The tiger sugar milk tea is similar to a brown sugar milk tea, and tastes like brown sugar-- sweet with caramel notes. Boba has a good chew (not very soft) and is slightly sweet. If you like boba not super sweet, consider reducing your sweetness level, but for me 100% is just fine! A milk tea and then topped with cream cheese with 50% sugar and ice. It wasn't bad. It was ok. There wasn't much in the way of a tea flavor which is my biggest complaint. That said the service was nice. There was a guy going around asking people of their drink was ok and he even swapped one person's out for a new one. That matters. There's lots of seating too so it's good for groups. So now back to my dilemma... How do you rate a place? I figure if you go to a dumpy place and the food is awesome you rate it 5 but if it's just mediocre, it gets a 2 (downgrade for bad environment). The cashier and the barista employee just continued to pour the pre-made Okinawa full sugar milktea to my cup and pretended it was the original half sugar milk tea I ordered. It's very nice, clean and the decors are super cute! They even offer a polaroid station for you to take photos of you and/or friends! The staff are all quite helpful too and gave us excellent recommendations! My friends and I went with the Macchiato Tiger Milk Tea at 50% sugar, a Lemon and Kumquat Fruit Tea at 50% sugar and a Royal Milk Tea at 30% sugar. For the Macchiato Tiger Milk Tea, I definitely recommend bringing down the sugar level as at 50% sugar it was a pretty good sweetness. Nevertheless, I would not order the Green Tea Yakult again because there is barely any Yakult flavor. I sat here for about 2 hours enjoying the AC and free internet. TocoToco is a great place to study, hang out with friends, or just to relax for a bit in the middle of a hectic day. My sister got the mango yakult and my brother got the tiger sugar MILK TEA. I think their menu has a variety of drinks! I think this is the only boba that has yakult drinks on their menu! Everything was good, decent, solid choices. Is it "the best"? I can't say for sure. I am just obsessed with milk + brown sugar drinks at the moment... I pass by this boba place to/from work so its an easy stop and it's right off the highway. They have a great location and the parking shouldn't be too difficult. Decided to try the new boba place in town. Love the interior of this place. Very clean, modern and minimal. I got their regular milk tea with boba. I was not a fan of the boba. I'm on my season 3 of Boba Adventures if I was filming or something, haha. Well, recently I've heard this new boba place was coming in. While researching, I've noticed it's from vietnam; so, that was even more new (to me)! FOOD (Taste 2.5/3; Appearance 1/1; Worth 1/1)// I was in the area because #CentralMarket. While there, I dropped by because I remembered Tocotoco was in the same area. So, I grabbed drinks for me and my family, Macchiato Mulberry, Blueberry GT, and Panda Milk Tea. First, the price is not bad for these drinks if you see the menu that these drinks come with already added toppings. Starting with my least favorite drink, Panda Milk Tea. Honestly, not sure what I was expecting, but the milk tea, itself, was not for me. I can say, though, the boba and crystal noodle that were part of the drink were GOOD - the chewiness that I love, but had no flavor though. Now, as I was sipping the other two drinks, this is what I thought (personal thoughts only). The Blueberry Green Tea comes with Bluberries and Aiyu Jelly. I thought the blueberry flavor could have given more strong than how it is to balance with green tea. However, overall I think it was very refreshing and new ride for me! Next is their very special Macchiato Mulberry! I had no idea what this fruit was, until I translated to Korean, haha. This drink was really good and I understood exactly why this was recommended to many people that left a review. That balance between cream cheese foam and mulberry + whatever tea was great. SERIOUSLY the cream cheese foam was really good. Again, I hoped the mulberry flavor was bit stronger. HOWEVER, that's just me that wants to appreciate the "fruit" flavors more than the tea taste. I was excited to hear that Tocotoco was going to be in town so we decided to try it out for the first time during their grand opening, but when we walked thru the door, there was a funk in the air. We didn't think anything of it. We just tried a few of their drinks and it wasn't that great. We had gotten the Mulberry Green Tea and the Passion Fruit Tea. Both drinks were overly sweet even after having the sugar level adjusted and didn't have much flavor to them. We were not really impressed by this place. The 2nd time we went to Tocotoco was to try their Pandan bubble waffles since one of my cousins was wanting pandan waffles. Again, there was the same funk in the air and it's been a few months since we came back. My cousins had ordered 3 pandan waffles and it took quite some time to get all 3 of them! We waited for about 15 mins for the 1st waffle, another 15 mins for the 2nd and 20 mins for the 3rd (I'm guessing they forgot about the 3rd order until my cousin went up to remind them). The pandan waffles were burnt around the bubbles since those areas are thinner compared to the bubbles. They're supposed to be slightly brown, not dark brown to black around the edges of the bubbles. It's a little under $5 per waffle and they're not that big either. I wouldn't recommend getting them here. I don't see us coming back again after 2 tries at this place. read more

Unfortunately, they didn't have any lychee jelly so that was sad. My fiancé got the macchiato tiger sugar drink. The recommended/normal sugar level is 50% here. I've learned my lesson before and many times people recommend going with a lower sugar level, but I trusted my gut and went for 100% sweet :) I have a sweet tooth.. with that being said, it was not overly sweet at all. In fact, it definitely tasted a little less sweet than other mango green teas I've had before (specifically sweet hut) at normal sugar level. I didn't like the mango bits in there. It wasn't good mango. It was like the hard parts of a mango were cut up and put into the drink. I was trying my hardest to avoid the hard mangos.
