Nabil and his crew did an amazing job! It was apparent the level of detail they have even from the basic inspection; he noticed things that other bidders did not and gave me honest feedback on what needed to be done and what could stay as-is. I appreciated that he took very detailed videos and notes, double-checked with me on colors, rooms, and areas, and sent me a quote as promised. After deciding to move forward with them, he worked closely with me to figure out colors worked best in each room, which brand (Sherwin Williams vs. Benjamin Moore), and color matched near perfect. He was very patient as we tested samples and walked room-to-room so see the variations of light. I was pretty adamant about using BM but he actually proved to me that SW's quality and color matching were on par - I couldn't tell the difference. It was easy to decide to go with Rainbow and the final job was reflected in a stellar job. The interior is brighter, the home looks newer and I am so happy. He even accommodated my move-in schedule and finished ahead of scheduled time. Pricing was better than the other 3 estimates I received, too, and he even threw in a few extra touch-ups for me. We've been homeowners for 13 years with lots of various contractors working on our house for various projects over that time period, and Rainbow Painting Consulting is one of the best that we've ever worked with. Nabil was responsive and personable. Easy to communicate with, plus their prices were reasonable. Matthew and Ramsey worked diligently on our house for several days. Their prep work went above and beyond - after the first day our backyard was cleaner than it was when they started and they even filled in the gap between the house and the "under trim" with foam so that there would be clean lines. They also replaced trim where they noticed it was starting to rot or warp, which was a huge annoyance that had been bothering my husband for years. Any trim that was still good, they diligently scraped off the old paint and prepped the surface. Matthew's patience and help with our color choices was priceless. We were waffling back and forth on colors and he made sure we were happy with our final choices, and even had the suggestion to double the pigment for the trim so that it wouldn't end up looking muddy in a couple years. We even had them paint a fence that was partially covered by a bush... I'm not even sure how they were able to fully paint the fence and somehow didn't get paint on that bush. I knew our house would look better after being painted, but it seriously looks brand new outside. I cannot say enough good things about Rainbow Painting! The personal touch experience started day one when we called for an appointment to get a bid. Nabil, owner of the business actually picked up the phone, no automated answering machine! His delightful daughter, Perinel, came to our house to do the bid and we knew almost immediately that we wanted to work with this family owned small business. She was thorough, professional, honest and she gave valuable input on paint colors that would help us get the finished look that we wanted. She was also very warm and personable. The final bid was extremely reasonable and fit our budget perfectly! We were very impressed and appreciative of the communication when the project start date had to be postponed for a couple days due to unforeseen circumstances with another one of their clients. Once the project started Tim, Perinel and Nabil were punctual every day and their work was methodical and they were painstaking in making sure everything was prepped just so, and that our furniture and floors were well protected. The project took a week, the estimated completion date they gave us. We got to know this wonderful family well during the week of work which we considered an added perk and they are fervent animal lovers and treated our fur babies so kindly! Once again we had Nabil and his crew (Mathew and coworker) paint our interior after a large remodel and a much needed exterior of our house. Nabil also helped us with the final paint selections. I hired Rainbow for my last house in Poway, and now I brought them in to paint the exterior of my new house. Nabil is so easy to work with and always gives me great insight and advice. In addition, he's very honest. His people are the best! Matthew and Ramsi did a spotless job after carefully preparing the job site. They repaired stucco and fixed some rusted spots in a way that they won't rust again. There was termite damage in some of the wood, which they fixed with a resilient material, and you can't even see it now. They even installed our new outdoor lights. After having hired a dozen or more companies to help us with our renovation, I have to say that Rainbow was the easiest to work with and the most meticulous, both in skill and service. Overall did a great job. Very happy with the quality. Pernille gave us a detailed quote and took some pictures to make sure all notes were documented ahead of time. We got our full house (~1300 sq ft) done. We had a lot of stucco cracks all around and they patched those up and made sure everything was sound before painting.
