She was professional, knowledgeable, and highly engaging, creating an environment that made the cooking experience both enjoyable and educational. Overall, this was a top-tier experience!!!!! Ask for Stephanie as your instructor! Can't wait until you open a location in NC ( I may have started making plans with family and friends hahah :P

I came for the sushi-making class, and overall, it was a really good time. The setup was smooth, the atmosphere was lively, and the whole experience felt more like a social night out with a little culinary cosplay which honestly, has its place. They also offered wine and sake pairings, and you can BYOB, which definitely helps keep the vibe festive. That said... if you're hoping to leave with the confidence to open your own omakase counter in a strip mall, this is not that. A lot of the components were pre-made or prepped ahead of time, and there wasn't a ton of actual teaching around technique, ingredients, or the food itself. So while you do "make sushi," it's less MasterClass and more cute, hands-on dinner activity. But honestly? That's not necessarily a bad thing. Not every class needs to end with a knife skills certification and a spiritual relationship with sushi rice. Bottom line: Come here if you want a fun, low-pressure experience for a date night, girls' night, or team outing. Just set expectations correctly: this is more about the experience than becoming the next IronChef.

You Make your way to the counter where the gentleman takes your order and gives you a number. We went with the Prosciutto and Hot Italian Sausage. The Prosciutto sandwich was super tasty with fresh ingredients and top tier bread. The Hot Italian Sausage was over to top and delicious. Great sausage and amazing bread with just the right amount of spice overall. The sauce they use could be a meal by itself. Super great sandwich! The whole experience was fun and we would definitely come back. Highly Reccommended!

This place is awesome. Opened back in 1966, it's been a Dallas staple for decades, and you can feel…read morethat history the second you walk in. It truly feels like you've stepped into a legit Italian market. It's packed--in a good way--but be prepared to rub elbows while you shop. If you don't have social anxiety, it's all part of the experience. We met another couple there for sandwiches, and they absolutely delivered. I had the Italian beef, which was delicious--but definitely spicy. I even asked for light peppers and it still brought some heat. So fair warning: if you're sensitive to spice, you might want to pivot to something else. My wife has been missing New Orleans, so she went with the muffaletta. Let's just say it was a much cheaper solution than flying her to the Big Easy. No gumbo on the menu, but the sandwich hit the spot. After we ate, we did a little shopping and grabbed some fresh Italian ingredients imported straight from Italy--which is always a win in my book. Great food, great vibe, and a true Dallas institution. We'll definitely be back.
