Went for the buffet last Sunday. Place was busy and bright. The buffet was decent. The service was excellent. 2 different people stopped by to ask if everything was ok. I like how they have the masala chai and drinks set up now. Samosa chat was good, most of the chicken dishes were tasty( chicken pepper fry was my favorite ) and the mutton curry was delicious. We will be back;)

Review update: Tried a few more items on the menu. For Appetizer-Punugulu, which are small balls of deep fried rice batter and rava with flavor of curry leaves, green chillies. Came as a set of 8pcs with ground nut chutney. Tasted good, but the chutney was a bit too watery. For Appetizer-Chicken pepper fry (dry) which is pan fried boneless chicken pieces with onion, chili, black pepper and other ingredients. Usually tastes good, but this time the chicken tasted a bit old. For entrée- Kadai Chicken (gravy) with naan bread. The curry is Bonesless chicken cooked with onions, bell pepper, tomatoes and spices. Tasted good.

Please improve some quality of food, veg biryani there is no vegetables on my order, it's only ghee biryani. There is always older kind of lady always mess up my order. Where is that young lady around under 30's forgot name I guess Vanshi something. She never ever messed up my order. Even small extra salan asked with 4 orders of biryani charged $1 but Vanshi never charged money due to she knows customer orders and business. Also put all subjee gravy one boxes upside down and many other boxes put in paper bag upside down. Some spill and we fear about leakage, we noticed on reception and asked new bag and put on correct way. That old lady such a crazy.

Delicious food and extraordinary service! We came here for dinner, and the server patiently answered our questions and recommended some dishes to us. The food was served nice and hot and not too spicy (we got medium, but might go up a level next time). We got the tikka masala with chicken, garlic naan, onion kulcha, and malabaar parotta. For drinks, we got chai which was delicious! When we finished dinner, we were told of the Sunday buffet that we also came back for. The variety was great with drinks, dishes, sides, and desserts! I recommend the brunch if you're not super familiar with Indian dishes as you can get a little taste for everything. My favorites were the lamb vindaloo and gulab jammun.

I was so excited when I saw this place because I adore South Indian food. However, they missed the mark in food quality and cleanliness.

My MIL is…read morea fantastic cook, and she made a bunch of amazing sides including Dahls, chipates, and bindi. These were meant to be ONLY side dishes. We had also bought jumbo shrimp from Costco, with heads to be the main course. (Her favorite!) This was an issue. Apparently these were disgusting and needed to be cleaned. There were so many shrimp. I'd slept exactly 1 hours the night b4 because my in-laws were jetlagged and wandering around the house and backyard at 3am. I'd also worked a full day. So I suggested take out for the main. It was unpopular, however there was no way I was letting MIL clean shrimp by herself for hours and no way I was spending the next two hours of my life helping her do it after working a full day and sleeping 1 hour. To give my husband credit, he researched this place extensively. We ordered the saag chicken, which was exceptional. It stood up to the other dishes on the table. (I have not ordered from an Indian restaurant in the Boston area that comes close to how good this spot was. My in-laws would have complained about every other spot. They liked this one.) Instead they thought it was great, and they are so difficult to please. Pray for me, tomorrow I gut perfectly lovely jumbo shrimp for their black vein and remove the head. (My husband is the one who bought these and paid extra for the head. He is doing extensive yard work involving a lot of heavy lifting, otherwise he'd be in charge of this job. I will also not be helping him, as was planned so he will suffer) Suffice it to say, 10/10 would recommend. Planning on adding it to my regular rotation. It will be approved by your Indian in-laws. (Also don't buy fancy shrimp for them!)

Our waiter was super nice, the heater wasn't working so he put us at a table right next to their space heater, which was thoughtful. We went during the week and were seated right away. They have a vegetarian dinner for 2 special which was perfect for sharing for our family of 4. It came with papads, 2 curries, rice, naan, and gulab jamun. Our food came out quick and flavorful. I've definitely had more authentic Indian food, but this was good quality with a diverse variety of North Indian options. The naans were soft and fluffy, the curries (malai kofta and saag channa) were the right amount of spicy, and the portions were worth the price. I'd recommend coming here if you're craving Indian food and are in the area.

The ambience is clean and comfortable. The food is terrific! I have dined here many times with many friends and coworkers. When we're indecisive about where we want to go this place is always a top choice. I have tried many dishes here and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. In all honesty, there may have been some flavor combinations that I didn't like her. Perhaps a dish was too spicy, but that is more a personal preference than a statement about the quality of the food. I tend to like heat so I do like spiciness. However, when I ask for a little spice, my understanding of what constitutes a little spice is not always the same as the chefs. Sometimes I think my face will catch fire so I have to say please just only use mild spice. Lol. One of my go to dishes is chicken, tiki masala, butter, chicken, garlic, vegetable, samosas, and butter nann soft leavened northern Indian flatbread. It is simply delicious to dip pieces of this into the tiki masala sauce. Also delicious is the mango lassi. I have not tried this sweet creamy ice cold refreshing beverage you don't know what you're missing! The mango lassi is made with fresh mango, plain yogurt, a little bit of cream or milk, and a little bit of sweetener and a sprinkle of cardamom. It is highly addictive. I have on many occasions ordered a mango lassi to go with a side order of just a cup of ice. I like my mango lassi is super icy and cold. The vegetable samosas are so enjoyable that my family often orders several to go for a nighttime snack. Samosas are crispy, fried Indian pastries filled with a spiced savory mixture mashed potatoes, peas, ginger, green chilies, and spices like cumin, coriander, and garam masala. All in all, the Turmeric House is wonderful.

My guess as to why this place doesn't get the same recognition as other restaurants is because it is Indian food. The food at Tiranga is all authentic Indian street food. Which means that if you're comparing it to a standard Indian place you're going to be disappointed. But if you go expecting to get an authentic sandwich, the type you get on the streets of Bombay, along with Maggi ketchup, this is your place. Their live Pani Puri is also an authentic experience. The service was great and the ambiance is also good. It's a small place so it may not be good for large groups. But they are open late and will satisfy the craving for a late night spicy snack. This place is seriously underrated and a gem. Maybe one day we'll come around to giving Indian cuisine more respect, and when that day comes, I have no doubt that Tiranga will get some awards.

You can either create a combo with one, two or three meat or vegetable dishes and then you get rice, salad and two pakoras with your meal. You can add either garlic or plain naan bread for an additional cost if you wish to. I wanted a combo with just one chicken dish but was uncertain of which one to pick since there were several chicken dishes and they all looked good. So the counter staff let me taste a few different items and I ended up going with the chicken curry. It was delicious so I definitely made the right choice. Your first protein choice gets the bigger section of the tray, your second protein choice gets a small square section, so choose your protein strategically. Overall I'm glad they have decided to open in SSP to give the food court another viable and good option of food! Thanks for lunch, will be back! We also are grabbing the lamb plate for my brother for later tonight, and maybe some garlic naan next time around when we have more time!
