That said... if you're hoping to leave with the confidence to open your own omakase counter in a strip mall, this is not that. A lot of the components were pre-made or prepped ahead of time, and there wasn't a ton of actual teaching around technique, ingredients, or the food itself. So while you do "make sushi," it's less MasterClass and more cute, hands-on dinner activity. But honestly? That's not necessarily a bad thing. Not every class needs to end with a knife skills certification and a spiritual relationship with sushi rice. Bottom line: Come here if you want a fun, low-pressure experience for a date night, girls' night, or team outing. And we also tried the burrata which came as two small pieces of toasted bread, juicy burrata and charred broccoli (also a simple but satisfying dish). All of the dishes are pretty small, so you would probably need to order at least a handful for a couple to feel pretty satiated, but that makes it fun to try more wine at the same time ;) We were curious about the pork belly, which the owner proclaimed to another guest that night to be "her favorite item on the menu." They showed up a little early to get set up and prepared. He did bring a lot of his own dishes and cookware. They were very kind to everyone but also focused on their craft. We had 4 courses. We have reported it as fraud. Such a disappointment. Don't let Chef Dre ruin your event and take your money.

The meals were bland and over cooked. My assumption is that they sat in the delivery person's car for hours, unrefrigerated. Everything was extremely dry and several smelled rancid. I'm so disappointed that I wasted my money and allowed these people to waste so much of my time as I sat around and waited for a delivery guy who didn't show up. I will never use this company again.
