I went in with a their75-year cup Whataburger, and I was yelled at "No Refills" so I did not use my cup. I ate and left with not happy. I will stop eating at Whataburger i did call the 1-800-628-2743 It sounded like they did not care to hear of my complaint. So, if they don't care at 1-800 who -Care why should I eat here anymore. Never had it before and had to try it since I live in Texas. Hashbrowns are hashbrowns in my opinion as there wasn't much difference from others, it felt light on the salt which I liked though. The biscuit was on point and liked that I got extra honey cream spread as that was what made it great, the chicken was mild. If I can have a spicy Chick-fil-A with biscuit from whataburger it would be the best. I'll be back next time for just the biscuit as it was worth it for just that and they sell it separate. I ordered 2 jr whataburger with cheese, extra sauce. I got 2 dry ass burger after waiting for 14 minutes. My two favorite things are Texas and Texas. This review is long overdue; When I say this I'm talking all locations. Unpopular opinion: Whataburger is not all that..it's mediocre at best. Def not worth the long wait and after waiting forever for food that's "made to order" it def gets cold fast and all the employees look miserable which causes this to have a rude demeanor and poor customer service making the overall experience less than ideal. Recently at another location I had a decent experience so for that location I'll leave a separate review but on every occasion that I've come to this one it's horrible. Tried using the mobile app to order, and it said to pick up in about 10 minutes. Get to the restaurant to be told the mobile app doesn't work and the order did not go through. Showed them that it charged my account and was told it doesn't matter because the order did not go through, and I would have to reorder. Also, I was told that the charge would be reversed. I guess I'll have to see if that happens. So, trying to cut down on wait time using the app did not work. Also, witness a couple of customers getting upset because they had been waiting over ten minutes to get their orders, which is definitely a long wait for a "fast" food place. I ordered a plain bacon cheeseburger. It was tasty (for a fast food restaurant) with their spicy ketchup. Other reviews mentioned long wait times. This was NOT my experience. I arrived around noon and it was incredibly busy. Lots of people on the inside, long line, and several mobile orders. To help with this, one of the workers came out with a handheld device to take orders/process payments. It's literally 5:50 AM and the doors are locked and it is still taking 30 minutes to get to the menu board and there is only 3 cars on the premises.. We do all understand that staffing isn't the same since covid but when you see 3 staff members just chilling and not helping people it's pretty uncomfortable. Online order customers entering the premises, shouting reports of 40 minute waits in their numbered parking space, only to be told the grill is temporarily out of commission. Patrons at the counter in disbelief, urging staff to find a way to conjure up a double with cheese. A growing drive-thru line, with drivers unaware of the predicament. As a service to My Fellow Man, I walked the length of the line from the door to my car, waiving at drivers to roll down their window so I could deliver the news. You'd be surprised how many people simply won't acknowledge someone trying to get their attention. I did hang out for a few to witness the chaos, but thought it prudent to bail before a full scale riot ensued. The shift manager will be telling stories to his grandkids about that day. read more

This WB location needs help. I pulled up to the drive through today mid-afternoon on a Sunday with about 4-5 cars ahead. Usually, this is no big deal at a WB. But, I sat in the line over 20 mins with no movement ahead. WTH? So, because I could, I backed out and went inside. A moderate line was again ahead of me. The first thing ai noticed was a single, young girl taking the orders with "0" enthusiasm or smile; who in fact, shrugged her shoulders at a co-worker who came to speak with her (I assumed it was her manager). She then stepped away, and the other employee, a hooded male, took my order. He asked me how my day was going, at least. After that, I sat in the lobby waiting for my order with several others and watched the chaos going on in the kitchen. Apparently, orders weren't going out and a raised male voice then boomed that the staff should "get going; things were backing up". I watched a full kitchen of staff giggling with each other, standing around and looking very lost about their duties. A very bad look for the location. This is the last straw, 0 stars if I could. After a long day the wife and I were really looking forward to a #1 and #2 combos. Usually this location is packed but today we pulled in and got to order right away. So far so good. We get to the window the young man verifies our order. Again so far so good. We get our food and start heading home. The food smells good and I can feel my mouth getting watery like Pavlovs dogs. We get home set the food on the counter and I hear my wife yell...WTF!!! And this is where everything goes from good the Bad. My wife doesn't normally drop the F bomb so I knew something was really wrong. I look in the bags she was starring into, I see burgers, I see ketchup, I see a straw, but I don't see any fries. The look on my wife's face said it all, they forgot the fries. How do you forget to put fries in the bag? As I'm writing this my wife is inside giving them the business. Don't mess with mama bear when she Hangry. Unfortunately this is not the first time we've had issues with this location. We ask for no onions and we get onions, we ask for a coke and we get Dr Pepper, or we ask for a large and we get a medium. This is the last straw, we won't be back to this location.
