    Grandma's Meatballs

Overall experience was 10/10! 1st the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The space is a bit small but it's homey. My fav is the meatball appetizer. As far as the pizza goes you can't go wrong with whatever you pick. I'm not a fan of their pasta because it comes in a skillet and I think it over cooks the pasta. I love their seasonal drinks. Otherwise, I'm here at least once a month!

I really had high hopes because I heard good things so I decided to try it. The place itself is small and you're practically on top of the other tables which isn't ideal. Second the chairs are insanely uncomfortable hard wood no padding. Staff was nice and patient as my friend decided on her entree. To start we ordered a pizza and it was indeed very good. For our mains I ordered the chicken cordon bleu Marsala. It came out extremely overdone where I couldn't even chew through the pieces on the ends they were singed. I replaced it with the chicken funghi and that dish just fell completely flat. The chicken itself wasn't flavorful and still a bit tough- now the sauce was TERRIBLE. I hate to say that but it was so bad it was thick as can be with so much cornstarch there was no Marsala flavor what so ever. I make Marsala a lot and I've been getting a similar dish at La Piazza for 25 years and it never misses the mark. I took two bites. Dessert was good I had a nice tiramisu. The waitress didn't comp anything on the bill which I felt to be a bit rude but I was so done I paid and left. I would go back for just pizza but for regular entrees not again.

Wood fired wings delicious! Comes on top of a salad which was great!

We walked in on a Saturday night and all the tables were taken. We waited about 30 minutes. It's a small place but cute decorated inside and dim lighting. They have a full bar (sangria is made fresh and delicious!) Appetizers were bruschetta and meat/cheese board, everything is so fresh. Pizzas are a brick oven and airy crust. Servers are so helpful with the menu and great service. Highly recommend if you can get in one night! *What's strange though and to remember is that they do not offer some sort of call ahead seating nor reservations. They also do not have a phone to physically speak to someone it is only an automated recording. Make sure to not leave anything there or else I have no idea how you get in touch! Lol.

We enjoyed our time here at this fun clean cozy place. Food was very good, especially the artichokes.. I can definitely see a larger space, we were lucky to arrive before 5 pm on a weeknight, but the tables do not turn over that quick and there isn't much space to wait. Recommended for sure but be prepared to wait on popular days/times.

I had seen Tony and Luigi's for a while after it opened on Merrick Road and finally my wife and I decided to go in and try it last night. We were blown away. The food was outstanding. We shared a Mojito, we shared the Bruschetta special. We shared the Cesar salad and we shared their pasta special. What can I say? The food was more than enough for the two of us and it was incredible. I would highly recommend Tony and Luigi's and we will be back with our friends

We walked in around 4pm without reservations for 3 people and were seated immediately. For parties larger than 4 I would suggest reservations because the space is on the smaller side. The other funny thing about this place is that my cousin walked in through the restaurant next door and the waiter said people do that all the time, so now you know. Otherwise, everything was quite excellent even as a vegan because they had vegan cheese and plenty of veg options. Delicious bread and oil as a free appetizer surely won me over. We all split a bottle of red wine under $50 and had a grand old time. I loved the decorations, you don't have to dress up to go here and service was extremely good. I loved the Italian waiter, don't tell my fiance. I definitely recommend!

Came on a Friday night with my girlfriends. We arrived around 6pm and luckily there was no wait, but almost every table was taken. The ambiance is beautiful. Service was fantastic. Food was delicious. We got the house salad, artichokes, vodka pizza and chicken wings. Definitely coming back!

We went here for a girls night and had the best time! The staff were so nice and helpful with the menu. We ordered enough to share everything. It was delicious! The martinis were great too and the mixologist was friendly and told us more about the drink menu. Highly recommend!

Love this place, was perfect for our date night. I had a smoked apple cider margarita which was delicious. My husband had the lasagna which he loved and I had the eggplant parmesan, both were served in these skillets which kept them hot. Our server was so nice and helpful when my husband couldn't decide between 2 dishes. Will definitely be back soon.

Awesome Pizzas, cheese is very fresh and the tomato sauce is light and fresh ( not acid full of sugar) . Nice cozy place. Food was also very good. It is hard to find a good carpaccio and I have to say this was one of the best I have had in NYC. Also my son was so happy about the beautify clean bathroom that smell so good. We were there by luck after a soccer tournament and I have to say we were so lucky we ended up here. Can wait to go next year!

We ordered Veal Parmigiana and Veal Siciliana both delicious and the veal was like butter, so tender. The sauces on the entrees so flavorful. Side of linguine with tomato sauce and roasted garlic perfect. Very limited wine list , we went with the Chianti tonight which was very good. They had a key lime pie as a special dessert for the night and I can never pass one up, another delicious item. Menu has individual entrees and also offers a family menu options for larger parties. They now have valet parking, but they don't take reservations, despite what's stated on the Internet. Prices have increased and the menu has changed since our visit last year. It's a loud, mostly "smart casual" dressed crowd, and I found myself leaning over the table to enable conversation. Last year, mid-week, it was quiet. Our waitress, Julia, was articulate and very sweet. I ordered the Chicken Sorrentino, which was breaded chicken cutlets with breaded eggplant cutlets in an oily tomato sauce with de minimus infused veggies and melted mozzarella cheese on top. It came with a side dish and I chose the linguine (instead of potato/veggies), but asked for whatever sauce would come with the entrée (instead of marinara, etc.). My dish was delicious, but I became saturated after eating half of it (possibly from the oil or because the portions are so generous), so I took the other half home for another dinner. I purposely didn't order an appetizer to save a little space for dessert and coffee. That said, for starters, they put out complimentary but crude bruschetta for the four of us and they partially sliced about a six or eight inch piece of plain Italian bread in a rattan basket with pats of butter wrapped in foil. I often try the tiramisu for dessert, when available in Italian restaurants. I enjoyed theirs, despite its variant albino appearance (see photo) and flavor. The relative absence of cocoa or espresso initially made me feel as if I had ordered scotch and got a Shirley Temple, but it was still well prepared and went well with coffee.

I mentioned to my friend \who…read morelives in Merrick that we were coming here and she told me that it was her families "goto" for Italian food. It was a snap to get here from the Meadowbrook Parkway and they have a very convenient parking lot right on the side of the building. We came into a very comfortable venue, took our seats and was joined by our waiter immediately after sitting down. Loved the fact that there was really nice music in the background. I am so tired of hearing loud techno while trying to enjoy my meal. We started with some delicious toasted bread (I should have known better) and ordered shortly thereafter, (We had already reviewed menu at home.) Our dinner consisted of: Appetizers: - Mussels in a garlic / white wine sauce - Mozzarella caprese Main Entreès - Shrimp Scampi with linguine - Chicken Cutlet Parm with linguine - Chocolate Cake - Italian Cheesecake Everything was wonderful. My wife loved the caprese while I thought the mussels were amongst the best I ever had. (Best were in Bruges, Belgium) The Chicken Parm was thin, crispy on the outside with tender meat and the Shrimp was fresh and tasty. All this was followed by wonderful desserts with hot coffee. There were enough items on the menu to make me want to come back. On another note... I was a little surprised to see another Yelp review from a fellow Elite member which was not so favorable.
