Upon entering I noticed a very large menu posted on the wall and took a few minutes to look at it. They offer a variety of comfort foods such as: * Appetizers/soups/salads * B.Y.O. sandwiches/wings/ribs * Platters/family meal deals/lunch specials * Cold beverages/beer/wine There's a small window counter for takeout orders near the large dining area where you can seat yourself. I greeted a nice female employee and placed an order for the 6pc wings lunch special that was served with bbq sauce, curly fries, and a drink with ranch on the side. While waiting, there were people steadily coming to pick up their order...giving me the impression that the food was probably good. When I finally received my food, I quickly opened the container to start indulging and quiet my growling stomach...quick pause...okay, the wings are really small. Some pieces were tender while others were a bit dry. The bbq sauce covering the wings wasn't as sweet as I would like it to be, but it was ok. The curly fries was thin and didn't have that fulfilling crispness that I love in thicker cut fries. I managed to eat half of the contents and save the rest for later. This is a no frills restaurant that's been around for years. I typically opt for the wing lunch special which includes 10 wings and a side for a decent price. I love the trifecta wing flavor, it reminds me of another local restaurant that's closed nearly all its doors in the last year. I would recommend you ask the fries to be well done, if you like them crunchy. They also have good prices on the their beers. The service is ok, sometime you have to wait - especially if you sit outside. In their defense, there are signs that ask patrons to walk inside if they haven't been seen for a while. Paying for the bill is done diner style where you pay upfront at the register. Overall it's a great spot to grab a quick bite for lunch. read more

We loved this "no frills" wings place! If you're looking for a fine dining establishment then you need to keep on looking but if you want good food then check this place out. We visited on a Sunday and were excited to still be able to order off the lunch menu. The food came out fast and piping hot. All of it was really good. They have Coke and Pepsi! Wings had a liquid on the bottom of the bowl we believe they were soaked in butter not sure, we transfered them to another bowl. Burger rolls were stale and fries were soaked in grease. I recently visited home and tried this place because it's been at least 25 years since I'd been there. I will never set foot in there again. The three young girls running the cash register at the front had zero customer service skills. Two completely ignored me until a third came up and asked about a take out order. If I hadn't already ordered over the phone, I would have turned and left. In fact, I should have done that. The food was awful. The wings were tough and dry somehow even though they were swimming in sauce. The fries were a wet, greasy clump of curly potatoes. They could have been good but it seemed like they were dumped straight from the fryer basket and into a bag and not drained at all. They were disgusting. I've been coming here for over 5 years now. The wings are amazing, juicy & cooked perfectly. The fries are curly and fresh. We also get the corn nuggets which are yummy. The staff is awesome. The same staff has been there a long time, so that says a lot. The issue is... the ambiance... you have to have tunnel vision. They have carpet floors which have spots on them, but that can be overlooked by the taste of the food... the bathrooms need help. They need to be redone. Everything is old in the bathroom. Wings was the #1 choice for lunch today while visiting family nearby. This was the perfect place to enjoy some tasty food indeed! Upon arrival staff treated us like their family. Overall service was excellent and the entire staff were friendly and professional. Our server Ashley helped ensure my families dining experience was a very enjoyable and relaxing one. Love this place! They have been the standard for wings in Broward County for over 4 decades with the first location in Wilton Manors. I strongly suggest eating at the restaurant because wings & fries don't travel well and there's nothing like fresh hot crispy wings eaten right away! I read in some newspaper article that this is one of the best places for wings in south Florida. Today, I decided to check them out for lunch, it actually had a decent about of people dining in at noon on a Monday. There's lots of tables and a good size dining room. They have a separate takeout window as well. I ordered 10 wings, all drums. They cook them pretty crispy, just the way I like it, however, they had an old greasy taste to them, and were quite dark brown in color. I have a feeling they needed to buy new oil in the fryer. The medium wing sauce was pretty good, with just a little kick to it. The celery and seeded blue cheese was average. I did not like that some wings were tiny, where others were a decent size. Compared to Wings Plus (another local favorite), I don't think this place is that great. Also, what I really didn't like, is that the minimum tip is 20% on a takeout receipt to sign. I know it's optional but they have a lot of nerve putting the minimum at that amount. read more

Pretty good spot to get wings. I ordered Lemon Pepper & Honey Cajun w/ Minced Garlic. The wings were fried crispy which I usually don't do but this time I just wanted to try it out as is because my brotha Mike recommended it for me. The Lemon Pepper has a lot of butter in it so keep that in mind and the Honey Cajun was a custom flavor I came up with. The wings were alright, they were good... nothing too crazy or unbelievable but I enjoyed it enough to maybe make the trip back out east to visit again sometime... and if I do I'll get something more spicy. This place has been here forever! I think I even used to go here with my ex so that's ancient! For some reason I was craving chicken wings so we came here. They've redone it a bit. At least replacing the carpet, so it doesn't smell like cigarettes like it used to do. Although people do go right out side the front door to smoke. And there is an outside patio now so maybe (not sure) it's pet friendly too. Anyhow, it's a basic menu of wings and things as the name suggests. It's a very casual place -- jeans or anything permitted. And they still have a unique feature - which the kids will love - a miniature train. The track is high up near the ceiling so no worries, but it travels around through the restaurant and entertains awhile your waiting for your order. Service is fairly fast. We just got (each) a 10 piece order. They come on 6 or even a family size. I got their lemon pepper medium; he got raspberry hot. They're not as good as those from the original Chez Porky's which was across the street, but will do when you're craving grease. The lemon pepper were very peppery so I rinsed them off a bit in the sauce in the bottom of the basket. Luckily, lots of napkins are provided. They have lunch specials and daily specials so check the boards or ask your servers. Even salad eaters can find some options. It's a neighborhood place.
