The workers are always super friendly and they really capture the Hawaiian vibe with the decor of the cafe. They serve a large assortment of coffees, Frappuccinos, Smoothies, etc as well as breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They also have Açaí bowls which I haven't tried yet but my friends told me they were very good. I'm also dying to try their crepes one of these days! My usual go-to is the Iced Vanilla Chai Latte and when I'm hungry, I get the egg, ham and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant roll. I've also had their toasted sesame bagels with cream cheese and their avocado toast. I would 100% recommend Lani Coffee (and I haven't even mentioned their Hawaiian Kona coffee which is delish! All of them are clearly made with real fruit, but the fruit flavor is so concentrated it seems almost impossible. The cherry is my favorite - it tastes like dried montmorency tart cherries. Tonight I had it with the black mulberry, which was an amazing pairing. I took a bunch of friends in during comic con and the customer service was equally amazing. I brought my kids in tonight, and again, he let my kids try so many flavors! They also sell Turkish delights. I remember those being so disappointing to me when I first tried them as a kid, and most iterations I have had have been bland and sad. Not so at Galata! I arrived just before the morning rush, so I was able to order and get my drink almost immediately. The cashier was super friendly and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. I also really appreciated that they offer a military discount--it's always nice to see businesses supporting the military community. I ordered a medium cold brew with coconut cold foam and asked for very light ice. I was so happy they actually listened! So many coffee shops still fill the cup with ice even when you ask for light ice, and I hate watered-down coffee. This one was perfect. The coconut cold foam was absolutely delicious and added just the right amount of sweetness to complement the bold flavor of the cold brew without overpowering it. I also love that they serve organic coffee. I'll definitely have to remember to stop by more often whenever I'm in Coronado in the mornings. Next time, I need to try one of their donuts too!
