Bangus silog with garlic rice to go.
    Leila D.

3.5 stars. I ordered takeout bangus silog with garlic rice, which comes with two eggs. They have tables available for those who prefer to eat in. The owner is very friendly, and I hope this place continues to thrive.

The plates are a perfect size. Enjoying the heat of the sisig and savory of the Tapa. The bangus is a bit small but it's one of my favorites. Welcoming service all the time !!

Saw the reviews and wanted to try this place out. Inside was very simple with seating for about 30 people. The cashier was very sweet and friendly. Bought daingsilog to go. You place your order at the cashier and wait a few minutes while they cook it. I ate it for dinner, it was good. I liked it but my hubby said it was a bit salty and it was marinated too long in soy sauce. Anyhow, we'll try the other silog varieties on our next visit.

    Halo halo

Their chicken isaw is one of the best I've tried in the states however the pork BBQ we received was burnt and the chicken was dry. The halo halo was so good and service was okay.

Cute little spot for some good food! Quality of the food was good just wish the portions were a little bigger for what we paid. We went in and it was pretty empty so the service was catered to just us at first. But then as people rolled in, we could see there weren't enough staff to helped them. As they were cooking our food they didn't have enough people to helped others out. We did have to wait some time for our food as well. But overall, a good place to stop by. I'd recommend to the owner some spin offs on the recipes they had, but the food was indeed great, just could be more unique

They just opened 3 days ago so still have things to fix. However the owner is very pleasant and works as fast as he can to get to your order. Restaurant is very clean and located between Beyond Tea and LA Guagua in the Marina Center Plaza. The menu is simple with all day breakfast, skewers, desserts, and sides. I got a medium halo halo to enjoy there and ordered a pork and chicken skewer wirh garlic fried rice to go. Not sure if they have other ice cream flavors because they told me mango and ube but I stopped at that and asked for ube. The halo halo had the usual, flan and ice cream on top, shaved ice with evaporated milk, and jellies and banana on the bottom. It wasn't too sweet which is what I like, but I do wish there were more things on the bottom. The garlic fried rice had a good amount of garlic flavor. The chicken skewer was tasty but part of the pork skewer was undercooked (I had to pop it in my air fryer to finish). Like I said, they just opened so have a few things to fix. But the service is very nice and place is clean so will try a breakfast dish next time. I would recommend checking out this mom and pop shop again!

This establishment is currently open each day at 10am Wednesday-Sunday( they did mention adding another day soon)! I loved their lumpia's 10/10 whhaaaat delicious! I devoured the first 7 and forgot to take a photo so I went back for round two that same day and almost forgot again ahaha they are sooo good! The customer service was good and clear communication.

First off; the hospitality show by Tita Babe is so dope. She made me feel like family. She so sweet and welcoming. I ordered 4 pork and 4 chicken skewers. delicious! They use breast which is hard to find. It was made to perfection! The smell alone will make your mouth water!!! Their vegetable lumpia was soooooo fat and yummy. She made me a side of vinegar and chili ( As an Ilocana, I love this!) i will be back AGAIn and AGAIn. Filipino BBQ done right!!!!

Attempted to check the restaurant out but it was closed, no notice, despite signs saying the store is open starting at 10am on Sunday.

    Shanghai Lumpia (half eaten)

Had to stop in and try out one of Babe's silogs. The vibe was definitely your small Filipino local cafe feel with very friendly service.. I had the Cornbeefsilog and my wife had the Tocilog and we had to try their Shanghai lumpia. The tocilog was definitely home made. The cornbeefsilog was seasoned well. Overall, the food was delicious. Portions were a little on the small side for the prices, but that's just my opinion.

Loved Babe who helped us order and make the occasion feel like we're at our aunts house. Our breakfast was decent, the big halo halo was a surprise and probably the best thing. Ambiance was casual.

While the place was cute and small, they had 6 stations of indoor seating. The service was slow considering there were only 2 groups there. It was not busy. The cashier knew how to work the register but lacked customer service skills. For example when giving to-go boxes, a bag should've been offered as well. In addition, the cashier spent most of the time sitting while looking at a personal laptop. The server kept making requests for the cashier to help provide napkins, etc. The server was confused of which group ordered what meal. We were asked a few times what we ordered or what else we had ordered. We ordered the pork sisig, pork BBQ stick and chicken bbq stick, pork chop and lumpia. It was all very different from what we were used to. The bbq sticks were dry and the bbq sauce had a weird after taste. The pork sisig was bland. The lumpia was loosely wrapped and unraveled while frying and the meat inside was small. The eggs of both plates were cooked differently. One was over hard and the other was over easy. However, we never specified how we wanted the eggs cooked because we were never offered a choice. While this restaurant is very new, they do have potential.

We ordered the meal plate w/ 2 entrees: half Garlic Rice (best to go in the AM before they run out) / half Pansit, and a double order of the Lechon (Roast Pork) Sisig. Bam! Way better than Panda Express lol...they even include a free soda! Service can be a little slow, but we noticed that's only because they take the time to pack things carefully to prevent spills. That is attention to detail that I can appreciate. Some advice - going at lunchtime will be very busy, so either give yourself extra time (or patience), or try going in the morning when all the food is freshly available. Enjoy!

I wanted to share a disappointing experience I had during my recent visit to your restaurant…read more The cashier was warm, friendly, and engaging with the customers before me, but when it was my turn, her demeanor completely changed. I asked if I could have an extra to-go bowl, and she simply replied, "No, we don't do that." While that wasn't the answer I was hoping for, I accepted it without issue. What bothered me was what happened next. When I asked for utensils, instead of handing them to me, she placed them on the counter for me to pick up, doing so with a dismissive attitude. She then proceeded to speak in Tagalog in a way that made me feel she assumed I couldn't understand her. It came across as rude, disrespectful, and hurtful. My family owns the childcare center directly behind your restaurant, and we have supported your business for a long time. We are also actively involved in the local community and workj closely with the City and the Mayor's office through our childcare programs. It was especially disappointing to feel as though I was treated differently because she assumed I wasn't Filipino. Everyone deserves to be treated with the same level of courtesy and respect, regardless of their appearance or background. Unfortunately, this experience has cost your restaurant a loyal customer. I will also be sharing my experience with my professional and community network, as I believe businesses should be held to a consistent standard of customer service. I hope you take this feedback seriously so that no one else has a similar experience.

Traditional Filipino dishes [Vallejo CA]…read more We were in the area and were looking for a place to eat preferably serving Filipino cuisine since we have limited options in Roseville. Hubby found this restaurant and so we drove to the place. First thing you'll notice once you enter the restaurant is the warm temp inside - no AC but they have electric fans going on. To the right is a long shelf with a variety grocery items while the table seating is laid out in the center. TV was tuned in to a channel playing a Filipino movie. This is a "turo-turo" style food ordering, meaning no table service instead you go to where the dishes are cooked in large portions (which is towards the back of the restaurant) and you choose which ones you want. We ordered: Pork Sinigang - a little too sour for me but this is a classic Filipino soup with pork ribs, vegetables, and tamarind broth. Bistek (beef steak) - thin slices of marinated beef before smothered in a deeply savory sauce and topped with golden-seared onions Pork Adobo - classic Filipino dish of pork simmered in vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic Kaldereta - goat meat stew I didn't try the kaldereta but all the other dishes were good and delicious.
