The staff and in particular Garrett and Sam are some of the nicest and most polite individuals I've had the experience of meeting. Both of them are beyond helpful with course knowledge and hints, Garret specifically is great at understanding and helping with specific swing issues myself or others may have. I can't recommend playing Riverbend enough and while it does get busy on the nicer weather days, the pace of play is actually pretty good. This spring in particular the course is in FANTASTIC shape 2026, but I honestly can't remember a time when it wasn't. Highly recommend playing Riverbend whenever possible.

Pro shop staff, shuttle drivers, starter... all I need is a caddy next time! The snack bar was super cool, available pull carts were a nice touch and I've never had taylormade tour stripes on any complimentary range! A-Mazing! Luckily we had some beautiful weather in a long stretch of previous rainy days... the blue skies really added to the Incredible views... This course is so charming with the left over concrete slabs from the mining operation, the train that passes by and the lone tree. Now onto the golf... I had one of the best swinging days of my life and still shot a 100... I've never played a walking-only, links style course and I think I'm hooked. This course will absolutely test you.... elevated tee shots, precarious undulations and impossible to read greens... at times I would look at the green and not have any idea what I was looking at... definitely booking a caddy next time because our group could not get any putts to drop all day. Lots of variations of cool and unique holes. Price can be expensive at certain days/times but not too bad. Afternoon rates and membership rates are really fair. The only negative thing is the facilities are dated and actually pretty bad for a course like this. The Pro-Shop, restaurant and even the building by the range are super underwhelming. Seems like the Husky Home Course would have more pride. Banners that look like they were last hung and washed when Bill Clinton was in office. Just look like a bunch of cheapskates. They should just tear down those building and make nice ones that go with the course.

Well, I decided to play at the Home course today. I always show up to any course to try to get on…read morean play since I am a single player and most courses don't like reserving teeth time for a single player. I showed up at the Home course and was told, they were pretty booked but suggested for me to get some practice and wait around for a cancelation. I decided to go to the driving range and get warmed up. I was able to get a tee time for 9:24am which was great. I mistakenly heard 9:42am. So, I went to the starter at 9:20am, and he asked me what was my yee time, and again, I said 9:42am. So 9:42am com3s around and I can see that 4 players tee off. The starter ask me "what is your tee time?" I reply, you ask me that about 20 minutes ago, 9:42am. He says, that cannot be, the 9:42 am group just tee off. Then he ask me for my full name, which I gave him. He couldn't find my name on the list. Then he radio the pro shop and they informed him that my tee time was at 9:24am. He then replies, I don't see his name on the 9:24am tee time and at that time, there was a group of 4. I told the starter, hey don't worry about it. It was my mistake, I honestly heard, 9:42am. So, I got back to the pro shop, and thank them for trying to get me out there to play. So, my question is, should I have been reimbursed for the round I did not play? It was not like I didn't show up. I just miss heard the tee time. Anyway, the whole interaction was weird. ​The reason why I gave a one star is because, I did not play the course.

Don't have to be rude and lie. Tells us group ahead of us is on the second hole " Try to catch up..." Group ahead of us literally didn't even hit their second shot. Why lie? Bunkers filled with water to the brim??? Understand it's winter but geez... If the Saints University golfers are going to practice, tell them act appropriately. My wife and I are driving to the next hole literally coming around a blind bend and the player acts like I'm interrupting his shot. Turns around and tries to eye us down and act tough. It's a Sunday round tell them get a grip. Third rate team trying to be tough on a Sunday. A college foursome takes 15 minutes on the green to align putts and finish... 13 holes took us 4 hours. No Marshall to say anything. I'll literally tell every person I know that golfs to not play this course because this type of behavior exists.
