I have been a customer of Suisun City Raleys for over 20 years and have watched this location change tremendously over the years. Overall I would rate this location with 3 star, but (right now) I would rate the deli a little higher than the rest of the store. The only reason I say right now is because the staff continuously changes behind the counter and not much consistency. Katie (deli/bakery manager) is consistent, always friendly, and professional. A shout out to Wyatt, Romeo and the other deli staff (I don't know all the other guys names). This group is good for deli counter now. However, the deli staff doesn't seem to stick around for very long. As far as the rest of the store, the changes to staff and the overall vibe has deteriorated tremendously over the years, unfortunately. Although this location is convenient, I will often opt to shop for groceries at other grocery stores just because this Raleys is mediocre. The employees at this Raleys seem unhappy, unfriendly, and just barely get through doing their basic job. This location has really gone downhill. Raley's used to be really well known for their customer service. I have been coming to Raley's since I moved to the area in the year of 2000. The cashiers were always extremely helpful and friendly. Gave you the local store vibe. Now the newer cashiers barely say hello. Or want to help you with anything. The straw that broke the camels back was the bakery department with me giving them a 72 hour notice could not take a custom cake order. I was told I can come to the store in the morning choose a cake from the glass case and request it to be written on. I see I have to just stop going to this location. read more

After 36 years I will no longer be shopping at this store. Also, several months ago a woman tried to steal the groceries I just purchased. I mistakenly told my friends and colleagues to order online delivery from Raleys as my family had been loyal customers for decades. I ordered online delivery for groceries from Raleys. I received $22 of inedible food for a $80 food order. The Raleys rep said she must have mistakenly taken the food from the wrong expired food cart that was meant to be discarded. I think she did it on purpose because the rotten black grapes were placed in a additional plastic bag. The okay red grapes that I ordered were in original packaging. I received: Activia package of 8 bottles that expired in five days Black grapes that were rotting and inedible Bag of Salad that was rotting and inedible I was also Charged but didn't receive rotisserie chicken. I looked for the chicken a few hours later and realized I had not received it. I called the store and she already knew that I had not received it. The Raleys employee did not inform me when I had spoken to her earlier. She refused to refund my credit card. She said she would credit my Raleys Something Extra card which forces you to not receive your money back. You have to spend money to use the credit. At the time I was a cancer caregiver and couldn't leave patient to return items at the store. I will never shop at Raleys again. Shop Safeway or Walmart online delivery if you can't go to the store. If you have a problem, they actually refund your money and they don't select rotten or expired food items. read more

All the workers here are sweet, the store is neat, and everything is fresh. I usually don't have to wait in a long line and the accept WIC. They also have fresh made food you can pick up, including sushi. A cake station which you can also ask them to add anything you want. Last time I asked which was last month, the guy told me there wasn't a USPS inside anymore but the sign is still showing in the front. read more

I stopped in here for the first time yesterday morning about 730, prior to getting to work. Just to use the ATM machine inside. I assumed I would be looking for the actual branch on site, but after wondering the store for a view min a came across a flier machine. Mind you when I walked in the door, a younger girl working the morning shift gave me eye contact, but no good morning or welcome in. So continue walking. Just as I spotted the machine there was another woman associate working by their customer service station , once again I was noticed of being in the location, but not acknowledged. I'm not going to assume on why I as a customer was not acknowledged or asked if I need help. Absolutely LOVE their bakery!! I called the day before I needed this very special cake! My mom is the family baker so I thought of the next best thing and yes...I was right!! My mom was so so happy! All she wanted was a white cake, white icing and fresh coconut! The woman that answered the phone told me she has to ask her cake decorater and would get back to me...she did and said that was not a problem! I also got a phone call the next day to let me know the cake was ready! How awesome is that! When I arrived the woman knew my name, grabbed my mom's cake and showed me! Absolutely beautiful!! Employees are super nice and very helpful. What's sad is that the company does not enforce the mask mandate. People can just walk in freely with no mask and no one will say anything to them. We shop here at least 1-2xs per week and it got to the point where we spoke to the manager on duty. He notified us that they were told not to engage with customers who do not follow the rules as this would cause a scene. With that being said it's sad to see these hard working kids and adults putting themselves at risk every day for the company not to have their backs. Sorry Raley's we thought you were better than this and would set an example. Update Response below: Incorrect there are no exemptions for Solano county. I am a pediatric nurse and if you are telling your own employees or management to let people roam around without engaging then you're putting your own staff at risk to get sick, call in or spread the virus. So the answer to this is simple. I have to say, customer service was pretty spot on! Thank you! We decided on Raley's for lunch. Originally sandwiches were on the list, but then I got stuck when I seen pre-packaged sushi. Some people are skeptical which is so understandable, but those pre-packaged sushi boxes are not bad at all! I mean, I guess it depends where you go. Safeway's is hands down my favorite! I wanted to try somewhere different- So Raley's it was. I was not much of a fan due to the rice. It was not that great. Maybe it was because there was so much sauce that it made the rice's texture really gross, but I was like... Eh.. It would have been so much better if the rice was made differently or maybe there was not hecka sauce on it! The boyfriend got a customized sandwich. The sandwich was a bit on the higher pricing compared to Safeway's. They may be the same price (IDK), but for sure the amount of fixings inside a SAFEWAY sandwich is a lot more! So i always get a certain sandwich at the deli, which is the Rubicon Sandwich, why? Because i like the sweet bbq taste of the sandwich. But whenever i come and this certain employee is helping me, there is always NO TRITIP AVAILABLE, so the sandwich is not available and he would always recommend me a certain sandwich because he said i will get more meat on that sandwich. It's not because i wanted more meat on my sandwich, i wanted a certain sandwich because thats the taste i wanted. This is the 3rd time he did it to me, i dont know if it takes a lot of effort doing the rubicon sandwich it only consists of 4 ingredients, bread, tri-tip, bbq sauce and red onions. Having a disability, it can be challenging these days to shop brick and mortar. This store has an attendant outside, cleaning carts. As you enter, there is an additional attendant offering hand sanitizer. This attendant also asks if you would like your cart cleaned. Above and beyond. I do not recommend this store anymore. It used to be my go to for everything. After my experience with the deli department, it looks like I will be traveling to a different store for my shopping needs. I walked in, straight to the deli. I stood there, the only customer needing to be helped. I stared in the direction of the SEVEN woman behind the counter whom were all in a circle talking to each other. I patiently waited for eye contact of some sort. Not ONE of the 4 ladies in the bakery even looked up, I mean why would they? It wasn't their department I was waiting for service in, right? So I waited, I waited and waited. So I asked is someone working the deli department? One of the older ladies of the group turned and said "Yes we are" and stared at me in a rude how dare you bother my conversation way. I said "Then can someone help me?" Then a younger gal finally helped me and got my ONE LB OF SLICED TURKEY MEAT. Whilst the rude older woman kept on talking rudely and walking back and forth like she wanted to fight me, as if I wasn't there. I called and requested to speak with the store manager, when he returned my call it was as if he didn't care. His response was well practiced and very robotic, I almost couldn't hear his eyes roll. I recieved horrible service in the deli and an even worse response from the store manager! I like this Raley's. It's close to my house and stays well stocked. I've had the chance to dabble in many areas of the store and have had decent experiences. The bakery did a really great job on my daughter's Hello Kitty birthday cake last year. The buttercream was tasty (not too sweet, just right) and the chocolate cake was moist and tasted fresh. My one complaint there is that the guy didn't tell us the candle was too tall for the box. He just set it on the counter half open and as we left, I closed it (on account of not wanting cake all over my car). When we got it home we realized the candle was too tall for the box to close and that was why he'd left it partially open. It jacked up the cake a little, but nothing major. Still, a heads up woulda been nice. I've made special requests of the meat department through the years too. Most recently, to grind 2 cuts of meat together. The lady working was very helpful and actually suggested one of the cuts of meat to me after telling her what I was planning. The thing is, she was gone for like 20 minutes! My 4 year old was bouncing off the walls touching everything, trying to poke the meat and I was just trying to keep their store in order. The thing is, the cuts of meat were not that big. I'm talking two 6 oz steaks here. Even if she had to cut it up to feed it through the grinder, I can't see it taking over 20 minutes to cut, grind and package two small steaks. Still, the grinding service is useful and they'll also sharpen your kitchen knives for free as well. They keep stuff on the shelves right up to and sometimes after the expiration date here too. It's not uncommon to find something that's expiring in a week or so. It sucks because I can easily use up large quantities of their dairy goods, but I need more time to do so! We once had balloons filled here and were disappointed to learn that it actually costs more to have them fill your balloons from home than it costs to buy their filled balloons. That's so lame! The lady working even seemed bummed she had to charge us as much as she did for each balloon. I remember the good ol' days when grocery stores used to just give out balloons to kids. Guess those days are long gone! I wouldn't consider this place my primary grocery store, but I come in once or twice a month for mostly perishable items. I've gotten good customer service here, but typically opt for the self check out option since there's usually not a line when I've gone in. Everything considered, this is your average grocery store. Clean, with everything you need, but nothing above and beyond. read more

ATTN RALEYS CORPORATE/CEO. My cousin and i went here monday around 9pm. Total purchase was $50+. She had $40 cash and she asked the cashier if she can pay check. Cashier said yes. She wrote the check and cashier took forever reading it. Then cashier said "WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS FROM VALLEJO." We were both surprised. The manager was called and said the same thing. My cousins check was from travis credit union and they have a travis credit union nearby but because the check states her address is from vallejo ca they do not accept it. This is the very first time we heard this. This raleys is run by racist/discriminatory staff. my cousin were able to use her check at walmart suisun but this raleys store did not accept it. I have had it with this store. It's worth driving an extra five miles so that I do not have to worry about whether or not at least half of the items I am looking for will be in stock. This store has been mismanaged for quite some time now. They are lazy when it comes to stocking their shelves, and are quick to blame the pandemic for the shortage. When asking them why every other store in the area carries the missing items, one might get a patronizing response. I know this review doesn't matter, but do yourselves a favor and just visit any other Raley's in the area. You will find a nicer store and a much better experience overall. They might even have a place for you to recycle your plastic bags. At least this store finally gave us the option to use hand baskets, again. That's a big plus. I have a 1 year old pup who is a service dog who has been there several times before without any issues. today I was met at the front door from a guy named Mark who's been there for a long time. the very first thing he says to me is you cannot bring those bags in here okay I get it but maybe you should let me know what the new rules are? this is the first time I've ever heard about the bags,,after I finally get through the door I am met by another guy who tells me your dog cannot be in here at said he's a service dog and he asked me what for and I told him it was for depression and I have a doctor that will verify that. he then said what kind of depression,,Wow really?I told him I was shopping here forever and never had a problem and just wanted to grab a few items and I would leave and They absolutely turn me down.
