If you're looking for a healthier fast food option but still craving that classic fast food taste,…read morePlant Power Fast Food is a great choice. Everything on the menu is 100% vegan, so it's a good spot if you're trying to eat a little better without giving up burgers, fries, and shakes. Just make sure to go in open-minded and understand that it's not going to taste 100% like real meat, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. I've been here a couple of times now, and my favorites are the Nashville Hot "Chicken" Sandwich and the Western Burger. Both have really good flavor and hit that fast food craving. The Buffalo tenders are also delicious, and you definitely can't forget their shakes, they're really good and taste like a classic fast food shake. Customer service has always been friendly every time I've gone, and the inside is always clean, fresh, and has a nice atmosphere. Overall, this place is actually really good for being vegan fast food, and I'd definitely come back when I'm in the mood for fast food but want a healthier alternative.

The concept of taking classic fast food staples and favorites and making them plant based is awesome, and the execution is top tier! The food is dangerously good, I've had nothing but wonderful service, and I'm obsessed with their cool retro branding and ambience, I even have a t shirt from them that looks like a cute streetwear shirt! My favorites would have to be Iconic Fries, the California Burrito, and the Southwest Avocado Wrap. This specific location is fantastic, it's a block away from the heart of downtown. I like the vibe of the shopping complex it's in, very cute area, and there is always plenty of parking and seating available (indoor and outdoor). Overall, I highly recommend you give Plant Power a try, you will not regret it! Oh yeah, if you see yourself visiting any Plant Power regularly, be sure to download their app for quick ordering ahead and to rack up rewards for free food/deals!

Being a fully vegan Mexican restaurant, I wasn't sure how well they'd pull off those bold, traditional flavors. But to their credit, the food actually surprised me. The vegan meats had solid flavor and were pretty close to the real thing, especially when it came to those classic Mexican seasonings. You could tell they put effort into making the dishes taste authentic. That said, the burritos were a bit heavy on the rice and beans, which kind of took away from the overall balance. Customer service was just okay nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. It got the job done, but didn't really add to the experience. One downside was the pricing. For what you get, it did feel a bit overpriced, especially considering the portions. It's also worth noting that Viva Vegan is now permanently closed, which isn't too surprising. While the food had its highlights and was impressive for vegan Mexican food, it didn't quite hit the mark enough to keep people coming back consistently. Overall, it was a decent spot for what it was, especially if you're curious about vegan Mexican food, but not something that really stood out in the long run in my opinion.

It was nice to be able to enjoy some vegan ramen. There's a a lot of vegan Mexican spots in SoCal and I've tried a good amount of it, so that's how I'm reviewing this, in that context. I would eat here if I was in the area, but wouldn't go outta the way for it. Mostly for it being outta the way and I know where I can get better food closer to home. I ordered the barrio, nachos and tacos. I didn't love the nachos or the cheese here. The tacos were good, tho you can't really mess up tacos in SoCal. Also, the parking lot is pretty small. This is more of a quick stop or pick up and go type of place.

My party of 10 was very grateful to have gotten a reservation the day of for a birthday…read morecelebration. The hostess noted that reservations could be made at least three hours in advance. For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. His robot server sidekick also sang happy birthday! I did feel like they were understaffed because the lobby hostess had to find the server for me several times when I asked for our cake and the check. Overall, it's a great place for large groups and celebrations.

When we arrived, the hostess attempted to seat us at a table that would not have comfortably accommodated our group. I politely asked if we could be seated at a nearby table that had more space. In response, she rolled her eyes and let out an audible sigh, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. When we were eventually seated at the requested table, she placed the menus down abruptly and did not hand one to me directly, instead leaving it at the end of the table. The interaction came across as unnecessarily rude and, frankly, not in line with the level of service I would expect from a hostess. That said, I want to note that the rest of our experience was positive. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The food itself was also very good (I would not recommend the orange chicken though) and something I would return for. I hope management takes the opportunity to address the front-of-house experience, as first impressions matter and can significantly impact a guest's overall perception. (She was white and had unique, colorful, round glasses)

I really appreciated that she promptly responded that the chili cheese fries has a walnut base meat but everything else on the menu is nut free. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted by the owner of the business. After looking at the menu, I decided to order the chick'n and waffles while hubby ordered the chickun sliders & Cajun fries along with tropical limeade. The staff were very helpful and made suggestions to us regarding choices for sauces to accompany the chickun. When we received our food, it was a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. In addition, the chickun And cajun fries well seasoned, flavorful, and and overall, a flavor party in your mouth. The food was so good, hubby walked to the nearby atm, got more money and bought more food including an order of French fries (because hubby is a fry fanatic) and a separate order of the chickun. Not only did we get to enjoy delicious vegan food in a new city, as we relaxed after our meal, we engaged in a conversation with staff about God which was which was a great way to end the day through grub and God. The Vegan or Nah staff were friendly, helpful, as well as personable and I look forward to enjoying their delicious food and pleasant customer service again soon.

It's a small vegan pizza shop, but the food has always been solid. I'm not even vegan, and I'll be honest the pizza and overall menu are actually pretty good for vegan food. They do a great job with flavor, and it never feels like you're missing out on much. Everything I've tried over the years has been consistent and satisfying. Customer service has always been on point too. The staff is friendly, chill, and they make the experience easy every time I go in. One thing to keep in mind, they almost always have a wait time, so you definitely need to be patient. It's not the kind of spot where you're in and out quick, but the food usually makes it worth it. The only downside for me is the pricing. Ever since they switched locations, the prices have gone up quite a bit. It's definitely noticeable, especially if you've been going there as long as I have. That being said, I still find myself coming back. The jalapeño poppers are probably my favorite thing on the menu, they're so good, especially with their vegan ranch. If you do decide to check it out, just go in open minded. It is vegan pizza, so it's not going to taste exactly like your usual pizza, but for what it is, it's really good and definitely satisfying. Overall, if you're curious about vegan food or just want to try something different, Vegan Korner is worth checking out.
