Firehouse Subs, hey little PSA! I didn't realize this place was showing such poor management skills and the staff not providing quality orders! I ordered a TURKEY BACON "RANCH" sandwich for lunch, but it wasn't ranch -- more like some kind of honey mustard. I don't have time to come back and get it remade. When I called, they told me they can't do anything unless I bring the sandwich back right now. I said, "I can't do that, and gas isn't free!" They just said, "Oh well, that's our policy." So basically, they can mess up your food and still expect you to pay for it! I'm really tired of places making mistakes and expecting the customer to pay for them. This was at the Hammond location. The sandwich cost $15 and was ruined. Yes, I got frustrated because they kept saying it's their policy. But the policy should be to make sandwiches correctly or at least not inconvenience customers. Then some guy on the phone said he was the manager. When I asked for his name, he started saying this is ridiculous and kept cutting me off. Meanwhile, a girl in the background called someone else and said there was a lady on the phone having a full-on meltdown. I wasn't upset until they got rude to me, cutting me off saying "oh well," and expected me to just drop everything and rush back. They basically told me, "Well, I messed up, and you need to come back to fix it, otherwise you're out of luck." The guy said, "Ma'am, sorry, but we're busy!" When I picked up my order, there were only three customers and three workers there. The management and staff are unprofessional, and it's disappointing to see such poor service. Use to go here all the time and the people there were so polite and knew who i was. Never had this happen before. Really sad read more

The pork round sandwich with coleslaw is AMAZING!!!!!! The pork on it is perfect. The bun is so soft and sweet and the slaw is sweet. Kisses to that sandwich. read more

So far I've tried the Premium Roast Beef sub and the Hook & Ladder sub which is Turkey breast and honey ham. Everything was very fresh and delicious. I've ordered online everytime and went in and picked up my order quick. Customer service was great and the restaurant looked very clean. I also had the brownies and I think I'm now hooked on them lol The prices are also very reasonable. I'll definitely be returning. read more

I had given previously rated this place as having horrible service and it was true. But the people they have now are awesome! Always smiling and after a couple of visits they greeted me by name when I walked in. Got my food ready way faster than any of the previous crews! This is a prime example of people make the business not the brick and motor. Keep up the good works guys! read more

I love Firehouse. The meats are just the best quality and delicious. No comparison to any other sub place. (I will also admit that I eat the salads, not the subs) They also really have GREAT SALADS when done correctly. Again I really like the food , However, if you've seen my reviews, you'll notice I have had a bad experience in the past. Therefore I felt I needed to write this review. This Firehouse location is one of the BEST locations I've ever been to. I've been here many times, and each visit has been a really good experience. I leave smiling and pleased with my food. The staff is the friendliest, most concerned I've ever seen. They want you to be happy and show it! They always go above and beyond to get you exactly what you want and to ensure that your visit is a good one. One employee even remembers my salad order - in detail. You just don't find staff that pays this much attention and cares about their customers enough to do this very much. It makes you feel like you're visiting friends. They get 5 Stars from me, and deserve each one of them. read more

I always enjoy eating here, good food and a step above subway, better than Quizno's. I love how they support firefighter's & first responders. They aim to make tasty food that is Health conscious, it doesn't weigh you down. They have a wide variety of condiments and drink options including fresh brewed sweet & unsweet teas. I make an Arnold Palmer out of the lemonade & unsweet tea :) Cookies, chips, brownies too. They're always fast & friendly, and they do catering as well. Very clean, plenty of seating. The food was excellent! The bread was so fresh you can definitely tell the difference from the bread at other fast food sandwich shops! I was pleasantly surprised how great the food was! The customer service was wonderful also! You can definitely tell that the owner is involved! Honestly, I'm very picky and look at everything when I go into a restaurant or business. The inside was super clean as well as the bathroom. Will definitely drive from covington to this location to eat again! Employees keep up the great work and wonderful customer service! There are still people out here that notices! Not many businesses are like this one anymore. Most food businesses have gone downhill, but not this one! read more

We are Subway regulars on the West Coast, but got a coupon at the football game, after talking to a really nice lady and heard one of our friends liked it. I ordered one of the less than 500 calorie sandwiches and absolutely loved it! My husband ordered the one that sounded like a Philly Cheese Steak. (I can't remember the name of either one.) Probably because he was expecting something more like the original, he said it was "okay" - but he sure ate all of it! The service was excellent and staff all super friendly!! Given the choice, I would chose this over our standby Subway - but, alas, there are no Firehouse Subs in Oregon. read more

We were greeted at the door by the employees and asked immediately if we would like help with anything. After reviewing the menu, we placed our order and received friendly service by the cashier. Once we paid for our order, we sat down and within minutes our order was carried to us. Twice, an employee came to our table to ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. It is a chain. Great service here in Hammond. Love their sandwhiches. More than a stepbup from subway. I'd recommend their beef and cheddar briskit sub add jalapeños. All their sub's are amazing though. read more
