They worked daily with our dog at Doggie Camp for 28 days and never gave up on her. All of the staff told us how much they loved her and can't wait to have her back for daycare and boarding! Being very stubborn, he needed a full four weeks of camp, but came out as a very pleasant companion, obedient and easy to walk. The people at DDG are fantastic, very personable and great dog trainers. They kept in touch weekly, sending pictures, discussing the tasks accomplished and the problems to be worked out. However, my fears were soon set aside as Linda took my dog while I removed my board from my car and began putting on my wetsuit. Without me saying a word, she suggested walking my dog within eyeshot. Little by little, I started feeling more confident and was able to relax. Her suggestion of remaining close helped my dog to feel less worried as well as the yummy treats she fed her. What I found most remarkable about Linda was her flexibility. Like an expert surfer, she navigated the situation with ease, rootling through her trunk for a towel when I forgot one, finding water for my dog when she got thirsty, and safeguarding my car keys when I was in the water. All this while a wildfire was causing evacuations within a county of her house! Vacationing as a single person with a Border Collie is not without its challenges; thanks to Linda, I was in a better position to meet those challenges and have fun.

Sarah, the trainer, had the perfect background credentials, self-confidence and philosophy so I signed up my dog to be trained by her at the dog resort. The protocols for safety (physically and emotionally) at the facility are outstanding. Soon,I met with Sarah and she developed a training proposal which I approved. My dog came home from daycare TIRED and less clingy each time he went there. When his training was complete, I was shown how to do the trainer's commands and motions and now my dog's demeanor in our home and in public is calmer and our relationship is at a new level of trust and respect (both ways).
