's also slow at ragin crawfish. I got the seafood with tom yum in medium spice. The description says "clamS" I got ONE clam. The only other hot pot place I have been to has been tasty pot, tasty pot is the same price and I always get more than one clam and plenty of baby octopus, (which I prefer). Tasty pot is the same price and a much bigger size.

I ordered the military stew and it was delicious! Very unique and well made. The ambiance of the restaurant is warming and you get a warm family feeling like you're sitting in someone's home to a certain extent. The waitress was friendly and checked up on us constantly. A nice plus is that they sell Asian snacks in the back, which makes as a cool take home goodie after a delicious meal. Two thumbs up!!

First time here and super happy. Didnt know there was a hot pot spot nearby! I had the veggie and my bf had lamb hot pot and both loved. The chili oil is really good also haha. Super local and family owned which makes me even more excited about this place. Will be back soon.

Does the hot pot come out already in the broth? Only shabu I've ever had all the meats and veggies were on a side plate and we are able to put them in the broth as we like

We ordered 3 different types of hot pot and they were each brought to our table with the meat and veggies already in the broth. The pot is sitting on top of a small sterno-like source of fire that can be turned off if broth becomes too hot. Very…

With the cyclospora in mind, Chinese food seems like the safest bet. This place feels like a hole…read morein the wall type of restaurant. There were a couple couples that look like they're on dates. Service is really good here. And we ordered all the food we wanted to try. It seems like they tried to limit the chances of the cyclospora parasite since no one has a definite source yet (Mongolian beef usually has raw green onions but they subbed wok fired yellow onions). But some stuff they kept the cilantro and green onions (bc they were cold dishes) The pan fried dumpling would have been good if it didn't have so much Ginger.. I'm not too into Ginger but the dumpling was nice because it had the juice inside of it and the texture was nice The refreshing woodear is a cold dish that has a chewy/crunchy texture. The soy sauce/vinegar flavor makes it refreshing when the other foods get heavy. Spicy beef slices were not that bad, but I prefer more of the spicy szechuan flavor (numbing/tingly feeling). The cilantro and green onions also provided good flavor The beef and onion pancake reminded me of mushu beef, it had the same wrap, hoision sauce flavor with meat and veggies-green onions. It also had good amount of meat Hunan beef was ok but wife enjoyed it. Wife's cooking prepared me for the peppers...is it a jalapeno or a green pepper...Russian roulette if you can't handle spicy. The Mongolian beef had reg onions instead of the green onions. Lots of onions..but I can't be mad bc the onions had the wok fire flavor, which I enjoy and not many places do it. The spicy eggplant with hot garlic sauce had lots of woodears, the eggplant was a little more on the sweet side, and the eggplant had a little bit of a crispyness to it. The salt and pepper shrimp almost reminded me of fried cake batter. It had some sweetness to it so it confused me cuz I was expecting something savory. At the end of the meal we had our fortune cookie, which seemed like it was more of an ad than a fortune.. sneaky Fortune Cookie company. Overall this place was pretty good and worth trying, especially since they have great service

Well indeed it's really good. Pack with flavor not spicy but just enough kick. Very well. Now, this place has the best Dandan noodle, even better than the one in Monterey Park or Alhambra. Best part is, its even good when it's cold. Garlic pork ribs. I was thinking like a riblets but it's more like garlic fried pork chop. Not what I expected but it's delicious. Fried pork dumpling. The meat inside is very succulent. Thumbs up. Can't skipped the XLB. I must say that the staff are very hard working and efficient. Thanks. Will be back soon.

Asians in ventura county know hot pot options are slim pickings. AYCE hotpot? A first that im aware of (tasty used to be preset bowls) Loved being able to choose different broths and put whatever noodles, veggies, fish balls, tofu, etc in my pot. Staff friendly, clean restaurant. Who doesn't love AYCE hotpot? My only con is the pots used to cook your items arent very fast. The fire will die and youll need an employee to start it up. Id be cautious of ordering chicken or youll sit there for at least 10 minutes making sure its cooked all the way. If tasty pot can fix this, I think it'll improve the overall experience. I still love the overall experience and will be back multiple times this year. Side note - People used to 626 or OC ayce hot pot may be a little disappointed (no free drinks or hot food bar).

The server was attentive as well.

They will even give you lots of extra napkins without prompting. I can honestly say I have never experienced that. Moreover, they offer complimentary aprons, hair ties, phone covers, and lens cleaners for all of their guests! The ambiance was very nice. It is very clean and chic. Unfortunately, the ambiance can get overstimulating. Because of the live noodle dances, the music can get loud and it is difficult to communicate with the staff. Moreover, the unlimited seasoning and snack bar is placed in a less-than convenient spot. There is very little space for people to wait for their turn, and it gets even more cramped when there are servers and the robot moving around to cater to tables. The robot also ran into me while I was standing at the snack bar (no injury but it was awkward and cramped!) Lastly, the food has its high and low points for me. To put it simply, I believe this is a restaurant that incorporates the ambiance into the pricing- it is expensive! I went with my girlfriend and spent a little under $200 for our dinner (tip included). We ordered 3 cuts of meat, a few sides, and 2 broths. The meats were of great quality. Unfortunately you're playing $20+ for a single tray of about 10 thin slices of meat so it quickly adds up! The broth was the low point in my opinion. Let's just say the unlimited sauce/seasoning bar is a MUST for you to have a satisfying flavor. Moreover, they re-fill the broth with some type of broth water that isn't seasoned like the broth they bring you at the beginning. They essentially water-down your broth when they refill. For reference, my spicy pork broth was yellow-orange yet the refill was white and cloudy. The difference in color and flavor was night and day! I have only been to one other hot pot place and it was a better overall experience for a fraction of the price! Overall 3/5. To sum it up, upper scale ambiance and meat quality, but I value all you can eat meat over higher quality meat. The broth should be the selling point but it just falls short. The setting can be loud and overstimulating. Personally I would rather spend 35 dollars a person on all you can eat hot pot than this fancier spot. The servers are the star of the restaurant without a doubt.
