The tech they sent spent an hour looking around, trying to find the problem. He said he couldn't solve it but we still got charged $411. He said he would have to send someone else. Any estimate for the job? No - he couldn't even make an estimate. When I called Adam, he said they would send a more experienced tech. Why not send someone qualified the first time? What about the charge for showing up and not doing anything? "That's our normal fee?" So, will we be charged for a new estimate? "It's still $250 to show up." Really? I told him we didn't want them anymore and we would like at least a partial refund. He agreed to a refund of $125, but the refund didn't come. I called again and he said they had a miscommunication. Now it would be sent. Still no refund ... We found a new person, a handyman - he said it was challenging, but he found the broken connection and he only charged us $250. Mirsky? Never again ...

Gather round…read more Do you despair when necessary tasks require your: Research (time) Hard earned capital (time) Trust and faith someone will actually do a proper job (emotional well being) Samsies. This is our second experience with Eco. After the first (plumbing) it was a no brainer to call them again. This time for electric and it feels like a pretty large job; three buildings on our property including one full panel redo. They do charge for an estimate. This could take you by surprise. They didn't used to. But we are all in this wild economy together so it makes sense. They also make you feel like you got good value out of the inspection. Extremely thorough. It's refreshing to see people/businesses know their worth. It's not a money grab. It's highly skilled professionals giving you a ton of their time. That's worth a lot more than what they charge. Probably just covers gas. We did our due diligence however and had other quotes. Eco was the last to quote and because of their extreme level of detail we knew they were it. No regrets. Jordan was our main man. He represents Eco so well you'd think he owned the business. Knowledge, professionalism, easy manor, precision, experience... what more do you want? He's also pretty cool. Bonus points for that ;) This is one of those rare and magical situations where the dollar spent feels well deserved. I'm not sure what else can be said. We fully stand behind our experience and hope you the same good fortune. Oh, maybe I can find more to add! We've had a lot of work done on the house lately (recent purchase older home) including other electrical work associated with HVAC. While everything worked out well we can say this: ECO easily blows the competition out of the water. We went with another HVAC company because we have a family member at that business and wanted to use him. Obviously. We didn't realize the extent of electrical that would also go into the project too. ECO on the job would have let us feeling exponentially more confident the job was done perfectly. 10/10 recommend. As the price was too good, I called the company to confirm the quote was accurate. I explained the issue to the receptionist again over the phone, and she told me it's gonna be quoted price for sure. On the day of the appointment, the electrician told me the $79 was just the trip fee, and the actual cost to fix the problem was going to be another $169. I told him my communication with the receptionist over the phone, but he simply said a receptionist can't quote for him and when I rejected the price, he left. I then called the company to talk with the receptionist about the incidence, she flat out denied ever telling me the price was $79. UPDATE: after putting up this review, I called the company again, telling them I have the screenshots of their " flat rate" quote. The company asked me to send them a photo of the screenshot and they will investigate and get back to me.I did. I didn't hear back until today, seeing bel-Red's unapologetic response below. I am downgrading my review from 2 stars to 1 star ONE MORE UPDATE: I noticed Bel-Red says there's a "previous communication "CANned" I am not sure what that means, but this is the whole communication I got. If he can provide any communication indicating this is only the trip with a post date earlier than this communication, I would love to see it.

What stood out was how quickly he was able to find the actual problem--it didn't feel like guesswork. After fixing it, he tested everything again to make sure all the outlets were working properly. That extra step mattered to me because it showed he wasn't just trying to do a quick fix and leave. He also gave some practical advice on a few devices in the house that weren't really useful and what could replace them. I asked him about EV charging, and he walked me through different options, including cost and tradeoffs, in a way that was easy to understand. A few outlets in a room of my home randomly was providing very low power one day. The breaker…read morewasn't tripped so I didn't know what else to troubleshoot. I did a Yelp search and found Washington Electricians rated very high so I reached out to them. Moath quickly responded within 20 minutes and we were able to schedule the inspection and repair a couple days later. Moath was kind enough to give me an ETA before he arrived. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue: we accidentally overloaded and partially melted some wires upstream since we had two space heaters on the same circuit, but the breaker didn't trip because it didn't exceed the amp rating. He repaired the wires and replaced the outlet. He also inspected and repaired a few other outlets we had concerns with, including one outdoors. He also gave me suggestions on space heaters and how we can avoid this problem in the future. Moath finished the job in under an hour. With all the outlets that Moath inspected and repaired, I thought the repair fee was reasonable, especially since it seemed to avoid any unneeded or excessive repairs. I appreciated how prompt Moath was, his transparency, and how he was very clearly able to articulate what the issue was and what repairs were needed.

They showed up right on time and got right to work. I reached out to the owner thinking that there is an issue with the install as it led to overloading the main breaker which is maintained by the HOA. The owner stopped by and claimed that the installation is correct. The problem is not with the installation as it's with the load and the breaker used. Texted him multiple times, he stopped replying to my text and I haven't heard back from him. HOA hired 3 other licensed electricians to diagnose the main breaker issue and all of them agreed that the load is above 100 with the 50 AMPs installed breaker and reported that back to HOA and now HOA is asking me to fix this and install a breaker with lower AMP. The owner doesn't stand behind his work.

Josh did an amazing job stringing the lights and covered every inch of my house! Installation only took a few hours and they were always just a phone call away if I had a question or needed something. He warned me that he might not be able to get out to my house to take the lights down right after the holidays, but he surprised me and they were gone just a few days after New Years. Perfect!
