8/16/25 Stopped in for some quick slices for lunch. The wild mushroom w/ fresh mozz was really good and different. The white and meatball slice were good, not outstanding. I was so excited I got to go back to my hometown that the first thing I did was stop at Raimos Pizza. The cheese and the sauce you cannot find anywhere else! I had two slices there. Was craving pizza so I decided to try Raimos pizza. My husband had heard that this is a really good pizza place and so we decided to try it. The pizza is really tasty and the crust was just perfect. I loved how big the zeppoles were and the garlic knots had just the right amount of garlic. By the way the garlic knots were so nice and soft. Picked up a half spinach and half cheese pie last night and boy was it delicious. It was my first time ordering here so you know I had to check what my fellow Elites and Yelpers had to say.. and they were spot on! After calling my order, I immediately got in my car and headed out. I got there in about 15 minutes and to my surprise, they already had it waiting for me! It was piping hot just as I like it and despite a bit of a line (so great to see that business is good!), I was back in my car no more than five minutes later. I really enjoyed the nice thick crust, which had a very nice crisp to it. They also weren't shy at all when it came to the spinach or the cheese. I was such a happy camper and ate half of the pie myself.. in one night. This might just become my new go-to local spot! read more

So, Raimo's is not just a pizza place. It is a great place to take out areally good meal; and, now, you can even eat in -- although really casual. We've done both, take out and eat in and we always enjoy the food. They have a "Mama" who works really hard making the sauce and cooking the food for the meals. She makes some good sauces and the eggplant, veal, calimari, chicken parm are done well. They even have wine! The combination plates are quite enjoyable when you can't decide which entree to select. They combine a number of stuffed pastas or 2-3 meat dishes. Always have plenty to take home for the next day and it tastes just as good. Raimo's is in a shopping center on Merrick Rd. in Freeport. I have to tell you that my opinion of Raimo's has changed. Their staff and owner are still rude but the food has improved greatly. The spinach and mushroom slices are absolutely delicious. The garlic knots are great and the butternut squash soup is so good! Their in house slices are still better than a delivery pie but I guess that is to be expected. I just found my new pizza spot! Ordered for delivery and my pizza cane nice and hot! Ordered a half cheese, half onion pizza. They were very generous with the onion and cheese! This was one of the first pizza's around the area where a regular slice is ACTUALLY cheesy! We also ordered garlic knots which were good, a bit too much bread flavor not enough garlic and butter for my preference but, to each their own. Raimos serves some quality Italian food I must say. My boyfriend and I shamelessly order off Uber Eats from here once (maybe twice) a week. He usually gets the chicken Rustica or the Bolognese and I tend to learn towards the seafood options. My ABSOLUTE fave dish is their Risotto Ai Frutti Di Mare. It's clams, mussels, shrimp and risotto and it's super filling (I have never once finished the whole serving) and delicious. Normally when it comes to Italian food I order the eggplant parm or sausage and peppers and Raimo's is just 'meh' however their pasta and seafood is in point. Chicken Marsala is always perfect. I will continue ordering from Raimos in the foreseeable future. read more
