Tech Dave A just came out to fix a very leaky shower/ bath faucet. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to have in my home. This job was not easy Thank Goodness he had every tool imaginable ( very old house) and was able to fix the problem without tearing through my wall. I highly recommend this company. Dave A was great. Be very careful with this company... When putting a drain field in they fail inspection 3 time a total 2 weeks later. 2 years later I had my system pumped for general maintenance and the lid was to Big and need to be replaced. read more

We had a MAJOR issue. The drainage lines under our house cracked and Raider Rooter spent weeks repairing it all. The different crews that were here for each part of the job were fantastic. They worked hard (stayed until 5 some days) and were courteous and professional. We were given daily updates on the progress. Also, they didn't make any extra mess. They had to dig under both sides of the house and at the end of the day they secured the area. This is a wonderful company with great employees and I highly recommend them. read more

We needed our septic tank drained and they came out to do that but while looking for the septic lid they broke a sprinkler line and while they fixed the line the fix did not hold. We noticed our grass was dying in the front so we turned on the system and the water was shooting up from the repair site and as our sprinklers come on at 3am we did not notice the repair did not hold until our grass started to die. I called to explain the repair did not work and was told to much time had passed so to bad so sad. I explained that the sprinkles come on at 3am so we did not know the repair did not work until our grass started to die. Dishonest, unreliable, blackmail me! Used their service to pump septic and unclog drain. In the process, they damaged my air conditionning ($850.00) and refused to pay anything for it. They also tried to unclog the drain by "jetting" but their equipment was not working(no water pressure) they were going to send me another crew that never showed up but still wanted to charge me for the unsuccessful jetting. Now they are blackmailling me to call city/ County code enforcement. What does that tell you about their work ethic? read more

This company is probably the best available in the area for septic systems, but there is room for improvement. Be aware that in doing a new system you will have MUCH collateral damage, and you will have to agree in advance on the contract. In addition, we were not told that the new system has a filter that should be cleaned every six months. A year later we found out, and had experienced problems because we did not know this. read more

Be aware of this company. I paid $15000 for a septic tank and a draining field. Everything went well at the beginning, the inspections passed and I was happy with the work done. Six month later the septic line is holding water and creating back up issues. Apparently they had not compacted the area under the pipe and it has created a belly holding water. I called the company and they send a specialist to check it out. They claim that it is not their fault since they passed the inspection from the city, and I should have warned them about the issue much earlier. First, I am not a septic contractor to detect the issue once they start. I only noticed it when it became a problem. Second, The inspection for the job was done when the line was not backfilled. Once they backfilled it with a heavy equipment, and the rain later on compacted the soil and pushed the pipe lower then it should be. Now they only want to do the fix if I pay more money. What a waste of my money. Do not make the same mistake I did. Do not fall for their friendliness and professional stand. This company only worries to get paid once the job is finished and they are not going to take care of you later on. read more

So around 7ish in the morning I was awoken by some noises around my house and I went to go look and it was the Raider Rooter and I have to say bad customer experience. They came into my property without me saying come in or letting me know that they were here( I understand some business call a day ahead letting you know) but guess what it was the WRONG HOUSE!( They still had the audacity to come into my property without me saying anything )plus We never heard of this company or called them. So in conclusion whether you're a person coming to check on a house or whatever always knock to see if it's the RIGHT CLIENT! and don't open up other people's property. Bradford Septic (now RAIDER ROOTER) was highly recommended to me by my brother and sister-in-law, who are very picky about whom they hire. However, Raider Rooter does not provide quality service. On 5/21/21, I signed a contract with RR and gave them a deposit of $4,335 for them to install a new drainfield. I was told that the job would be completed in 30-60 days. They did not even begin to work on the drainfield for 90 days. On 9/21/21 I received a change order, which I was pressured to sign. According to this order, I would have to pay an additional $4,000 because RR determined that I needed a lift station. This is something they should have determined when they gave me a quote, but, of course, they were off the hook for this because of the fine print of the contract. By the time they installed the drainfield, I had had the septic tank pumped SIX times. Yes, they reduced each of those charges by $100, but I still spent over $1,000 pumping the tank! When the drainfield was finally installed, it failed not one, not two, not three, but FOUR inspections! And because they tore up my yard so badly and left huge piles of dirt sitting all over the yard for weeks, I had to pay $600 for sprinkler pipes and heads to be repaired. I also had to pay $2,113.25 for new sod. Yes, RR put grass seed down, but it wasn't the right kind of grass (St. Augustine), it looked awful, and it wouldn't have lasted. And, yes, RR took $1,000 off my final bill of $8,135 (in addition to the $4,335 I had already paid) because they know they BOTCHED this job, but it wasn't nearly enough. My sprinkler and sod guys told me they had never before seen such massive destruction from the installation of a new drainfield. read more

Placed a call for service early morning and got an appointment for the same afternoon. The 2 plumbers arrived on time, we're very courteous & professional. I explained that the toilet tank was leaking, grout appeared discolored (wet) in the back and on the side by the tank bolts. However, no visible water. They observed no obvious leaks, tank wasn't running, no sweat & valves were dry. Suggested that issue could be the seal (if fixed no company guaranty) or slab leak (required locating water meter, time consuming to see water usage, extensive work & pricey to fix) or perhaps from exiting the shower (which I dismissed immediately). They diligently attempted to locate the outside water meter and suggested that I contact the water department, check meter readings & if I decided to proceed with work would give me a $60 credit as I was charged $125 service fee. I decided to call a different company & this plumber diagnosed the problem immediately. He simply removed some grout, removed the caps on the tank bolts and observed water by the wax ring. Concluded that leaking was attributed to a bad seal. Replaced all, gave company guaranty & cost was $75 less. If this hands on diagnostic work was done in the first place, I would have $125 in my pocket. read more

Called the next day to see how it went and I told them the technician didn't fix it...they decided to send someone else out & that never happened so I called to schedule a new technician, scheduled them and they just didn't show up. Please don't waste your time with this company! I called them to fix my septic and spoke to Andrew who said they would have no problems fixing it asap. A week passed and they have not sent a contract. I've asked when was the start day, he said in a week. Then I called to send the payment, they said they would call later, two days had passed, nobody called. I called again, they said it was a mistake, they would never be able to start the job as planned. they had not applied for the permit, nothing was done. I spoke to the secretary Bridget who did not want me to talk to the owners and hung up on me. Finally Andrew called me back and he wanted to know if I wanted to know if we were going to do the job, I said I was very disappointed and wondering how did he feel about destroying our Thanksgiving plan, he hung up the phone on me.
