First of all the bald ass fat sassy guy is the reason im writing this. He is the most ignorant and discourteous guy ever. When we walked in we didn't get greeted, we literally were just standing there. We took my 4yr old to get a hair cut and he was beyond rude he didn't even try to make my son feel comfortable he literally stood behind the chair staring at the tv. while we asked him how we wanted his cut. He is so unprofessional and has all of the attitude in the world! We gave it a second chance and my husband went that time, he asked for a low fade and looked at him like he was stupid and and he was like "what it that?" like seriously?! then he almost cut off my husbands ears with the clippers and he said he was just so rough and full of bad energy! Boxing themed barbershop, clean and very friendly staff.. I've brought my son here twice now and both times Charlie has cut his hair. Charlie is up beat and very friendly, he makes you feel welcomed and at ease to know that what you ask for is what you will get, The guy who's station is next to his is very friendly as well and also very welcoming. Never had such a rude barber, I went in asked for an opinion if I should shave my head or go bald (my hairs getting pretty thin and I'm over it) the barber said let's cut it short first and see if you like it and if you don't then he can just cut it shorter I was like okay fine, this guy starts throwing insults at me then throwing little compliments like "at least you have broad shoulders"which seemed like he was trying to cover up the insults. The other barber was some girl that was laughing the whole time which started to annoy me. Anyways im looking at the haircut in the little mirror they give you and he can tell I don't really like it cus my hairs so thin in the front and this girl that was laughing earlier walks up and says looks good and the guys like see you even have beautiful women saying they like it and he takes the mirror out of my hand and says that guy over there can help you with the payment, not even giving me the option to cut it shorter. Worst barber shop ever !!! If I could rate 0 I would. I never use Yelp to write reviews , nor have the time. but sense I felt so uncomfortable and around miserable people I am today !! My sons actual barber at empire barbers was booked . So last minute I wanted to get my son a hair cut for vacation , I called , was told they had no wait and availability. When I showed up the girl who was suppose to cut my sons hair backed out and said she didn't feel comfortable cutting his hair because he is 4 and only cuts 5 and under because they move too much . Mind you my child cuts his hair every 2 weeks since a baby with a girl barber and does amazing sitting still which I explained !! Still wasn't willing . Whatever . I asked if there was another barber and there was , he was supper rude , on his phone and said he had an appt , which then the cashier guy was like he's late cmon, and he ended up cutting my sons hair , no patience !!! Cut his hair in 10 mins , was so rude , kept telling my 4 year old don't move rudely when he wasn't moving at all !!! He's use to cutting his hair mind you !!!! At the end I said thank you for being willing to cut his hair , and he was so rude . He said "yup " pointed at the cashier and said 22 dollars . How unprofessional. I will never step foot in there again !! The two barbers there seemed lazy !! You don't like your job ? get a new one !! This isn't to the cashier . He was sweet offered me water and even asked how my experience was . As I proceeded to tell him it was horrible and I didn't even feel like paying . I tip well. Didn't tip a thing !!! If I could give them less I would. This is the second time I give this place a chance. This time my hair got really and completely f-ed up. Lindsey did a horrible and miserable job. I would have done better with paper scissors on my own hair. There is a reason why this place is always empty. I will NEVER come back here again!!!! This review is specific to the barber Charlie. Got a cut today by him. Not sure if he was having a bad day. But the dude was rude from beginning to end. I will admit that I was 2 minutes late but there was no one else waiting before I got there or after I left. He gave me the fastest cut I've ever had. Which worked out only because I was in a rush. But he was for sure in a bad mood. I still tipped $5 because he didn't mess up my hair completely. But it was definitely not a clean fade whatsoever, like the reviews say. Like I said, maybe it's because I was a couple minutes late. But that's no reason to be unprofessional. Even when I left I said thanks, but he responded rude as hell. Next time I'll request the dude with the braids. The fade he gave his customer was very clean. The shop is clean and nice. And they have boxing matches. I'll go back but avoid Charlie. Honestly worst haircut I have ever got. The barber Adrian was so unprofessional. Went it and asked for a trim and taper. Nothing complicated. Once the taper was done, he took the cape off of me and said I was done. I was like what? I still need the trim on top and he was like "what trim"? He looked so irritated that he still needed more work to do and then proceeds to trim my hair with the clippers??? In all my years of getting cuts, I have never seen a barber do something like that. Hell even the salons with the ladies know how to trim hair with scissors. Then once I got finished he takes the cape off and doesn't even give me a mirror to look at the cut. Once I got home and was able to get a good look at my hair, I can honestly say that my hair looked better before than after I got out of this place. It sucks that I have to leave such a negative review because this spot has such a good ambiance and the cashier was nice person asking me about the overall experience but the barber definitely ruined this place for me. Really cool and talented guy named Cj over there. Had a great time talking to him and gave me a fresh cut! Customer service is welcoming and I didn't make an appointment by accident so they nicely told me they'll reserve me for later the same day. Comfy couch and a huge Tv playing for anyone to watch. On top of that they were wearing masks during this whole covid19 pandemic unlike Excellence Barber Shop... anyways 10/10 highly recommend :) read more

I called Raincross Barbershop to make an appointment after reading on our Homeowners Association page that Raincross was open for business using barber chairs set up outside their business. I arrived for my cut this morning, and was promptly greeted and told it would be a few minutes as all three chairs were full . It was no worry for me so I sat and watched the haircutters do their work and then spend another five minutes or so between customers, preparing and sanitizing their work area and tools of their trade. My barber was named Joseph, ask for him when you go. He loves conversation, is efficient, and has a great persona. He had a Latin tropical music station playing in the background. After a long week, the sound of that Music topped off my Sunday morning. Joseph definitely gained a new regular customer for Raincross Barbershop. I highly recommend this place.
