Their grounds are serene and beautifully maintained, offering a sacred space where our companions can rest with dignity. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Teresa and Julio, whose compassion and professionalism were truly a blessing. Teresa guided me with patience, gentleness, and understanding, making every step feel supported. Julio handled Darla's arrangements with profound respect, treating her as a cherished soul rather than just a pet. Their kindness reflected true humanity and grace. In a moment of grief, they offered not only service but comfort rooted in compassion, reminding me that God watches over all His creatures. I felt that Darla was honored, cared for, and entrusted to a place where love continues beyond this life. Pets Rest Cemetery is more than a resting place -- it is a sanctuary. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful, respectful, and spiritually comforting place to honor their beloved companion. I'd like to thank everyone at Pets rest cemetery for your patience and support! From, The Amaya Family!

As we both began to decline from terminal illness and disabilities, where mine progressing caused my attention to split- This caused further issues for her wellbeing and safety. A traumatic accident resulted, and where I also couldn't rush to her to stop it in time. She survived the tragic fall, and yet her injuries were far too much to add. I had to choose to set her free. Part ways with my other half, and lay my baby to rest. To have an angel of a mobile vet come to us, so Lucy would not need to be in pain and anxiety in a car to a clinic, then scared in a clinic as her final moment, was a huge gift. Then what saved me from full blown drowning after, is finding Pets Rest. Where I could stay with Lucy's remains, and all the way through. This option to witness was a must for me. To never take my eye off of her ever again, even after her passing. This was not something I even knew I could do, until looking into Pets Rest. The got us in very quickly, in just 2 days. The chapel, the grounds, the employees-everyone and everything about this business is absolutely beautiful. Perhaps an example of something I've heard of called "sacred commerce". They're not trying to get rich here. In fact I wonder how they afford to be so fair and generous. Taking no shortcuts, but going the extra miles to create and maintain such a gorgeous heartwarming setting. Giving us plenty of time to grieve and say goodbye, in their Saint Charles Chapel. What I got out of this experience, I'm sure would cost a fortune anywhere in the country. And here this is San Francisco... The operator was so kind, patient, compassionate and very informative. I learned so much from him. He was the best part of my experience with Pets Rest. I always want to drive by when i can, even though I didn't buy a burial plot, I'll always see Pets Rest as where to go to honor Lucy's life. Very blessed for this family business. Thank you,

Our beloved dog Delilah passed away in the early morning of April 7, 2024 at the age of 13 years…read more Her passing happened on a weekend, and many of the locations that I contacted were either closed, couldn't pick up until another day, or couldn't do a pick up due to us not being part of the area they serviced. It was already a stressful situation as it was. Thankfully, Pets.RIP was available at any hour of the day, so I made a call to Kwasi who answered my call and answered all my questions that I had. Kwasi is definitely a gem of a person; he is very compassionate, and being a pet owner himself, he understands the stresses that a passing of a beloved pet can have on its owner and family. There was no rush on when he could pick up; he told us to take as much time as we needed and to call him when we were ready for her to be picked up. After he picked her up to have a private cremation done, we kept in contact with him and he provided updates on when her urn would be ready. After 10 days from when he picked her up, he contacted me to let me know that her urn was ready. He went above and beyond and drove here to personally bring her to us. We would have been okay with having to pick her up from where ever she was, but the fact that Kwasi did this really touched us. Again, he is truly a gem of a person. Her urn was a beautiful sheesam urn with a nameplate of Delilah on it. Seeing it made me cry because I missed her, but also happy that she is finally back with us. If you ever need a private cremation (they also offer communal cremation) for a beloved pet that passed, please do not hesitate to contact Pets.RIP. The prices are reasonable, and they will take care of you from the moment you contact them until the time you receive your pet's urn.

I was scared to hand her over because I didn't trust that I'd actually get her ashes back (I fear some places lump all pet ashes together). I called all over the bay area and no one gave me enough confidence until I spoke to Dr. Ramos from P.E.R. She actually spent a lot of time hearing me out, then making calls to ensure all of my fears were just that- fears. I was treated with respect and kindness. When I brought my baby to the center I was given space and time with her to grieve before she was taken. This was much harder than expected so their set up and process was appreciated. The team was very communicative and helpful. When her ashes were returned to me a couple of weeks later, I was extremely touched that they felt moved by my baby's story and had kindly added little treasures that I will always cherish. I never expected to lose my beloved pet and I don't wish this on anyone, but having this team help get me through it was a gift. If you're reading this it means you're probably grieving your own loss. I'm so sorry. Have faith and confidence here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Ramos and Pets Eternal Rest team.

But the staff couldn't be more understanding and supportive. Unlike making end of life decisions for your fur baby, the process of scheduling this appointment was very easy. Restful Paws asked all the right questions, set the expectations, and made this process that much easier. And on the day of, Dr. Ami arrived promptly at the scheduled time. She was very caring and understanding, and she put all of us at ease. We could not have asked for a better last day for our Sodapop. I'm thankful that we reached out to restful pause, and grateful that they were able to come to our house to help us get through this phase. Weeks later, we received a card from Dr. Ami sending us her condolences. Thank you, Restful Paws, for doing the service that you do. I'm sure it's not easy, and I can only imagine how sad it is to do this on a daily basis. Thank you so much!

Dr. Park's contact information provided a phone number where we can communicate via text, so I texted an initial inquiry on a Saturday afternoon, not expecting a prompt response. Within 30 minutes, Dr. Park responded. Thankfully, she was available for a Monday morning appointment. She provided links to all the pertinent information needed: pricing, process, and FAQs. Also provided were the necessary links to book the services. Dr. Park arrived at the scheduled appointment time and immediately sought to comfort our dog and our family. After reviewing the process with us again, she made sure to answer all our questions and only proceeded when we stated we were ready. She waited patiently while we said our final farewells before proceeding. The procedure went exactly as described, and Dr. Park provided much needed words of comfort once our beloved pup crossed over. She placed his body in a modest basket carrier, complete with flowers, and gave us the time we needed before taking him away. We couldn't have asked for more with the service Dr. Park provided. She exceeded our expectations to lay our dog to rest with the utmost dignity. We fully appreciate the service Dr. Park provided and highly recommend her services. She even sent us a sympathy card a few days after, a nice touch! Her pricing is transparent and reasonable. Thank you so much, Dr. Park!

We made her as comfortable as we could, injected fluids in her everyday, and she had strings of good days, but then on Christmas Eve, her body just couldn't take it anymore. They were all incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional and in spite of having to play phone tag and change the day of our appointment a couple of times. It's not easy at all to do what Dr. Van Horn did, but he did so with the most calm, kind, and understanding heart. He explained everything to us very clearly and even went so far as to share things about himself and stories about his pets to help us through things. He was so patient and gave us all the time we needed to say what we needed to say. He was gentle with her and helped her not suffer any longer. Kara was in excellent hands with Dr. Van Horn, and I highly recommend him if you are in need of services for your pet in their last moments.
