This a nice little sit down spot with a friendly owner. She's very nice and converses with the patrons that come in. The place is clean and have some nice wall art. And a couple TVs. There's a good amount of tables with spacious open floor. My sister was hungry for something small and came here while I was grocery shopping next door at 3Js. She was in the mood for some Shanghai lumpia to snack on but ended up with a lunch plate. She got the lunch special which consisted rice, sisig, and some lumpia Shanghai. She said the sisig was really good. I tried a Shanghai lumpia and it was pretty tasty. You can tell my sister enjoyed her sisig cause she was only wanting a snack but ended almost eating her whole lunch plate. The only thing is the plates on the menu are a bit pricey. I'll just have to try them out next time to see if it's worth it. read more

Saw the reviews and wanted to try this place out. Inside was very simple with seating for about 30 people. The cashier was very sweet and friendly. Bought daingsilog to go. You place your order at the cashier and wait a few minutes while they cook it. I ate it for dinner, it was good. I liked it but my hubby said it was a bit salty and it was marinated too long in soy sauce. Anyhow, we'll try the other silog varieties on our next visit. read more

We went in and it was pretty empty so the service was catered to just us at first. But then as people rolled in, we could see there weren't enough staff to helped them. As they were cooking our food they didn't have enough people to helped others out. We did have to wait some time for our food as well. But overall, a good place to stop by. They just opened 3 days ago so still have things to fix. However the owner is very pleasant and works as fast as he can to get to your order. Restaurant is very clean and located between Beyond Tea and LA Guagua in the Marina Center Plaza. The menu is simple with all day breakfast, skewers, desserts, and sides. I got a medium halo halo to enjoy there and ordered a pork and chicken skewer wirh garlic fried rice to go. Not sure if they have other ice cream flavors because they told me mango and ube but I stopped at that and asked for ube. The halo halo had the usual, flan and ice cream on top, shaved ice with evaporated milk, and jellies and banana on the bottom. It wasn't too sweet which is what I like, but I do wish there were more things on the bottom. The garlic fried rice had a good amount of garlic flavor. The chicken skewer was tasty but part of the pork skewer was undercooked (I had to pop it in my air fryer to finish). Like I said, they just opened so have a few things to fix. I had the Cornbeefsilog and my wife had the Tocilog and we had to try their Shanghai lumpia. The tocilog was definitely home made. The cornbeefsilog was seasoned well. While the place was cute and small, they had 6 stations of indoor seating. The service was slow considering there were only 2 groups there. It was not busy. The cashier knew how to work the register but lacked customer service skills. For example when giving to-go boxes, a bag should've been offered as well. In addition, the cashier spent most of the time sitting while looking at a personal laptop. The server kept making requests for the cashier to help provide napkins, etc. The server was confused of which group ordered what meal. We were asked a few times what we ordered or what else we had ordered. We ordered the pork sisig, pork BBQ stick and chicken bbq stick, pork chop and lumpia. It was all very different from what we were used to. The bbq sticks were dry and the bbq sauce had a weird after taste. The pork sisig was bland. The lumpia was loosely wrapped and unraveled while frying and the meat inside was small. The eggs of both plates were cooked differently. One was over hard and the other was over easy. However, we never specified how we wanted the eggs cooked because we were never offered a choice. While this restaurant is very new, they do have potential. read more

Hello everyone! I came here after taking a look at the previous reviews, and I honestly thought that my experience would turn out not as positive as I thought it would be. However, after taking my time to have a taste of what Babe's Ihaw Ihaw has to offer, the food itself was quite excellent, if not 100% perfect. I came in sometime between 1-2 PM on a Tuesday, and thank God I came in at a good time. While it is not so busy during the time I went in, it did take 10-15 minutes, which was a bit lengthy in my opinion. Upon receiving my order, the wait was almost negligible. Everything turned out great; my rice was hot and tasty to the touch, the fish having a fresh crunch and aroma, and altogether, my meal was well-portioned. Normally, I would eat two scoops of rice, but halfway through eating, I felt as if the next bite was going to be my last due to how full I was before finishing everything. I finished my meal, and I did not regret it, as it would be a shame to leave the rest of my meal to be thrown away. The dining room is quiet, yet, so peaceful. I was able to enjoy my meal without much interruption. While I ate, the owner always asked if everything was okay and asked if I ever needed anything while I was there. She was very sweet, and I am glad she was hospitable to me all the while. For dessert, I had myself some halo halo with ube. I am a sucker for sweets, and I am relieved to find out the sweet was not crazy strong, but just right. Definitely save some room before ordering some, I nearly could not finish mine from all the food I had eaten previously. Experiences vary from person to person, and it will be good for some, and not so good for others. Of course, there were some things that weren't to where I wanted them to be, but for a new restaurant in store, I am glad to have been a part of their growth early on. Hole in the wall spot in a hidden gem plaza. I appreciate the new small business in the area. Walked in and was welcomed in. The menu has the basic Filipino silogs (egg, garlic rice and meat combo plate) served all day and some other merienda (light bites) to choose from. The arroz caldo (chicken rice porridge) i initially had my craving for wasn't available, but she said she had all the ingredients available and if I was willing to wait, she would make it. So I waited. I also ordered some vegetable lumpia. Overall it was a good experience. I really wanted to like the food I ordered, but unfortunately the porridge was bland, the whole chicken thigh to rice porridge ratio wasn't balanced and the vegetable lumpia was super greasy. The place was clean. Staff were friendly. First time going here. I bought 2 BBQ sticks and 1 fried eggplant. But when they charged me the receipt showed a higher price from the menu screen and when I questioned them they said the machine is just confusing. The price difference was only 69 cents. But I was still over charged. That's still fraud either way. Always check your receipts. BBQ sticks were not very good. I think they were undercooked and VERY chewy and flavor was not good either.
