Very rude staff today. Didn't seem happy to be there. I'm used to friendly staff. I asked for more ube than matcha base and she gave a face. She ended up doing more matcha instead of ube anyways. Then...when we said "we've never been here" There was no suggestions, no "oh let me help you". Just literal straight face. Like awkward silence while the girl sat there. Never smiled. Was not pleasant at all. So much so that I was uncomfortable. When she asked a clarifying question, "is it all together?" She was rude by saying "yeah but you said 2?" This is the first make your own bowl place I've been to. I got an acai and mango base with both love crunch and honey almond granola. I had blueberries, strawberries, and toasted almond on top of the granola with agave. To top that all off, I got almond butter and bee pollen on top. Sooooo delicious! It was my first time in and I was really looking forward to trying it since there are not many acai places in this area. I was definitely not let down, their service was AMAZING!! I wasn't sure what flavor to even get since they had a good amount of options and the employee gave me samples of the bases and also offered for me to try to the chia pudding flavors which were so refreshing and I had never tried before. They said that you could choose as many bases and toppings all for the same price of the bowl (I got a 12oz which was $8.50) and the fruit was so fresh and all their toppings looked so appealing in general I wanted to have them all! The customer service was excellent overall all smiles and conversations were so pleasant while ordering my bowl. The inside was clean and organized as well and the service was attentive and helpful. I have been into a few acai bowl places just to find out how it works and left always without ordering anything because honestly not so found of the acai flavor. This is why I love this place. Not only did they explain how it works but also gave me samples as they have multiple bases to choose from. I preferred the coconut base which I believe is like a sorbet type base. They offer so many different base flavors, including UBE!! Not many açaí bowl places offer this flavor, so that was very exciting. I sampled the ube and coconut and they were both fantastic! They also had açaí, pitaya (dragonfruit), matcha, mango, and cacao as well as three different chia pudding flavors: regular, chocolate chia and matcha chia. The store manager Alexia helped me decide what combinations taste best by even suggesting a few topping I should add.
