Was imformed that weekend service would be $185 for labor to start which is totaly acceptable by me. Tech came out and quickly troubleshot the problem as a bad condensor fan motor run capacitor which you can pickup for about $50 ....( part houses arent open on weekends for homeowners) and the tech was done in 20 minutes. I gave them 2 stars because the Tech was good, other wise I would give them ZERO stars. What they dont tell you is they do roughly a 700% markup on parts, so I was charged $378 for that $50 capacitor. Not the Techs fault so waited for Monday morning to call the owner, spoke with his secretary who transfered me to his voice mail and Don Kinder the owner apparently felt no need to call me back.

He diagnosed the problem, explained it to me, and arranged everything so both my heat pump and hot water heater were replaced the same day. Joey and his assistant worked till after dark in the extreme heat to finish the task. I also dealt with DJ who arrived later on to install new thermostat and check on the operation of the unit. During the recent cold snap that came through, our furnace went out. Anderson Air responded…read morerelatively quickly, getting a technician on site that Sunday afternoon who diagnosed the issue as the heat exchanger. It clearly had cracks rusted in the pipes and needed to be replaced. Monday - the supply house was closed Tuesday - the part was not in stock and had to be ordered Wednesday - heat exchanger replaced, then realized the control board had a short that also required a replacement Thursday 3:30 PM - finally got the furnace working again. We have 4 small kids at home, and my wife is pregnant - we were without heat for 5 full days, and Anderson's response was not urgent. Subsequently, the Heat Exchanger was covered under warranty and we were hit with a $2,300 bill for "labor". After asking for clarity this generic line from their pricing sheet included labor, "other parts" and refrigerant among other things. We were charged to refill the refrigerant when the heat exchanger was replaced... This is a reflection of faulty management, and taking advantage of customers. We will not be using them again.

I recieved a call back within 5 minutes to discuss the issue and set up an appointment. Nathan was my last rep to service my unit, and i was very pleased by his speed and professionalism. He determined the root issues, quoted me the prices, and told me what i saved by being a GOLD member. I gave him the OK to procced, and he got right to fixing my unit. (Nothing worse than a chatty cathy service tech who wants to become your best friend while you are on a lunch break getting a service call done). My air running great, and im chillin' like an eskimo.

He was professional and friendly. However, I can only give Bud Anderson 1 (and I would make it 0 's if I could). Why you ask? They had to come replace a drain tray that they installed. Yet another "Oh sh*t" (one of many I might add). But that isn't the worst. When they installed the tank, they left a plug unplugged. Everything is in a power strip, so it was really obvious there was only 1 plug left dangling. I saw that but I didn't know what it was, so I didn't want to plug it in (perhaps it was left that way on purpose). I asked Felipe what it was for. He told me it was heating tape to keep my lines in the attic from freezing. So, when we had 14-degree temps recently, my lines froze. And when they froze, water backed up. I had to put 4 aluminum trays under 4 leaks to catch the water. I don't know what is going on at Bud Anderson, but they are going downhill fast! There is a saying that 1 "Oh Sh*t" erases 100 "Atta Boys". At this point BA owes me 400 "Atta Boys". I hope not because that means 400 things went wrong. If I didn't have a service contract already paid for, I'd be done with this company. Whatever is going on, you need to right the ship pronto!!!
