After another company gave me a pretty outrageous price, I called City Gutters, who evaluated my situation over the phone. After texting several photos, they said they could replace it for their minimum price per job and scheduled me for two days later. I won't be able to see it in action until the next heavy rain obviously, but it looks well-made. I'm glad I got a second opinion after the other company tried to convince me my style of gutters was so hard to work with, hence the high price. The tech built and installed my new downspout in about an hour. I won't hesitate to reach out to them again.

Bobby, the owner, is very personable, knowledgeable, responsive and reasonable priced. He came out in July and gave me a quote to high pressure wash my roof, repair 11 leaking gutter seams and install aluminum gutter filters. Work was performed in August and then we received about ¼" of rain in September. I was surprised when 5 of the gutter seams and 1 of my downspouts were leaking! Good thing there is a 1 year warranty. Bobby responded quickly and scheduled the repair. One week later, I found a bag of metal screws was left on my lower roof. Overall, I am happy with Bobby and his employee Nate, but I feel the attention to detail by other employees was lacking. One of the branches on my plant was damaged as they dragged the hose around, some of the lower tiles - which were removed to accommodate the gutter filters - were not repositioned correctly, the 6 leaks and finding the bag of metal screws. I feel hopeful the improvements will be beneficial with our upcoming wet winter, but curious how my gutters seams will hold. On a personal note, if you have your roof power washed, I recommend you unhook your downspout rain barrel and cover your sprinkler valves - it was my mistake not to cover them and it caused more work for myself.

They also had no clue how to install a drip edge, drilling through the side of MY GUTTER AND FASCIA rather than nailing from the top. It's like they just picked up some random guys from Home Depot parking lot rather than using experienced gutter installers. They basically installed a colander instead of a gutter. It was so bad I had to get a lawyer and have them take down their work and find a new gutter installer. The gutter installers who came to bid (before the messed up install was removed) were gobsmacked how bad the work was, and one said it was the worst install he had ever seen and asked to take photos to show his potential customers how bad some other local contractors are. FOR REAL. I worked in both residential and commercial construction admin for almost a decade in the past and Lluvia's didn't even know the basics for best practices for installing either drip edge or gutters. I don't know how these folks have a license. The only reason I used them was because they were recommended by the manufacturer. I'm assuming they paid for that referral, or else have a friend that works there. I question the validity of their good reviews. Probably friends or family, or people who have no clue how gutters should be installed. Avoid at all costs.
