Firstly, it appears as though Rainbow utilizes different managers at various locations throughout the Los Angeles region. As of recently, this location has a manager by the name of EVIE (Hispanic older woman with a masculine metrosexual haircut) and I am very displeased with her behavior. I had a return that was after 30 days - the policy states that any return AFTER 30 days WITH receipt is due a merchandise credit which is completely fine with me, I did not expect to be refunded my money. She was refusing my return for a merchandise credit and only after I pressed the issue and told her she MUST uphold the policy did she process my return for a merchandise credit. She told me she would "try" to do it as if she was doing me a favor. She literally tries to deter returns by LYING to customers about the return policy despite it being written in black and white. (They don't like to process reruns because it messes up their sales quota) It's not my job as a consumer to instruct her to follow Rainbows return policy. She said that "they" said they cannot honor returns after 30 days despite what the policy says in the store. She is a bold face liar and I will be contacting corporate, as a manager she should always follow policy! read more

If you know me I love Rainbow Shops! Their selection is always up to date and organized properly. I've NEVER had a bad experience at any rainbow shop store from LA TO NY. Tracy "that black lady" is an amazing woman she's been there forever It's unfortunate that's others have not gotten to know her the way I do. Knowing someone genuinely changes your whole experience! Very rarely do you find someone who's dedicated to their profession and the community. I encourage each reviewer to check their energy and reproach the situation. Horrible customer service. Tried to return an online purchase using their return label. It was somehow lost and they blamed the post office. The post office says it was delivered. I gave them a second chance, tried to return another online purchase by taking back to the store. They never refunded my money. read more

I wanted to return clothes right after the purchase. However, they were not able to refund me on the card I paid with as it was non American card. Mind you I did ask about the refund policy and they didn't mention anything about it or that it could be an issue. The lady said it can be any card as long as it's in my apple wallet that can be used to proceed the refund. I gave her my Chase card. 2 weeks later I still haven't received a refund!!! So not only I haven't got clothes but also didn't get the money. I feel scammed. The lady was also rude about the whole process and inflexible. The clothes are fine, there's just this black old lady who is rude for no reason. I go to the shop when I am in a pickle and need something quick. I do have to pick and choose certain items cuz some of the things they sell are on the cheap side but you can get a decent item every now and again. You pretty much get what you pay for. They actually have good customer service believe it or not. read more

They're good with returns within the timeframe but their stock (shoes) is limited & the clothes are cheap & run small, most cheap items do.

Once entering this store I heard so much profanity from a customer cursing throughout the store . The store is a fire hazard so much clothing everywhere. I bought 2 different types of leggings and the cashier said they are final sale . I said ok let me try them on first and the cashier said I couldn't try on the leggings because it's a garment that is close to my body . I was on the phone at the time with my sister when I was told this and my sister said is the leggings marked down and the cashier said no when I asked . I said so I'm purchasing a product that I can't return as well as can't try on . I said I never heard of a policy and she said I don't make the policy . Yes I have purchased from stores through out the region and this is a first . On exiting another store worker asked me about the service there and I said I will be reaching out to corporate and writing a review on yelp . The older black lady I believe she's the store manager is super rude!!! She acts like she's at home and owns the place I was asking for help about some bras on top hanged and she was being lazy didn't want to grab the hanger she said whatever is down there are the sizes smh but clearly there was more sizes on top the other cashier noticed and I told her and she went to grab me the size I wanted from on top mind you !!! The store manager only acts like this with non black people!! Everyone else was getting treated nicely but she saw me small and young and Hispanic wanted to act rude with me " which one did u want? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! First one of the associates told a group of customers not to shop near the door because she was tired if hearing the alarm go off so often. Then the girl at the register wouldn't even acknowledge me when I wanted to try some items on.
