I received an email with a return label that I printed on my home printer. I mailed the shoes to Pickleball Central and incurred a $3.99 charge. Several weeks later I received an email regarding my refund. They had deducted $6.55 from my refund for sending the email with the return label that I printed myself. When I talked with the customer service representative by phone initially there is no mention of this charge. I feel that the return process is not transparent and is unfair.

This one however, was just about what we were looking for. Multiple Pickleball, and Tennis courts available to the public. The only issue would be that they are a bit run down. Great new nets, but the courts paint job and cement could definitely use some TLC. The parking is safe, and there is plenty of it, and the location is really quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back often to play one of our favorite sports.

Our visit to The Armory Pickleball Club in Marysville was unfortunately ruined by an extremely unprofessional interaction with the manager, Ryan. This was our first time visiting. I had created an account ahead of time and believed I had reserved a court from 5-7 pm, but the booking system is confusing and I never received a confirmation email explaining what I had actually reserved. When we arrived, there was no staff available to greet guests or help new players understand where to go. I walked the entire facility looking for someone and even called the phone number listed, but no one answered. Since all courts were full except one, we assumed that was associated with my reservation and the four of us (on a double date) began playing. Later in the evening, Ryan approached us in a very abrupt and accusatory way assuming we were sitting there drinking and using a court without permission. I immediately showed her my reservation and explained that this was our first time there. As soon as I realized the system likely required each person to pay individually for open play, I offered to pay for the additional three players right away. Instead of handling the situation with professionalism or helping clarify the confusion, Ryan continued speaking to us in a rude and confrontational tone that felt unnecessary and disrespectful. It was especially frustrating because we were trying to do the right thing and resolve the issue immediately. Adding to the poor experience, the women's locker room had no toilet paper, and many of the tables in the seating area were covered with dirty dishes and had not been cleared. For a facility promoting a social atmosphere, basic upkeep and hospitality seemed to be lacking that evening. We had actually been having a great time until this interaction, but the way Ryan handled the situation completely ruined what was supposed to be a fun date night. Because of the way we were treated, we will not be returning.

They did have one of my favorite tequilas that a lot of places don't carry. Big plus for that. We will be back. Place is enormous and can seat big parties as well.

It's a great spot to play without the weather affecting your game--no rain, wind, or cold to worry about (especially during the rainy and wintery season). The Courts & Play The facility features 12 dedicated indoor courts. Because they are built specifically for pickleball, you don't have to deal with repurposed courts or a floor covered in confusing lines. - Lighting: It's bright and the fixtures are positioned high enough that you aren't blinded when hitting high balls. - Climate: The ventilation is actually good--it didn't get too hot and the place didn't have that typical gym smell. - Community: If you aren't with a group, they support open play times. It's a solid way to meet other players in the "kingdom" and seems like a great local community. The Amenities - Spectating: If you aren't playing, there's a dedicated space on the second floor for spectating or hanging out. - Post-Game: A huge plus is that they have showers. If you need to go somewhere immediately after your session, you can freshen up right there and head out. Overall, it's a well-maintained and professional setup. This meant the grass along the paved walking paths was a little on the softer side and a little muddy in areas. The baseball field above the track and field, whose field was in use for a soccer game, was open and a person walking their dog was having fun on the grass. On approximately the same level as the baseball field were tennis courts and a restroom building with an abutting table area. Up the paved walkway was another area in use by a soccer group. This one looked like a jerseyed scrimmage session. I found a baseball on one of the walkways as well as a worn tennis ball to the side of the same pathway. The park was designed to handle the busy Saturday traffic well and the parking spaces were straightforward to maneuver in and out of.
