    3 pc chicken meal
    Lucy D.

Sadly, came to Raising Canes and regretting my life choices. we spent $24 on two meals, and had a sad fry serving. (Photo included.) The chicken strips were good in taste but lacking in texture. 2/10 do not recommend! FYI: Canes has new packaging that literally promotes shrinking portions... under the fries there is a lifted section to make it appear as though there are more fries.

This Cane's chain in Rancho San Diego needs a loud wake-up call! The 3-piece chicken 'tenders' were just awful. Mushy and bland. The chicken itself was very low quality. Most definitely they were not 'tenderloin' cuts. The breading Cane's uses on the chicken has no discernible seasoning, giving this chicken no flavor whatsoever. Since the fry time was too short, the chicken ended up being soggy and flavorless. The biggest issue with the crinkle cut fries was that they were soggy, not crisp. They were no comparison to In n Out's fresh-cut fries. Indeed, I suspect the fries came from a frozen, cheap-quality bag. To add insult to injury, because the fries were so over-salted with a heavy hand, they were inedible. The cole slaw? Watery and also flavorless. This was my first time at Raising Cane's Chicken and it will be my last. There are too many other better chicken shops in San Diego to give your hard-earned money to, so I would skip this place. A ton of empty calories you don't need. It's a one and done for me.

It was my first time at Raising Canes! I have been missing out on this delicious food for so long!!!! My kiddo loved it too! The sauce is so good! Service was fast and staff was friendly. Definitely stop here when you have a chance! [[HIGHLIGHT]]No indoor dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Good food, [[HIGHLIGHT]]very clean restaurant[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and courteous customer service in the drive-thru. The dipping sauce is my favorite.

Dude was on his phone at least 3 minutes while my son waited for a lemonade (upcharge) refill.

1st time here and was shocked at how pathetic it is. How is your food lower quality than Walmart brand froze fries and chicken strips? Cashier, do you want lemonade. Yes please just a half a cup my son likes to mix flavors. Pay and see on the receipt an upcharge for a half of a cup of lemonade?? Y'all are paying that much more for lemonade than all other drinks?? So I ensure my son will get a refill of it, yet the cashier stood there on his phone as my son waited. My son returned to the table and says he doesn't see me (my son is 5ft 6in so taller than the counter). I send my son back and another employee helped my son while the cashier was still on his phone, please see the pictures. The chicken was not crispy, it was not raw, but needed more time to cook. Average flavor. Frozen chicken strips from Walmart are 5x better than these, and bigger. The fries were mostly floppy and undercooked also. What is so special about the sauce that it is so restricted to a tiny cup?? Like why not give enough sauce for 4 little chicken strips. The bread is bland and soft, typically bread would be dipped in gravy or have butter to put on it, nope just dry bread to eat. ‍ Be nice if they had just chicken, fries, and drink option. Keep the bread and bland coleslaw. It'll save a fork from the landfill also. Add another strip and fries for the same price, properly cook the food, 2 sauce cups, and this would maybe be a 3 star meal. Oh and ask if we want to upgrade to a lemonade. It was nothing special. I've made fresh squeezed lemonade and this was not it. There is no reason I'd ever go back. $27 for 2 mediocre meals. I can buy 5x the food frozen at Walmart and toss in an airfryer at home and have it be crispy. And have BBQ sauce as my preferred sauce to dip. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restrooms were very dirty and out of TP, glad they had seat covers to make due with...[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I bet this place could be better with a better manager. Don't bother replying to have me call you, do a better job of running a business and ensuring the food is cooked properly. I wouldn't go back for free food at this location. The other low reviews are accurate as I experienced.

As someone who helped open the Santee location several years ago, I know firsthand how much hard work goes into running a Raising Cane's. So, when the Rancho San Diego location opened just 8 minutes away from home (dangerous, I know), I was beyond excited! I've visited this location several times, and every visit is consistently excellent. The chicken is always piping hot, the fries are perfectly crispy, and the Texas toast? Perfectly toasted--just don't forget to ask for butter on both sides for that extra flavor boost! And, of course, the Cane's Sauce ties everything together beautifully. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also love the fun and inviting atmosphere inside. The décor is playful and unique, and the music adds a lively vibe to the dining experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're a Cane's fan, this location delivers everything you love about the brand. Highly recommend!

I was back in town and decided to drop by and pick up the CANIAC COMBO- 6 Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, 2 Cane's Sauce®, Texas Toast, Coleslaw, Large Fountain Drink/Tea (32 oz.) Substituted the coleslaw for another piece of Texas Toast. The prices must have gone up cause that cost $17.27! That didn't bother me, what shocked me was when I arrived home and opened up the box, the chicken tenders were MINI size! They must've shrunk! lol Seems like the value went down. Wow. That was disappointing.

Ordered pick up from their new location in El Cajon/Rancho

Mostly a poor rating because they up charge for lemonade and then try to charge for refills of it. I honestly felt that it was a bit shady.

My husband and I have driven past many times and always felt curious. So finally we made a stop on our way home. Let me just say, it did not disappoint! The workers were very friendly and patient with us while we decided on what to order. Once we finished ordering, they actually let you play a game of chance to see if your meal is free! Roll the dice and if you get double fives it's on them. I did not win but I thought that was fun! I cannot stress this enough, the food was amazing! It's definitely a MUST try! Just be warned; cause like I said before this is a food cart in the parking lot of a liquor store. Nothing wrong with it but there isn't a lot of sit down options or anything like that. So if you're looking for a place to stay a while and sit to enjoy your meal. This place might have to wait for another day!

The concept is definitely unique. Their menu includes burgers, wraps, shawarma wraps, and street corn, with the option to add Hot Cheetos or Doritos to several menu items. I ordered the: *Doritos Grilled Chicken Breast Wrap: it comes served over a bed of French fries tossed with Doritos seasoning. The fries were flavorful, fresh, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The wrap itself was good, but I was expecting a much stronger Doritos flavor. There wasn't much of that signature taste inside the wrap, so it felt like a missed opportunity considering the concept. You can also upgrade your order with street corn mixed with Hot Cheetos or Doritos for an additional $2.99. My total, including tip, came to a little over $18. While that's a bit on the pricey side, the wrap was massive and easily enough for two meals. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes, and everything tasted fresh. Overall, it's a fun and creative concept with generous portions. I just wish they'd lean into the theme a bit more by adding more of that bold Doritos flavor to the wrap itself.
