Their grounds are serene and beautifully maintained, offering a sacred space where our companions can rest with dignity. I want to express my deepest gratitude to Teresa and Julio, whose compassion and professionalism were truly a blessing. Teresa guided me with patience, gentleness, and understanding, making every step feel supported. Julio handled Darla's arrangements with profound respect, treating her as a cherished soul rather than just a pet. Their kindness reflected true humanity and grace. In a moment of grief, they offered not only service but comfort rooted in compassion, reminding me that God watches over all His creatures. I felt that Darla was honored, cared for, and entrusted to a place where love continues beyond this life. Pets Rest Cemetery is more than a resting place -- it is a sanctuary. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful, respectful, and spiritually comforting place to honor their beloved companion. I'd like to thank everyone at Pets rest cemetery for your patience and support! From, The Amaya Family!

As we both began to decline from terminal illness and disabilities, where mine progressing caused my attention to split- This caused further issues for her wellbeing and safety. A traumatic accident resulted, and where I also couldn't rush to her to stop it in time. She survived the tragic fall, and yet her injuries were far too much to add. I had to choose to set her free. Part ways with my other half, and lay my baby to rest. To have an angel of a mobile vet come to us, so Lucy would not need to be in pain and anxiety in a car to a clinic, then scared in a clinic as her final moment, was a huge gift. Then what saved me from full blown drowning after, is finding Pets Rest. Where I could stay with Lucy's remains, and all the way through. This option to witness was a must for me. To never take my eye off of her ever again, even after her passing. This was not something I even knew I could do, until looking into Pets Rest. The got us in very quickly, in just 2 days. The chapel, the grounds, the employees-everyone and everything about this business is absolutely beautiful. Perhaps an example of something I've heard of called "sacred commerce". They're not trying to get rich here. In fact I wonder how they afford to be so fair and generous. Taking no shortcuts, but going the extra miles to create and maintain such a gorgeous heartwarming setting. Giving us plenty of time to grieve and say goodbye, in their Saint Charles Chapel. What I got out of this experience, I'm sure would cost a fortune anywhere in the country. And here this is San Francisco... The operator was so kind, patient, compassionate and very informative. I learned so much from him. He was the best part of my experience with Pets Rest. I always want to drive by when i can, even though I didn't buy a burial plot, I'll always see Pets Rest as where to go to honor Lucy's life. Very blessed for this family business. Thank you,

When I contacted Restful Paws, I didn't know what to expect. In fact, I felt bad crying on the phone because I couldn't imagine trying to talk to someone like me at that moment. But the staff couldn't be more understanding and supportive. Unlike making end of life decisions for your fur baby, the process of scheduling this appointment was very easy. Restful Paws asked all the right questions, set the expectations, and made this process that much easier. And on the day of, Dr. Ami arrived promptly at the scheduled time. She was very caring and understanding, and she put all of us at ease. We could not have asked for a better last day for our Sodapop. I'm thankful that we reached out to restful pause, and grateful that they were able to come to our house to help us get through this phase. Weeks later, we received a card from Dr. Ami sending us her condolences. Thank you, Restful Paws, for doing the service that you do. I'm sure it's not easy, and I can only imagine how sad it is to do this on a daily basis. Thank you so much!

It took this long to get around to a review because it's still hard to think about her without getting emotional, but I did want to write this since everything written before in these reviews was also our experience---Dr. Park came on a Friday at about noon, just three or so hours after our initial request, and when she arrived, she was totally professional, sensitive, and supportive throughout the process, which happened in our backyard under the sun. Dr. Park's contact information provided a phone number where we can communicate via text, so I texted an initial inquiry on a Saturday afternoon, not expecting a prompt response. Within 30 minutes, Dr. Park responded. Thankfully, she was available for a Monday morning appointment. She provided links to all the pertinent information needed: pricing, process, and FAQs. Also provided were the necessary links to book the services. Dr. Park arrived at the scheduled appointment time and immediately sought to comfort our dog and our family. After reviewing the process with us again, she made sure to answer all our questions and only proceeded when we stated we were ready. She waited patiently while we said our final farewells before proceeding. The procedure went exactly as described, and Dr. Park provided much needed words of comfort once our beloved pup crossed over. She placed his body in a modest basket carrier, complete with flowers, and gave us the time we needed before taking him away. We couldn't have asked for more with the service Dr. Park provided. She exceeded our expectations to lay our dog to rest with the utmost dignity. We fully appreciate the service Dr. Park provided and highly recommend her services. She even sent us a sympathy card a few days after, a nice touch! Her pricing is transparent and reasonable. Thank you so much, Dr. Park!

It would have been a tough night otherwise. We are so grateful for their kindness and commitment. It's clear how much they care for animals and for the humans who look after them. Thank you. One important note: Brian, Jenn, and other doctors who help with end-of-life care for animals often have busy schedules booked a few days in advance. It's very important to have a few doctors in mind just in case your preferred doctor(s) are not available on your day of need. Ask Brian & Jenn's office for a list of referrals if that happens.

It was really important to us to be able to bring him ourselves and have that sense of control. I had also heard too many stories of larger operations misplacing pets or losing ashes during transport, which felt unimaginable. Some of the places we spoke to also felt very transactional. It didn't feel like they were meeting us in what was a very real, emotional moment. Restful Pets was completely different from the first call. They were genuinely compassionate. Being local made everything easier, and their turnaround was much faster than what we were quoted elsewhere. It's definitely no-frills, with no big packages or upsells, but that ended up being exactly what we needed. What mattered most was knowing he was close and that we were in control of the process, with someone who treated us with care. That made all the difference.
