I had breakfast here. I ordered the #17 Awesome Breakfast sandwich which came with seasoned spuds and a small beverage. I didn't get the beverage because I already had a coffee from the Coffee Shop. The breakfast came on a Mexican torta bun, scrambled eggs, bacon, and American cheese. The breakfast sandwich was okay. The eggs were well scrambled and lightly seasoned, but the bacon could have been better. It was not crispy but just very chewy. Also, it was haphazardly placed over the egg. The bread could of used a better toasting, too. It was soft all the way through. It was missing the good crunch underneath. The "spud" were very disappointing because they gave me French Fries. When the menu stated "Seasoned Spuds" that signaled to me seasoned roasted chopped potatoes, not French fries. To make matters worse, the fries were not very good. They did not have a good texture and did not have a good crispiness. I threw them away. The service was friendly at the counter, but they do take their time here. I'll preference with that I actually have not had a burger here. I've had the grilled cheese and soup. I don't know what the soup is made of, but it's not edible. It's like pizza sauce with a lot of black pepper maybe. Grilled cheese was dry. Not sure how you ruin a grilled cheese, right?! Have also had the chicken tenders which are dry and from Cisco, not made at there. The best item so far, the Buffalo chicken fries. Have had them twice. First time, amazing, truly! I came hungry on a Sunday morning to eat at the buffet but unfortunately, was told they were reservation based only and I didn't get the opportunity to try their seafood buffet. I headed over to the food court and saw the burgers and shake has the longest queue of all the food court selections and decided to give it a try. I got the bacon hickory duo with onion rings and was impressed with quality of the burger I received. It was less than $20 with a side and tasted better than most gourmet burger joints I've had within the city. Onion rings had great crispy skin and the burger patties were well seasoned cooked medium rare. Food court doesn't allow smoking so you can enjoy your meal without smoke everywhere. Make a casino card and get 10% or more off depending on your card status. Order at the kiosk to avoid the long lines. read more

We've been here a few times. The Burgers are ok, service is a little slow and not always friendly. You might get Fries when you ask for Onion Rings. Fries and Onion Rings are good and the Chicken Strips look good. Prices are very fair and you get a discount with your Players Card. The Food Court has plenty of seating and is clean. This is one of the few things that are good at this casino The service here is always exceptional they are always busy so sometimes it's kinda hectic but they always go above and beyond when it comes to helping me out. I only wish I could say the same for the casino. I wouldn't recommend the casino when it comes to good service but I would definitely recommend this place to eat. All the workers are always friendly and helpful. I can only hope that the casino shows their appreciation to them more then the casino does for it's players. read more

Inside Jamul Casino, this is the only place that's always open. They serve many different items but I've only tried the burgers, chicken sandwiches and hot dogs. It is convenient and you can use any casino comps here also. Once you place your order, your name and receipt number will be seen above on a screen. This is a great idea, probably taken from the DMV... I like it though. When it's ready, you head right to the front and pickup your order with a smile and a thank you. The food seems pretty consistent and seems to be the preferred place of many. Burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches are very fresh tasting, although at times lacking seasoning. Nothing a little salt and pepper can't fix. I rarely add salt to anything, but I'm finding this to be more necessary since many establishments do not want to over-season foods due to dietary restrictions people have. Add to the fact that casino goers are typically older so this makes sense. You can always add flavor but you can't subtract it. Does that even make sense? To me it does and hopefully to you too. read more

Ordered a Rueben sandwich tonight and it was basically a corned beef sandwich with cabbage. Who serves a Rueben without sauerkraut? In the past, they have taken way too long to serve me one order of chicken strips; over 30 minutes as I watched people who ordered after me get their food. My boyfriend ordered a complicated order after me and got his food and ate it well before my one order of chicken tenders came out. And that is not the only time I waited way too long for food. I get it when it's extremely busy, you're going to wait but when multiple orders after yours are served up, they clearly aren't managing their queue of orders properly. Customer service is hit or miss. Some of the people are great; others are downright rude. Food quality is also hit or miss. Sometimes the burgers are delicious, sometimes they are better suited for use as hockey pucks. The Taqueria next door is a far better choice for the same budget. A little more money but Emerald's, the Chinese place, is amazing. read more

When I visit Jamul Casino, this is my go to place to eat. They provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have only tried the breakfast items. This time I ordered the 2 eggs any way you like, choice of 2 bacon or 2 Sausages, breakfast potatoes, bisquit, and a choice of a small drink. The staff is very friendly and the food is really delicious. Everything is cooked made to order. The food is steaming hot when you get it. Just the way I like it. This breakfast meal cost me less than $10.00 . I find that is a good price point for the amount of food and how delicious it is. You will not be disappointed Yelpers. My friend invited to Jamul Casino, so when we got there, we wanted something quick to eat. I looked at all the options in the food court area-there were tacos, pizza, a sports bar, and some pastries. The burgers looked the most enticing, so we ended up sharing the duo burger, fries, and a shake. My friend chose the peanut butter cup shake and it was nice and thick. I love coming here cause their food is pretty good! This place is open 24/7! It's convenient and good cause if I'm hungry, I will go here. I came here for breakfast and got the grilled cheese with tomato bisque. I got the combo which comes with a small drink and fries. The grilled cheese was so good and bread was crunchy. There was so much cheese inside. The French fries were hot and fresh. I washed my food down with lemonade. I have tried other items here and everything I have had is good. Plenty of seating right in front. They have a ketchup dispenser and napkins right next to the location.i come here majority of the time if we don't dine in at Tony Gwynn next door. If you are over the age of 50years young or a military member, Jamul Casino will give you a free Duo Combo which is a double cheeseburger, chicken or fish sandwich meal with fries and a drink (sorry, shakes are extra) plus $10 free play after earning 50 points with your players card. This establishment replaced Ruby's Diner at the Jamul Casino Food Court not too long ago. What's interesting and impressive are their handmade shakes. I'm curiously eager to try their Bananas Foster with Hennessy VS priced at $10.75. The others are only priced at $9.75 and they include Vanilla with Double Bourbon, The White Russian with Kahlúa and Vodka, The Mudslide with Kahlúa, vodka, and Baileys, and The Grasshopper Shake with Crème de Menthe & Vodka. Don't these all sound intriguingly delicious? On second thought, I think I'll try each one of them! They feature a shake of the month which for April 2019 happens to be Bananas Foster. If you are in a hurry, be prepared to allot some extra time as their hearty meals may take an extra minute or two to perfect. If you enjoy Rally's French fries, their fries are somewhat similar. Which they would use a different brand of ketchup as I found it to be more on the sour side but ranch compliments their fries pretty well too. Waited over an hour for our food. (At a fast food restaurant at that.) Was giving them the benefit of the doubt for the first 30 minutes and there weren't very many names on the screen to show the orders were ready. I went up to the counter to see what the wait was and they said it wasn't ready. I went up 15 minutes later and asked another person ( he said he was the manager) if our food was ready and he was very defensive and said he just got there and everyone was waiting 45 minutes or more. I pointed out that there were at least 10 numbers that were after us that got their food. He said the numbers didn't matter. All these other people were picking up their orders in the mean time. He finally asked the cooks where our food was and it wasn't even made yet. By this time it was about an hour! They forgot to make our order! He wasn't even apologetic and said that we could cancel it or have them rush our order. Since we were hungry and waited that long already I said to rush it. Another 10 to 15 minutes passes by and another worker checks and it is finally ready! The "Manager" had the worst customer service, had to ask for a refill on our drinks since we waited so long and he didn't even try to compensate us for the mishap. Out of all the restaurants at Jamul Casino, this definitely was the worst customer service. Never eating there again! read more
