Now the food in most locations are consistent and good so the reviews are using about how the store looks, staff and service and any other things out of the norm. The store is clean but right off the bat the staff seem very disconnected. My order was taken wrong a couple times and the staff just didn't seem to be paying attention to the order since they were more engaged with what they were gossiping about. Life machine was down here too so clearly mis managed by who ever the shift leader or manager is. Food is great though. I have no complaints about that. It was my first time placing an order online through the website, and the order went through seamlessly, including the code. The light to turn into the plaza, from 17th St, took even longer than the time for me to order online and grab my fries from the counter. It was easy to find parking near the front of the restaurant. I was greeted immediately as I stepped into the restaurant, very welcoming! As I approached the counter, I mentioned that I had placed an order online (with my name) and the employee grabbed it quickly for me. They asked if I would like ketchup and I also grabbed a few more napkins, from the dispenser, to the right of the registers. The to-go bag has areas where it helps "air" out the hot food and the container of fries was larger than we had expected. Raising canes is a good restraunt depends on which one you go too for example the one in Garden grove off of beach blvd they do such a good job every single. Every time i go to the one in santa ana off bristol the quality is terrible it it seems that whoever is leading the team or cooking the food does not care what they are serving there customers. Why is there ALWAYS a line in front of Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers? I had to check it out and first time tasting Raising Cane. Please don't flame me here but I did not find anything unique about it - No where near Korean fried chicken. However, I have to admit, their sauce is something different - good. Two long lines in Drive Thru and constant cars coming through. I walked inside to order. Goodness! It was full of people - which is good business! Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, hanging out and talking to their friends and family. Order your food at the register and staff called my name when it was ready. You can also order through the app on your phone. Unlimited refill station. Chicken fingers were very tender inside and crispy outside and definitely oily - coming out hot! : ) I mixed the hot sauce with Raising Cane's sauce to dip my chicken fingers. FYI - pay extra for sauce when you do not order in combo and big tray. Staff was cordial and took my order and answered a few questions that I had. A staff was walking around sweeping the floor but for some reasons did not clean the particular round table in the corner and it was greasy and smeared with sauces. Cane's has tender chicken breast tenders, solid cole slaw, fresh crinkle cut fries (ask for extra crispy...it's actually not that crispy), delicious toast (ask for double buttered), and yummy iced tea (I get 1/2 sweet tea and 1/2 unsweetened). They offer a Mother's Day and Father's Day BOGO box combo if you have a registered Cane's card, but you have to bring the card with you for it to be honored. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I had a pleasant experience the other night on 07/03 when I decided to dine in (which is very rare) I could tell that they were very busy but one of the employees, I didn't get his name but he was cleaning the dining area and restocking despite the busy rush they had. Did online order and when I arrived I was welcome from the entire staff. They were working on my order so I got my drinks ready. As I waited I notice how team was so helpful with customers and we're all so pleasant. The girl that helped me I asked for a tip jar but they don't have one. They need to have one. I have only been to Raising Cane's once. One visit is really not enough to make a reliable review. Nevertheless, here goes. Pro: This restaurant was really clean. It was clear that the employees spent a lot of time cleaning. That's also a good indication of pride. The chicken fingers were cooked just right. Not overcooked and not under cooked. Seasoning was appropriate. Pricing was reasonable. Pricing was in line with similar restaurants. Cons: The music was really loud. I could hardly hear myself think. It made ordering difficult too. Everything on the menu is fried. That's great if you are 30 but it's a bit rough if you are 68. ----------- Will I go back? Maybe. They are fine for what they are but as the say on "Chopped" it was kind of "one note". read more

After leaving a review for this location regarding charges for a refill on an Arnold Palmer, Ethan reached out. I told him after being charged one amount for the upgrade on 1/2 a cup of lemonade, then being charged more than 4 X that amount for a refill didn't seem right. He explained Canes allows for the upcharge and each location's pricing will be different. My opinion is the lemonade is a much smaller cost for the company than the other menu items and when the customer has already paid $13 bucks for a 3 strip combo and extra toast with the .30 upgrade on the lemonade, the least the business could do for the customers is offer 1 free refill. Just saying. BTW, the chicken and fries at this location on this visit was the best I've ever had at any Canes location. Crispy and hot. read more

First time trying this spot. I've heard so much hype about the chicken that I had to try it since I was in the area. I was very lucky that the drive thru was not insane. I have heard of people waiting for about an hour. Totally worth it after trying, but not sure if I could commit to that. I ordered the 3 piece meal with fries and toast. The chicken was juicy and had just the right amount of breading. Fries were good. The toast was surprisingly so good. I usually don't eat buttered bread, but since it was my first time I had to go all in. Lastly, the sauce on the side was sooo damn good! I bypassed my ketchup and dipped my fries in it. Not sure what it was called, but it was too good and worth it. They offer Louisiana hot sauce for the chicken. It paired well with the special sauce and wasn't too spicy. Arnold palmer for the win!
