Quick Sunday lunch for a family of 3! First the service was great. Kindly greeted and accommodated. It's obviously a family ran business. It was heartwarming to see them working together and even saw what looked like on of the younger family members help and escort a customer back to their car due to disability. The food was just as good everything is made to order and fresh. The portion sizes are true for only one person, so each order is not made for sharing. The Pad Thai was full of flavor and meats cooked perfectly and noodles done well. The Yellow chicken curry was very tasty and paired perfect with the rice. The Chinese combo good and had abit of everything. The fried rice could use some more flavor but was cooked well. The tables were clean and music playing over was relaxing as we enjoyed our meal. About 5-6 booth for seating. Gets busy and you have a little wait time but the food is always made fresh so it's worth the wait. Will definitely be coming back.

One of the best dishes I've ever had in life.

I've grown up in Oxnard majority of my life. I grew up with a particular dish from here so I have alot of nostalgia for it. Now everytime I come here I always come back for this same dish and it is still one of the best things I've ever eaten. The spicy curry with bamboo shoots seems like a simple dish - and it is - but it is such a pleasure on the palate. The blend of the curry, chicken, spices, bamboo shoots, and rice is a wild adventure. I have not found any other place that serves such an amazing dish.

Last minute decision to stop and eat here, since we were already in the shopping center. It was empty, then the pick up orders started coming in, then others started coming in to sit down and eat. We had the Pad Thai, chicken egg rolls, pineapple fried rice, all were very good. Friendly service. Clean restaurant. Will definitely come back.

I've been to this spot a few times over the years and I will say for casual style Thai and Chinese food it's not bad. You just have to learn what to get and I will say the ambience isn't much but the staff are friendly and they have a pretty big and diverse menu. Staff and service are definitely 5 stars! Everyone that works here is super nice and hospitable. You can tell they value your business and this is definitely a long standing local business to support. The food is also all made fresh which I so appreciate. You can wait between 10-20 minutes but it's worth it. The staff are upfront about this and there is signage. I think where this spot gets overlooked is there isn't much ambiance here. It's definitely more of a casual on the go type lunch spot. This shop center has gotten eerie over the years and the crowd outside can be a little rough. For that reason I prefer To go but when you're inside it's comfortable enough. Probably a better spot for a quick stop with coworkers and such. The food is overall a solid 4 stars. There's been some hits and misses over the years but I've learned what to get. The supreme pad Thai is fantastic and unique. It's very orange! lol. I remember being intrigued by this the first time I got it but the taste is there. It's a really good dish. Large portions and by getting it "supreme" it comes with three proteins. The shrimp was definitely tasty. Today the gal encouraged me to try the chopped chicken with basil and that was an amazing dish. Will get this every-time now. Super flavorful sauce and rice underneath. It was a good bite hands down. This is why I ask staff for their recommendations because she ensured me it was really good and it was! The only dish I wouldn't get again was the egg flower soup. Not traditional and really lacked the egg drop flavor and consistency I was craving. Their soup was very watery with small bites of garlic floating around. Tasted like garlic drop soup broth, not for me and pricey at $8. Only bad dish I've had though. Everything else here has been pretty good. If you're looking for a hole in the wall casual dining spot for some takeout style Chinese and Thai food this spot serves up some tasty food and is run by some really nice people, check them out.

There were a couple couples that look like they're on dates. Service is really good here. And we ordered all the food we wanted to try. It seems like they tried to limit the chances of the cyclospora parasite since no one has a definite source yet (Mongolian beef usually has raw green onions but they subbed wok fired yellow onions). But some stuff they kept the cilantro and green onions (bc they were cold dishes) The pan fried dumpling would have been good if it didn't have so much Ginger.. I'm not too into Ginger but the dumpling was nice because it had the juice inside of it and the texture was nice The refreshing woodear is a cold dish that has a chewy/crunchy texture. The soy sauce/vinegar flavor makes it refreshing when the other foods get heavy. Spicy beef slices were not that bad, but I prefer more of the spicy szechuan flavor (numbing/tingly feeling). The cilantro and green onions also provided good flavor The beef and onion pancake reminded me of mushu beef, it had the same wrap, hoision sauce flavor with meat and veggies-green onions. It also had good amount of meat Hunan beef was ok but wife enjoyed it. Wife's cooking prepared me for the peppers...is it a jalapeno or a green pepper...Russian roulette if you can't handle spicy. The Mongolian beef had reg onions instead of the green onions. Lots of onions..but I can't be mad bc the onions had the wok fire flavor, which I enjoy and not many places do it. The spicy eggplant with hot garlic sauce had lots of woodears, the eggplant was a little more on the sweet side, and the eggplant had a little bit of a crispyness to it. The salt and pepper shrimp almost reminded me of fried cake batter. It had some sweetness to it so it confused me cuz I was expecting something savory. At the end of the meal we had our fortune cookie, which seemed like it was more of an ad than a fortune.. sneaky Fortune Cookie company. Overall this place was pretty good and worth trying, especially since they have great service

I hate to leave a bad review because I know restaurants are struggling like all of us, but with the price of everything these days, this almost $80 meal for 2 was going to be a treat. Choose wisely where you spend your hard earned $ these days. The soup choice was incorrect, the paper wrap chicken was ok but the 2 fried shrimp and egg rolls were bar b doll sized! Included fried rice had nothing but brown color. Our 3 flavor chow mein was greasy but dry?, gummy and mostly flavorless, lacked any discernible vegetables and had just a small amount of meat. Craziest of all, the sweet and sour chicken came as 2 flavorless sliced, battered and fried chicken cutlets and a container of a small amount of basically raw veggies in what tasted like a cornstarch slurry with ketchup and a bit of pineapple juice added. My Sis called the restaurant and they offered to comp an item with next order, but with the amount of restaurants in Ventura that go above and beyond on a consistent basis, there won't be one. We both have spent some time in food service so this almost double hurt knowing that we would've been a lot happier with a big order of Panda Express!!

We let the group pass us and entered the restaurant. We were promptly seated at a corner table and given menus. It did take a bit for the server to come back to take our order, but we did realize we came in 1/2 hour before closing, so we eased off a bit. My partner order the hot pot and was very happy with his choice. The server came back with a hot plate and instructed us how to cook the meat. I was a bit apprehensive about having to cook my own food, but the fragrant smell as it cooked changed my mind. The broth was flavorful and the veg and meat were tender as they soaked up the soupy goodness. I also ordered the boa buns and the pillowy texture, mixed with the soft pork and crunchy cucumber and carrots made my belly sing. We slurped up our food and cleared out as quickly as we could. I hate being that person that lingers at closing time. What I do regret is that I did not take more time at their counter as we exited because it was full of snacks and curios that I love. Next time for sure!
