Dr Gupta is a very nice and friendly doctor. I like him a lot. The only reason why I'm giving this place a 3 star is because every time you call them, they would place you on hold for 15+ mins without coming to the line to inform you. Sometimes when you call the line is always busy. Another reason is because the staff tells you they will call you back but doesn't or call you back 3+ days later which to me is too late. After submitting all requested paperwork, including identification and insurance information, I was scheduled for an appointment three months in advance. I was later contacted and informed that the doctor was no longer accepting new patients. Being placed on a long wait list and then dismissed after months of delay shows poor administrative judgment and a lack of consideration for patients' time and stress. This review is more a tale of note to people considering this doctor's office. I cannot review the doctor themselves as I never got to see it. I am suffering from real neurological problems. I got an appointment in end of April 2025 to see this doctor. It was 2 months to wait. I waited enduring my medical issue knowing specialists are long waits to see. 1 week before my appointment the appointment was pushed 1 month. Then the DAY before my appointment I get a call from this office saying my insurance Blue Cross Premera was not the same Blue Cross Anthem they take. Their website doesn't clarify this difference. My Premera insurance says Dr Gupta is approved and in network. This office waited to check insurance the day before. I thought based on their website and my insurance everything was good. But instead of checking 3 months ago when I make the appointment they waited the day before. I lost those 3 months suffering with my condition and I can't get back that time. Please if you consider using this office, call and verify your insurance with them do not expect them to do it asap or early as you might lose time if they decide to check the day before and say no we can't see you. You would think the basic steps in managing a medical practice before giving out appointments is verification of insurance so you do not waste patient's time. Especially if your appointment wait time is 2-3 months to be seen. I would recommend people to avoid this doctor and seek other neurologists who have proper procedures in place so they don't hurt patients like they did me and took away 3 months that I don't get back. read more

I have to agree with many other reviewers--this office has some of the worst front office staff I've ever encountered. The experience was disorganized and frustrating. I saw the doctor's special assistant, who said they would order a CPAP machine for me. Waited four weeks and No follow-up. I called the office and tried to explain the situation to a staff member named Paul. After 20 minutes of repeating myself, he finally connected me to another office staff who, after another 10 minutes of finding my records, told me that he will refer me to a nearby CPAP vendor and would text me the contact immediately. Guess what? No Text after hours. I tried to call the office at 2:40 pm just now and no one picks up the phone. The lack of professionalism and patient care in this office is truly appalling. If the doctor(s) don't mind their reputation being tarnished by the grossly incompetent office staff, and you value your time, your health, and competent care, maybe you should consider looking elsewhere. read more

Worse office staff ever. No one is organized or seems to know what is going on. They never keep appointments, always calling to cancel and reschedule. Prior authorizations never done on time. Staff never calls back when they say they will. As an RN myself, I'm appalled at the lack of care any of the staff has for patients. I made appointment on March 21st for May 6th only to receive phone call and text message on May 3rd that appointment was canceled since Dr Gupta is not taking my insurance! This was very unpleasant surprise to say at least. I was referred to this clinic since they are neurology specialist and they were supposed to do some tests on my legs since i have neuropathy and I am in constant pain. After waiting for almost two months(while being in pain) appointment was canceled! This was totally unprofessional. They should look into my insurance when I called first time. At that time they asked me to text them my information (which included insurance details), which I did so there was 0 chance for mistake. I would give Dr Gupta 0 stars but it is not possible. I called this clinic a month ago to schedule an appointment ( A month ago because that's the only available appointment they have for me, I had to wait for a month to get my symptoms checked). Ever since, a lot has happened including some health changes that I end up seeing a different doctor and a new phone which means all my reminders were reset/removed. Since they don't send you any other notification or appointment reminders via email, call or text, and also since I never had a clinic schedule me a month far and without any reminders, this appointment completely slipped my head. They called me twice today and then they also called my emergency contact number (which as stated "emergency contact number") so I guess collecting a $50 no show fee is an emergency to them and then left a voice mail saying I'm no show and they'll charge me $50 for it. My insurance won't allow this charge and I never signed any documents regarding this so called "no-show" $50 fee. This experience have thought me what this clinic is all about. They had to call us three times just to leave a message that I'd have to pay a $50 fee but never called or sent any appointment reminders. I am very glad and blessed that I'm seeing a different doctor for my health that's very attentive and prioritizing his patients health. read more

They also made me wait three long months with false hope. If you have an over night sleep apnea test from 9pm - 6am you would think that they would have a number for you to call when you got to your appointment. I got to the appointment 15 minutes early and there was no easy way to contact the neurologist to open the door I had to dig around and do my research on google to finally find the correct number. I cannot believe how shocked and disgusted I am!! I was on the phone on a tele ( FaceTime )call with Dr. Raj Gupta..I tried to explain to him what was going on with me. ..At the very beginning he starts telling me that I had an MRI done which was a year ago and had nothing to do with what was going on NOW , a lot could've changed. I mentioned to him that I was probably going To follow up with the original neurologist that he had recommended and I had seen in the past. For a few minutes he seemed to be OK and prescribe me some medication and an MRI. Then I mentioned to him that my primary doctor had ordered a carotid artery test of my neck and all the sudden he just flipped out and did a total 180 on me on the phone!! He started telling me that he didn't want to see me and that I should find another doctor, that I have too many doctors or something like that??!!! WTH?!! I said what did I do wrong and he says I don't want to be your doctor and then he just clicked the whole FaceTime off with me!! That was CRUEL!!! I highly recommend you do not see this doctor because he can turn on a dime for NO reason!!! SCARY!! His staff seem to be very nice.. I don't know what's wrong with him!!! read more

I am so furious writing this, and dealing with the incompetent front desk/office staff. I've never dealt with this level of money-grubbing idiocy. Why bother giving me an appointment then? Dr. Gupta was 100% focused on my treatment and coordinated the necessary EMG test in no time. He's very thorough, provides great care, and professional. I had the worst experience with trying to get an appt with this Dr . his office constantly has to change ur appt. bcuz he is unavailable and actually has to extend ur appt so far ahead and when trying to call to set up to speak to the Dr. if u can catch him in his office you have to text ur reason and/ or speak to him regarding anything. I would choose 0 stars if that was possible. Do not visit this place. I was dizzy at work one day and went to my PCP who referred this neurologist (I don't know why this was needed for dizziness, they are all in it together. I changed my PCP immediately after). Raj Gupta first reports this to DMV so my license was revoked and I did not know until I got a letter in mail from DMV. It cannot be reinstated back unless I do some very expensive tests at this Doctor's office only since he is the one who reported it. All he says is since you had a fainting spell, it is his duty to report it. All a scam to get money. I had to do the tests and then go to DMV to get my license renewed. I don't even have to say the pain it caused for not being able to drive for few months. Not just for me but for people who rely on me to take them anywhere. I had to ask for help from friends, neighbors to take me to work and kids to school. All this so he could make some money on the tests. Shame. read more

Raj is one of the fines doctor i have ever met. I was having severe headaches for over two weeks and was unable to find a solution and then I consulted him. He diagnosed with me with upmost care and found the root care of the issue which was causing the headache. He found a permanent solution to my problem instead of providing a temporary fix. I can't thank enough Dr Raj for his expertise in diagnosing my mom's problem. I requested to get a appointment for my mom in a very last min . His office was able to get us in early morning. He did a couple of test on her and immediately asked us to take her to ER. Had it not been for his diagnosis at the right time we would have lost our mom. His timely diagnoses save her life. He has been very professional and extremely knowledgeable. My mom has recovered very well after the her brain surgery and he has been her Neuro doctor for all follow-ups . Dr. Kumar and his staff lack professionalism. They are forceful and condescending in almost every way imaginable. A good example: they won't release test results over the phone to force patients to return to the office and pay office fees. I requested that they send the results to my primary care physician. They told me that IF the doctor decided it was acceptable that my information were released, I would be able to find out a week later. So I was referred to dr gupta the place was clean and the front office staff was very nice I didn't have to wait long for my appt saw the dr he asked me a lot of medical questions which I like he did a few in office tests on me and diagnosed me with nueropathy I then gave him a list of all my meds and medical, issues he ordered a full lab work up a sleep study and a ct scan I went from 9:45 pm till 5 am u need a phone number from them so they can come down and let you in they did place me oh hold which was the only complaint I have and when someone came back online I told them how long I was waiting on hold and they helped me right then and there they also have texting if you call the main line and leave a message as to the reason why you called they will answer back and call you back . As a follow up to a previous negative review of a sleep study conducted at Dr Kumar's Pacific Neurology Center. I should have stated that my review was of the sleep study and not of Dr Kumar/Gupta. My two meetings with Dr Gupta were totally professional. I found him to be a skilled and caring doctor who was thorough in giving me the details of the procedure and the treatment options available. I believe that the conditions that I encountered during the sleep study were the result of a staff member letting Dr Gupta down. I had a horrible experience with this office. While the neurologist that I had originally seen here no longer works there, I did have a few conversations with Dr. Kumar and countless conversations with his staff (as well as several visits). They are absolutely untrustworthy when it comes to supporting you. Example: my insurance company had denied a medication that was prescribed for me here and I requested that this office resubmit the form with the correct diagnosis, as I am not allowed to do so. Two and a half months later, numerous phone calls to this office and my insurance and they STILL never resubmitted it. I called them so many times to ask where the resubmission was at and they kept blowing me off. They were even the reason behind why the pharmaceutical company that makes the medication I was supposed to receive closed down my case because THIS OFFICE told them that I wasn't going to be taking it. COMPLETE LIE and now I have to get another neurologist to re-open my case. Worse yet, when I spoke with the staff and Dr. Kumar, they refused to take any responsibility and blamed it all on my insurance company. They lack respect for their patients and their health, professionalism, the ability to effectively communicate, and cannot own up to their numerous mistakes.
