First time coming to this donut shop and it was still loaded with fresh donuts at 1:30pm. My hubby and I got a few of their donuts and they tasted fresh. Their Boston cream one was delicious and quite moist. My regular glazed one hit the spot! They also sell cold and hot beverages. As well as Thai iced tea boba. Was my first time at this location. When I walked in nobody was at the counter. I could hear a woman in the back yelling and screaming at someone. I waited for a little bit. Still no one attended me and after hearing all that I didn't get a good vibe. So I decided to leave. Needless to say I didn't care to wait and try the food. As I was walking out she just yelled closed my goddamn door! I do not recommend this place and will never come here again! She was very rude! read more

Wow guess my last review was over 3 years ago. (That's how long I've been coming here and coming back! Lol) Still my fave donut shop in Riverside. Taste: 5 stars. Customer service varies (I think the elderly woman retired but she was super nice!), now 3-4 stars. Price: $1.80 per chocolate bar or glazed twist. Special prices for half dozen or dozen. Parking: free, plenty. They usually open pretty late too. Been there at 7:30 pm before with decent amount of donuts to choose from. read more

Place wasn't great for cleanliness. Most of the things were dusty and old. Also, the roof was disgustingly dirty. But that doesn't affect the donuts and food! The sandwiches were delicious and the donuts were delicious too! The donuts were super soft and amazing! They just have to clean the place up. read more

I tried to come to this location to grab a morning donut and the woman tried to hustle me. I told her I didn't need a dozen donuts and she said that the only way that I could get a donut was a dozen donuts. that doesn't make sense to me when I told her what if I only want one or six, she told me the price and the price was only $.25 cheaper which doesn't make sense I should be able to get a single donut or two or three. Rainbow Donuts has roaches in their prep area and don't wash their hands! The donuts you enjoy so much have snot and burger juice all over them. What we witnessed is disgusting and gross! So.. I just have to leave a review on my experience today at 1pm. On my day off running errands I thought I'd stop in to get donuts for us for the next few days. We prefer the Apple Fritters which cost a bit more per donut $2.50 each as do the Bear Claws. The woman working that day & time took awhile to come up front from the back area. She knew I was there did not greet me or say I'll be just a minute. This particular woman is always rude then wasn't til I got home that I realized she charged me for 9 donuts @ 2.50 each. I'd gotten a total of 7. So she ripped me off a whole 5$ bucks. If she is not the owner? I hope the owners read this and set her straight or excuse her to not being able to assist customers. Get a receipt!! Insist on a receipt. Check their Health Code ratings as well. May just go back to driving to Norco for donuts. read more

Wonderful Donuts and friendly service, I was visiting from Florida but I grew up in Riverside- first time in the shop and I ordered a donut for my grandmother who could no longer drive, the very nice woman who I assume was the owner said " oh I know her, she likes this one" imagine my surprise- she's never seen me how could she know who my grandmother was?? Well, she did. She spoke kindly and specifically about her- I was blown away. This was such an amazing display of people who run a business, make wonderful food and APPRECIATE their customers. They really see their customers, make an effort to know them (or maybe it just comes naturally?:) and provide friendly service that you rarely find in our busy world anymore. I just went to this Rainbow donuts after just buying my younger son donuts. When this lady walked up to assist me she immediately stuck the apron she was wearing in her nose to get out a cliffhanger then rubbed it off with her hand. Then she had the audacity to ask could she help me. I said NO and left immediately to post this review. This lady never washed her hands but kept serving the public. Really ruined my appetite this morning. I will NEVER eat here again. This is a health issue. I just can't imagine what they are doing in back while making donuts. I loved this place ! So delicious and owner and worker are so nice. I didn't have any cash and the atm machine charges $2 so be ready to do that. unfortunately I didn't have enough money in my bank to withdrawal minimum. So I told her that I would be back I just needed to go to the bank and she said it's ok take them. It was half a dozen, 2 additional donuts and a milk maybe less than $8 but still I thought that was amazing. I just discovered that there is another Rainbow Donuts just down the street from the one next to "El Pollo Loco." The donuts here are also truly amazing, I think its because the same family owns this bakery also. However, this shop also sells lottery tickets and scratchers in addition to great donuts, pastries, croissants, and other sweets. This place is a lot easier to find and easily accessible. Now if i accidently miss the first shop I can just drop by the other one! Oh and one other thing, a 16 MILLION JACKPOT WINNING TICKET WAS SOLD HERE!! read more
