One of my new favorite restaurants food and atmosphere along with service are amazing

My husband and I decided to try a local restaurant this past Thursday evening around 5:45 PM after hearing great things about the food. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with "How can we help you?" which immediately felt impersonal and not very welcoming for a restaurant setting. It caught me off guard, as I expected a warmer greeting. I asked for a table for two, and despite seeing many empty seats, we were asked if we had a reservation. When I said no, we were told they had many reservations coming in and that we could either wait or return at 8 PM. The interaction felt cold, uninviting, and honestly a bit embarrassing. There was no effort to accommodate us or make us feel valued as potential customers. We chose to leave and went to another restaurant, where we had a much better experience. For me, customer service is everything, and this establishment completely missed the mark. I would not recommend this place, and I would not return. read more

This is a review for takeout only. The person that answered the phone and took my order was welcoming and easy to talk to. They were also accommodating. When I got to the restaurant the mood was warm and inviting. My order was waiting for me . The food, although a bit cold, was good. The margarita pizza was great and the vodka pizza while good, was quite mild flavored. Had to add some garlic and Parmesan. The best plate was the vodka chicken parm. It was excellent. Interestingly, there was no pasta accompaniment. Keep that in mind. read more

First time diner there. I would walk by these stores growing up and never thought a restaurant would operate in this little strip someday but Emelia seems to be thriving in the residential spot. We were seated right away with a reservation. Service was good. Italian menu. Food was very good. I should have asked for more bread to soak up the delicious sauce. Pasta was very good. And topped it off with Tiramasu cake which was a perfect ending to a very good meal and dining experience. read more

Every meal we have at Emilia is top-notch. We've had table service and impromptu dinners at the bar, and we are always impressed. While the daily menu is reliable, Instagram-posted specials always draw our attention and never disappoint. Specialty pizzas always hit the spot as quality starters especially the pesto-vodka pizza and, more recently, the hot honey and pepperoni. We always take a slice for an appetizer and save the rest for home then enjoy the entrees. This time the veal osso bucco was tender and with gnocchi was stick-to-your-ribs rich. The Chitarra a la gricia was like a cacio e pepe with smoky guanciale elevating the dish to a new place. read more

What can I not say, this place is fantastic!! As someone who lives close by I was extremely happy to hear a wine bar/brick oven pizza place was opening up where the deli used to be. Emilia is everything you're looking for in terms of an intimate dinner out with your other half or for a ladies night. The decor is lovely and cozy (it's not that big of a space), there are TVs at the bar area and the drinks and food are on point. My goal is to try all dishes on the menu. So far we've done the sausage, homemade pasta and broccolini, chicken parm and baked clams. These are standard staples on the menu. We've also tried the specials which vary per week. This has included a tuna salad, burrata and a steak tartine. Drink wise their espresso martini was delicious along with a nice wine list. This is now our go to and I can't wait to be back within the month! read more

The place is cozy, the furniture comfy and the ambience is great. Oh, by the way, the food is excellent! Never had a bad meal here. Started with some apps and grabbed a pizza as well. Their margherita pizza is fantastic, some baked clams and then waited, as I didn't want to spoil dinner. Was there with my wife and another couple and the pizza was the perfect size. Dinner was fabulous. I had the Veal Ragu with Pappardelle, my wife enjoyed the Pastemilia and our friends enjoyed the chicken francese and Rigatoni ala vodka. Each of these dishes were perfectly prepared, came out piping hot and delicious. Carrot cake,the broken cannoli and the lava cake was the perfect ending! I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem. If I could give ten stars I would! Emilia is such an experience. We had the artichoke hearts which were to die for, on the outside they were perfectly crispy and tender on the inside, and the sauce they were paired with was simply delicious. The arancini were scrumptious too, they had just the right amount of cheese, and fresh herbs inside them. They were a good size and were plated with care. And the lobster pasta was exquisite! The flavor of the sauce was rich, creamy, and so savory. The atmosphere was modern, and the decor was contemporary. I thought the retro light bulbs were a stylish choice, they made the wooden and brick walls really pop with texture. And lastly the service was great! Our waiter was really friendly and made sure that all our needs were taken care of quickly. Emilia is a hidden gem! I would recommend it to everyone! read more

This place is a major home run. It's only about a month old and yet there are no kinks that have to be worked out. The service is great and the food is even better. The staff are super upbeat and friendly. This place as been added to our go to list. Get over there. read more

I visited Emilia's last night for about the 6th time within a 2 month period. It is fabulous. I rarely ever right reviews but It's so good I simply had to. I never write reviews but this place was fantastic! It is super cozy and decorated so cute for the holidays. Awesome for groups of 2-6 people. Owners were really nice and food was great.
