Went in around 9ish after my car wash down the road. Not many donuts to choose from only two top racks of donuts left. But I did get a decent amount of options to choose from. The young lady working the front was very kind and patient with me. Donuts were decent, id definitely come back for more when I'm not willing to drive to Krispy of course lol. Went to grab a mochi donut and then wound up getting a half dozen with my husband. The mochi donut was good. It wasn't the best that I've had, but it was still good. We did come near closing so that might be part of it. I was disappointed by the cream filled donut though. The filling wasn't even. More than half of my donut didn't have cream and when I got to the cream, it was waaaaaaay too sweet. Maybe it was overwhelming because I had so much cream to donut ratio since more than half didn't have any. I do love that they sell DeJongs milk and chocolate milk though. Basing my review off filled donuts as I don't really ever go for the traditional ones. This is my go-to donut shops. All the shops you'll find in Elsinore in terms of taste and dough quality are pretty close so the only way you could really justify a "best" is by nitpicking and over slight positives and negatives. That said though, the reason I prefer this location over the rest comes down to the following; -their donuts are slightly cheaper than the rest -for some reason, this is the only other location that has an opening time and availability that are even remotely close. If the donut you wanted isn't available as soon as they open, chances are you'll only have to wait a few mins at most. The big advantage here is if you go when they open. The only place that has them beat is Vista Donuts who I've found have all their donuts ready as soon as they open, but the 1 up Raised has is if you're willing to wait a few mins, you're gonna get your donuts the freshest they can possibly be. -payment is a bit more convenient as they have a self-service card reader so you don't gotta go through handing em your card like most other places -simply, there's only 1 guy who has the opening shift that I've seen and he has always come off as particularly welcoming and nice read more

This was my favorite donut shop until they changed management 02/2021. Took a chance and bought a dozen for $11.99. Let's just say, I will not be back. Donuts are very bread-y & heavy, glazed not dipped well. Really tastes like the Little Debbie honeybuns, which I'd rather have for this price. Was really wanting to help out the local business...‍ I'll have to make the drive to the other side of town on Riverside Drive, for the best donuts. Really disappointed with new management! Forget about dunkin donuts... this is my favorite donut shop. They have a large variety to choose from. The donuts are big, almost 2 times as big as the ones from DD. They are also less expensive...not like that makes a difference. I definitely recommend this donut shop. read more

This used to be my favorite donut shop when I moved to the area 11 years ago. It recently came under new management and everything changed. The selection SUCKS! The original baker used to try to offer new flavors every once in a while and did a good job keeping the shelves stocked and fresh. Now, there's an extremely limited selection and the prices went up. My daughter wanted a chocolate bar or a chocolate twist, she didn't really mind which, but they had neither at 10 AM on a Monday. The employees don't make the drinks the same way, sometimes my Thai tea is good, sometimes I end up tossing it after drinking half. Doughnuts are light, fluffy, fresh and delicious! The French Cruller is my favorite and they make one of the best I've had!!! (Many doughnut places don't even make it). Just went in this morning to get doughnuts. We saw a worker go from the doughnut shop to the Chinese restaurant so I think they own both stores. If the Chinese food is as good as the doughnuts they sell this will be our new spot. My husband loves a doughnut that hasn't sat for a day or two. His glazed twist was the freshest he's ever had. Went to this donut shop this morning wanted a ham and cheese croissant the lady that was working asked if I wanted jalapenos I replied back no thank you. I got home and took a bite to fine the whole croissant filled with jalapenos. Unfortunately I'm pregnant and can't stand the smell of spicy food, it has made me sick to my stomach.
