I hate this place now. It just is a 50/50 roll of the dice these days. The "OneLove" thing here is a joke sometimes. It used to be value. Now it's just another chicken place. So, let's get through it. Food: While the fingers are hot and fresh each time, which I will give credit and a star for, more often than not they hide measly little sad, small chicken fingers that resemble more of a nugget than a finger in your box. Literally one I got recently was as big as my pinky finger. And the funny thing is they don't care at all about giving that to you. It does not matter to them. But the funny thing to me is I go complain about it and get more chicken. So why are you giving unacceptably small fingers to your paying customers when prices are this high - yet again raised recently? When you're paying $16.59, that is not gonna cut it. I've also caught them holding back on "extra fries" when you sub for coleslaw. Again, this is an issue of value and customer experience - no care at all. Until you make them fix it. And they will fix it. Again, credit given for fixing it. I also love how they ask at the window if you want ketchup or hot sauce, and then don't put it in the bag. The issue here is the workers are not paying attention or caring about order correctness and quality. Let's get to the staff. Managers OK. Some window workers OK. Some kitchen staff OK. But I am starting to see why quality and care are going down quickly with Cane's. Take a look at who is in the back making the food. Younger kids who do not care about what you get. All they know how to do is fill the box (hit or miss) and pass it on without a care. You get what you get. I would question if some care about anything at all. The One Love they have is cutting up so much in the back, talking and not paying attention, that customer order quality suffers. And when you bring it up they can sometimes have an attitude coming out the kitchen, especially with the younger employees who literally do not care and have edgy attitudes toward customers. And this is who Todd Graves is OK with employing in his restaurants; honestly I don't think he cares either nowadays. One Love of taking money and giving less and less in return. It's not the Canes I once knew. "OneLove" is just a corporate slogan that really doesn't come out in the chicken anymore. The only thing Raising here are the prices and blood pressure; because it certainly is not customer value. I hate this place more and more with each visit and will eventually stop coming here altogether. I keep giving it chances and it's just not worth it anymore. There are way better chicken meals out there. Restaurant atmosphere is OK. Disappointing experience is one too many. I don't expect a response at all; not interested in one. read more

We often eat at Raising Cane's, but today I ordered 2- Big Boxes & an Extra Bobbed Bread.I rec'd my order through Drive Through.I only rec'd 1 Coleslaw.The young lady that took the order was so fast. Always great to find a Raising Cane's, this time while we were in Ponchatoula/Hammond. It's amazing that this fast food chain is #2 nationally in sales per restaurant. The menu is very limited (basically fresh not frozen chicken fingers, fries, and texas toast) but everything is consistently done well and food comes out fast. Great to see this chain continuing to be founder-led and owned, which is the best business model for staying true to high quality for the customer. read more

So I stop at any/every Cane's Chicken I can on my way traveling as we have none in Florida and when I say the chicken is delicious- that may be an understatement. They only fry the tenders so don't come here looking for grilled stuff. You gets some fries and Texas style toast but ohhhhhh the juicy chicken. Cane's has such a great reputation- but this location was a disappointment. The ice tray at the fountain dispenser was overflowing with ice, and tables and seats needed wiping off. There were many employees behind the counter - but they were not all busy. Chicken fingers were ok- but still not what I expected. Sorry - I've been to other Cane's that were better. Here the chicken is hot. The French fries are hot. The toast is everything and I mean everything. The sweet tea is ok. I always ask for them to replace the cold slaw with toast. Customer is always good. Food is always fresh. I would recommend this locate as well. read more

Plus, the chicken is always fresh and delicious. This Hammond location is one of the finest I've ever been to. New, clean, and the food is always exactly as ordered, plus hot and fresh. Good place but only if you really like chicken fingers. No other options to choose from if the kids don't like it. Also they started charging extra if you want their sauce. Like all Raising Cane's this is a chicken fingers place. They also have fries, Texas toast and slaw as sides and the best part is the dipping sauce. That said, this is not my regular Cane's but I did stop here on a road trip. I stopped at about 3:00 on a Saturday and they were busy, but not lunch time busy. The staff was great, polite, greeted my, the whole nine. For some reason though the order took much longer than at most Cane's, thus the star demotion. The food was good and consistent with other Cane's locations. So overall, great, just slow. read more

Raising Canes. Probably the best chicken I have ever eaten. Better than Popeyes, KFC and any other chicken place. From their crispy and juicy chicken, to their fries, and sauce, to their delicious and I repeat delicious bread. (I always order extra bread) I can't imagine how much calories this has but hey once in a while can't hurt. Love, Love, Love and definitely recommend any Canes Restaurant. read more
