This Raley's location is in the Arden area off of Fair Oaks Blvd - it is one of my favorite locations because it is always clean and organized. This location is also very spacious inside! My family and I stopped in over the weekend to grab some items for dinner and snacks so we could stay home and out of the rain. They have a great produce and alcohol section that is always kept nice and maintained. They offer a hot food section as well as a sandwich menu and salad bar that looked pretty decent. They also have a bakery and you can grab fresh flowers at this location as well. Staff is usually pretty friendly and helpful! Overall, we make it point to stop at this Raley's location if we are in the area! They always have what we are looking for and much more! read more

I come here a lot, multiple times a week. The employees aren't friendly at all and the store is consistently opened late. Not a great selection of stuff either, I would only come here if you need to grab a few ingredients or something to bring to work or school for breakfast or dinner. read more

shrinkflation - Raleys deli! Why they are doing this is beyond me. Last year, I could buy a meal at the deli. It was an entree and two sides. A good value and enough really for 1 1/2 to two meals. Now they have put a plastic container inside the plastic container probably to reduce the amount of food you are served. In fact, now you only get one meatball for the entree. shrinkflation while further polluting the environment with more plastics. This doesn't work for me. Please, bring back regular size and value and please switch to sustainable materials. I mean I can get a whole roasted chicken at Costco for $5 and while they are obviously losing money ton this they make it up in other ways. read more

This is a supermarket that sells everything. Great service , cvsry organized , good food choices.

We came in today and had two separate orders. We mention to our cashier Vera that it was separate. She kept Cleaning belt which we done mind but she was cleaning it while we stood there about 3 mins. Before when we walked up we had told her it's separate. We have someone in our household that doesn't eat red meat so we kept some items separate. Vera through all the items together and tossed the red meat with got the blood from the meat on other items. We told her again it's separate. You can visible see that she was annoyed. She didn't apologise matter of fact she didn't even greet us. She handed us our receipts each time with no sympathy. This is the second time I've had a bad experience here with the same cashier. Last time the lady in front of me didn't pay her groceries because her card didn't go through. The lady had already left, I went to pay for our items and realised our bill was over $300 after she scanned only a couple of our items. I told her it wasn't ours, and that the lady in front us didn't pay. Luckily the baggers were able to get the lady to let her know her transaction didn't go through. Again no sorry or anything. I don't know this lady at all but I hope she doesn't treat everybody like this. read more

Second altercation with this Cashier. I don't understand how she is a cashier. She really does not care about her job. First altercation was the customer in front of me card got declined and she let her walk away with over 200 dollars worth of groceries. So when it was my turn , she rang my order with the customers and I already Apple paid with my card. When I finally caught on I had let her know , so they had to refund me , also had to track down the customer so I had to wait for the customer to come back and all this. With 0 apology to me. This time the altercation is that I had 2 separate transactions which I let her know and she nodded. She then starts tidying up and cleaning the conveyor belt without letting me know so I'm there for an awkward 5 minutes. She then starts scanning everything together and mixing all the groceries together and when I told her no these are supposed to be 2 different transactions. She gave me the dirtiest look like if it was my fault I didn't tell her. When I clearly told her in the beginning like anyone else would. I like shopping at this Raleys more than the one on Folsom because of the interiors, feels fancy! They also have some bulk bins at the back of the store, and I've attached pictures with the current prices (February '24). For you Sac State students, make sure you have a something extra account and show them your OneCard for 10% off! I like that they have their sales and coupons available on the app, and check them every few days to see what the deals are. If you play your cards right, you can get groceries real cheap (think $0.97/lb for ground beef or chicken thighs), so don't forget to have that ready! Although they have a butcher, don't count on them to have special cuts available. I asked if they had any chicken bones available, but I guess their supplier doesn't give them those, only the meat displayed on the case or the shelves is available, it seems. read more

This Raleys is notorious for Not honoring sale signs and prices that are clearly marked. Today, there is a large table of post holiday items right in front with a big sign advertising 75% off. Right above the sign are glass snowmen with Santa hats, filled with syrup. When I tried to ring it up, it was not on sale. I asked the customer service rep for help, and he said No, not on sale. He did not honor what you are advertising right in your store. Not the first time this has happened. read more

I have two Raley's near my house and I will gladly drive further to come to this location. The meat department is the BEST! Joe in particular is great. He is always friendly and incredibly helpful. He always takes the time to answer questions without making you feel like a bother or rushing you. I never know how much to buy for a gathering but he has always been able to steer me in the right direction with a perfect outcome. read more

First off, I love this location and the store is really nice inside. Staff is friendly and helpful. My only recommendation is to please check the expiration dates on items. I grabbed some Naan bread and it had mold on it. Thankfully we saw it before we bought it and let someone know. Unfortunately, I didn't check some of the other items and when I got home, I noticed my pillsbury crescent rolls expired 6 weeks ago and the sausage was 8 days passed expiration. I won't stop shopping here but now know to check the dates on pretty much everything I buy. read more

I go to this Raleys at least once a week nice clean most people are friendly but when I present a coupon or take a picture of a coupon on the shelve they always give me a hard time As if they don't want to honor it. This coupon tells me the 4 print roll of bounty was 50 percent off 6.99 regular price was 13.99 which should $3.48 which is what was listed on the add as well the lady said it was $6.99 I advised the coupon says $3.48 and that she would call the manager the manager then comes up and says it $3.48 per each roll which wouldn't make any sense. They don't like to honor what they advertise which is bad business I'll find another Raleys to spend my hard earned money on. read more

I've been shopping at this Raley's for a few years now. I didn't realize I never wrote a review, oops. LOL. This Raley's is on the corner of Fair Oaks Blvd and Howe Ave. It's in the same shopping center as Orange Theory Fitness, CVS, Starbucks, and KB Nails. I stop by Raley's when I have rewards to use, when on the hunt for some local sources food items, and/or need some fresh produce (love their produce! Some of the freshest and locally grown!) Even, at it's busiest..I can get checked out pretty quickly. Their E cart service is great! The staff always sends a text to notify me of any out of stock items, and to review my order if I would like to make changes before finalizing. The employees are really nice at this location!! When arriving to pick up an order, I just pull in one of their designated E Cart parking spots, and send a text. I'm usually not waiting more than 5-10 minutes for an employee to bring my order. This Raley's does not deliver. The Marconi Ave location does offer delivery, FYI!!! See ya again soon, Raley's!!! read more

Great shopping nice selection of products. The con is hard to get around always products being stocked. Store isles not that wide for two people an a cart you add a wheelchair or motorized cart. Each time I walk in this Raley's, my opinion of it improves. It was never bad, but I do think Raley's is a bit on the impractical side if you are looking for affordable shopping. Keep that in mind and you'll have a great experience. I never realized this before, but they have an AMAZING deli section. Top quality meats, cheese and more. It's all oh-so-conveniently located next to an aisle long selection of drinks and the wine section, so pairing up with something to drink for dinner or a fast casual lunch is no issue. They also have a great dairy section, with a lot of brands and styles within those brands that you can't find elsewhere. I'm a big fan of the Tillamook and Fairlife brands, both of which they carry every option for. As I've said before...if you want cheaper, go elsewhere. If you want quality and an assured selection of what you're looking for, this is your spot. read more

I've been a Raley's customer for years. It's one of my go to grocery stores. I wasn't prepared for my shopping experience at this location. I walked in with the preconceived idea that it would be identical to my neighborhood Raley's. Mind blown! This location is off the charts amazing. It's completely different from the other stores. From the moment you grab a shopping cart, to when you leave, it's a wonderful experience. The overhead store lighting are skylights. You don't get that horrible overly bright unnatural light that most stores have. Shopping the perimeter is a much different experience as well. Everything is in stand up cases beautifully displayed. The cases lack the overindulgence, and instead have a wonderful variety of almost everything! Like nice meaty lamb shanks. Their meat counter reminds me of how grocery stores used to sell fresh meat. It's packed with a great variety of fresh seafood, and meats. The butcher is there, and ready to cut meat, or answer questions. The deli is an experience like no other. The case is filled with items like crispy chicken, rolled eggplant, and those pasta dishes looked amazing. If that doesn't call your name, the buffet like hot foods section most definitely will. The mac and cheese looked like creamy goodness. The hot foods area is enough to make you take your selection to their upstairs dining area, and just sit and enjoy your meal. Yes, they have an upstairs area that is spacious and nothing that other stores offer! The signage throughout the store makes it easy to find what you're looking for. The staff are happy to help you too. Beautiful layout! Great shopping experience, and a great place to find unique items. It's worth the time to stop and shop. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, this Raleys NEVER has any meat stocked whatsoever. It is completely pointless coming here for groceries, their meat section is very smalll with minimal meat. This has happens very consistently too, this isn't just a one time thing. Drive to Safeway or the Savemart save yourself the extra trip. read more

The staff is extremely friendly and nice. So I leaned in closer to the candy aisle , so he couldn't see me to see if I was right and I was he was even then still trying to see if I was standing there . Just went to get the soda I wanted , then went to the tampon/ feminine section and again just standing there watching me , and noted there were already other shoppers in the store before I arrived . Manager didn't care whatsoever, in fact agreed with the disrespectful guards behavior stating he's doing his job okay and following me down the tampon aisle is doing what exactly . Just watching me ???!!! While the guard watched no other customers but me when I left the tampon aisle so did how convenient of that . He's just doing his job profiling me . What a beautiful store this is!!! Raley's is a little pricier than some of the other grocery stores but they have some the best looking produce and large variety of organic/local products, too. They also have competitive weekly ads as well as the famous $5 Monday ads!!! ( That's when I look for the $5 K-Cup coffee sales along with the $5 toilet paper sales!! ) They stock the normal grocery items, but I lovvvvve snooping at other unique store items!! They pick up the local small business items. ( Local jams, BBQ sauce, handmade soaps, etc ). I absolutely love their cheese selections and ready to go foodie items! The homemade pizza in their refrigerator section! Just go home and pop in the oven! Instant healthier dinner on a busy work day meal!! ( Healthier than the frozen with lots of who knows what ingredients to keep that shelf life. ) Overall, great store with great service! Plenty of parking even though a shared parking lot. ************** Review 530 ************* I'm so excited to finally have a brand new Raley's so much closer to my home and walking distance from my work. It's located on the corner of Fair Oaks Blvd and Howe Ave. The parking lot has plenty of parking and a section for customers who order their groceries through e-cart pick up as well as a electric car charging station. How convenient for those with electric vehicles. Raley's officially opens for business today 04/12/17 at 9am. I know where I'm stopping for lunch today! The outside of the store is really nice and the inside is even better. It looks slightly different than other Raley's stores I've been to, which is a good thing all Raley's stores don't have to look the same. The inside is really nice they have a Cafe and the have tables and chair above the Cafe for dining. This Raley's is very fancy IMO! depending on which way you enter you'll come in at the Cafe or the Produce department. Everything is well organized and some of the isles looks like a maze not in a bad way either. I even love the outdoor patio in front of the store you can enjoy your meal in the nice weather, there's plenty of seating which is a huge plus. There's also a hand soap station to fill your own hand soaps that's awesome, the hot food bars is amazing with great food options for everyone! I love love love the carving station as well! This is truly not your average Raley's store. Raley's didn't let customers in until out public officials did their speeches. Darryl Strindberg, Richard Pan and a few others. Customers finally got to goinside after the Ribbon cutting ceremony about 20-25 mins later not to mention it's raining :/ I see every news station in Sacramento showed up as well! The Opening Ceremony was nice though! Raley's will be having Grand Opening specials on 04/21/17. I'm glad the they are building the part of Arden Arcade back up! 5+! Los Angeles needs one! This place is like no other grocery store I've been to. It's set up like modern upscale warehouse with an open air feel. The store sits alone and has a huge parking lot to itself. Inside the market, there is even a food counter, coffee service and eating areas, one upstairs and one down below. Prices were comparable to Sprouts for most items (except fresh fruit) and lower than Whole Foods. I arrived on a Friday night at around 9pm, so I had the entire upstairs dining area to myself. It was fun to be perched up high and able to look down at the store. Food was good, too! :) I took a ton of photos. Some of the displays were like artwork. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Nice and clean. Reminds me of a Whole Foods, versus a Raley's (albeit the non-organic stuff). Today I stopped in for fresh foods, and was not disappointed. They have a carving station for Thanksgiving meals everyday. There's a deli station for fresh sandwiches. There's a fresh sushi station. The Melting Station was not open, or I might have opted for a panini. There's also a fresh make-your-own salad and soup station. These besides the bakery and general pasta salad serving spot. The rest of the store is nice too--and there are benches outside and inside in which to dine. It's a work in progress though. Litetally 51 kinds of oatmeal, and no grits or Cream of Wheat. read more

I stopped at the #420 Raley's on Folsom Street in Sacramento, California, at 3:45 P.M. on Saturday, September 30, 2023, to pick up hot prepared Chinese Food and Sushi from the deli. I have shopped at this Raley's location for over a decade and have never had such awful customer service. I stood at the counter, and a clerk came along and advised me to ring the bell for service. I rang the bell. No one came around. Three or so minutes later, I rang the bell again. Three or more minutes go by, and an associate from behind the window in the prep area looks up, holding up a couple of fingers while mouthing something in my direction. I was curious if he was speaking to me, so I waited. Another few minutes went by, and the clerk in the prep area came to the counter to tell me there was no associate available to plate up and serve the Chinese Food. He did not offer to assist me; he only kept saying he was sorry. I promptly placed the prepared sushi I had taken from the shelf back on the shelf and told the clerk I was no longer interested in a purchase. As I left the store, I stopped at the clerk monitoring your self-checkout area and advised them I was refused service at the Chinese Food Deli area and continued to leave the store. I know this is just one offense, but I have worked in customer service for several years, and this incident definitely was NOT what I consider good or even fair customer service. This grocery chain advertises that they promote the highest customer service in their stores. I can't believe this to be a true statement anymore. Again, I am one shopper, but in today's world, where we have a lot of variety, this one instance could be an event that will push me and most, if not all, of my grocery shopping business to another retailer. WOW GELATO BAR! YES! they have a carving station , Self Serve Hot Food bar , Sushi, Deli , Bakery and Peete's Café . They have a cold case filled with ready made Pick Up & GO items like sandwiches, salads, fruits and more. Their Seafood and Meat Department is towards the back and fresh produce in the middle. Take a stroll down the aisles I know it's gonna be busy going in and out from Howe or Fair Oaks Blvd. Entry in or out is Cadillac Drive or Feature Drive. read more

Even though I live near both in our Land Park hood, lately I prefer Raley's over Safeway for two reasons. #1 is that safeway parking lots always seem cramped. #2 Raley's employees seem to be extra helpful. It seems none of the markets in this area can stock enough Ginger Ale Bold. Lol. But nevertheless, I always feel important when I come to this store. And that means a lot to me. read more

I do wish it's prices were not so high on some goods, but this review is only for the great produce in stock during a challenging time & a shoutout to Emily! She is a 10 star employee/person. It was like the heavens opened up and she answered my call. Srsly, I'm a caregiver that gets so burned out at times trying to find things for mom. Emily helped. She went extra miles & I hope she is recognized for that! Everyone is going through tough times now I know. About a week ago I was shopping here when an incredibly disturbing group of women and children were disrupting the whole environment as they were filling their carts to the brim with everything from deli sandwiches to diapers. Not one employee intervened and asked them to please stop loudly shouting profanities throughout the store. This group decided to leave the store without paying for the 100's of dollars worth of products. As there was no security present an employee finally confronted them about the 'purchases'. The group violently physically attacked her and threw objects at her. The very most disturbing thing about the whole situation was when I witnessed a higher up reprimanding said employee. I have not been able to get this situation off of my mind and I am just very disappointed in the way that Raleys handled this situation in general. I do enjoy shopping here and the employees typically seem happy and helpful. But I hope that they are treated as fairly and respectful as it seems from the outside. read more
